After leaving the bathroom, Itsuki coldly ordered the four girls out of the ward. Not one was allowed to stay.
It proved to be the right decision.
Later that night, the girls held a "crisis meeting" in the chat group and unanimously agreed: never again would they create that kind of Shura Field chaos in front of him.
Itsuki only skimmed the discussion and didn't bother worrying.
He was in the dominant position. If they wanted benefits from the Fabrication System, they had to please him.
Whenever he frowned or grew slightly displeased, he could simply chase them out with a cold face.
A few repetitions, and they'd learn. Soon, it would become habit.
That was how the Shura Field ended—beginning with the Four Flowers of Konoha.
"Itsuki, how do you feel?" The Third Hokage arrived not long after, concern written across his wrinkled face.
Itsuki tried to get up and salute, but Hiruzen gently pressed him back down.
After confirming he was uninjured, the old man sighed. "This was my oversight. I had kept your ability strictly confidential, but I didn't expect the secret to leak. Those who attacked you were after your Wood Release. But rest assured—they won't make another attempt. I've already given them a stern warning."
Hold him high, put him down gently, Itsuki thought, rolling his eyes inwardly. The Third had likely "warned" Danzō again.
Like countless netizens in his past life, Itsuki had little fondness for this old man who smoothed everything over, always balancing "merit" with "forgiveness." It left a bitter taste.
Fortunately, Hiruzen wouldn't live much longer. Itsuki had no intention of saving him.
"The village needs stability," the Hokage continued. "Even I cannot punish meritorious elders without restraint. You've been wronged. To make it up to you, I've prepared something. I hope you won't resent me."
"Third Hokage, you are too kind," Itsuki replied earnestly, his tone dripping with gratitude. "You've always cared for me. I respect you deeply—how could I harbor resentment?"
Relieved, Hiruzen smiled and produced a folder from his robes. "This is a deed of ownership. A house in the village center. Where you lived before was far too shabby for your current status. I had planned to upgrade your living conditions anyway—better to do it now."
"I've replaced all the furnishings. You can move in as soon as you're discharged."
Itsuki took the document. It was a real estate certificate.
His eyes widened. "How can I accept this? Third Hokage, it's too precious. I've done nothing to deserve it!"
"No," Hiruzen said firmly, "you have. Your abilities will be of great use to Konoha. Consider this an advance on what you're owed."
After repeated refusals, Itsuki finally "relented" and accepted with visible emotion. Tears even welled in his eyes.
"Third Hokage's kindness is unforgettable! From now on, whenever you need me, I'll give my all to repay this debt."
"Hahaha, I ask nothing but the village's prosperity," Hiruzen chuckled, visibly satisfied.
After a few more words of concern, he took his leave, reminding Itsuki to rest well before reporting on the Grass Village mission.
The moment the old man left, Itsuki lost interest in the hospital entirely.
He wasn't sick, nor injured—lying here had only been for show. A few hours was enough.
Besides, he was dying to see his new house.
According to the certificate, the property sat in a prime location, covering more than 1,000 square meters.
In his past life, Itsuki had been just another struggling salaryman, crammed into a rented apartment with three roommates.
A thousand-square-meter mansion? That was beyond dreams.
Yes, with his current talent and Wood Release, wealth would come in time. But if fortune was already handed to him—why wait?
He rushed through the discharge procedures and hurried to the address.
What he found stunned him.
A massive compound stood beside the bustling commercial street, not far from the Hokage's office and close to the Ninja Academy.
A three-meter wall of blue brick encircled the estate. Through the gates, Itsuki glimpsed cherry trees in bloom and a three-story main building towering at the center.
The gates themselves were carved mahogany, stately and elegant, flanked by a pair of stone lions that guarded the threshold with silent majesty.
Itsuki stood before the gates, heart pounding.
Damn… this really belongs to me?
He checked the deed again and again before finally pushing the door open.
A stone path stretched inside, cherry trees lining both sides.
Ahead lay a broad open courtyard, ringed by flower beds now overgrown with weeds.
From here, three separate courtyards branched off.
The central compound held the three-story main residence, a row of five side chambers, and even a martial arts hall more than a hundred square meters wide.
The two side courtyards mirrored each other—each a neat three-bedroom house with its own yard.
Itsuki toured the grounds in a daze, so thrilled he nearly danced.
Too big. Too grand. Too unreal.
Such an estate wasn't a home for one man—it was fit for a clan.
Could it be… the Third wants me to found a family of my own?
Not a bad idea. On that, at least, the old man had vision.
But Itsuki didn't dwell on the Hokage's motives. He hurried into the main building.
The entry hall was vast, a great mahogany dining table at its center, big enough to seat a dozen.
Above hung a crystal chandelier casting warm light.
Paintings of Konoha's landscapes adorned the walls.
One, however, made Itsuki pause.
It depicted a long-haired man in Hokage robes, holding the Hokage's hat.
He stood in a cherry blossom grove, smiling faintly into the distance.
Itsuki blinked.
"Second Hokage…?"
