"Assalam o Alaikum," I whisper into the quiet of my room, as if greeting my own reflection.
"My name is Hayat… and I have a story to tell."
Everyone's life has its share of noise the ups, the downs, the constant chatter of moments we never planned. But mine? Mine has always been a little too loud, too messy, too real.
If I told you that chaos isn't just a part of my life - it is my life , would you believe me? Probably not.
But that's okay. You will.
Because this story begins with a little hope that somewhere, somehow, my words might reach you. Maybe they'll make you smile. Maybe they'll sting a little. Maybe they'll teach you something I had to learn the hard way.
My journey starts where most stories fade into the background in the corridors of my school.
Ninth grade.
It was the year everything changed.
We were five girls five storms in one classroom. Small in number, but loud enough to wake the entire building. Teachers sighed when they saw us coming. Some rolled their eyes; others simply gave up.
> "Here come the troublemakers," one would mutter under her breath.
"May Allah guide them," another would whisper — half prayer, half complaint.
We weren't cruel. Just… reckless. Full of life.
Our laughter could drown out warnings, our jokes could turn punishments into stories. We weren't the innocent ones sitting in the front row. We were the ones making memories in the back.
Looking back now, I can say this: my story isn't one of perfection.
There are no angels here. No queens or princesses. Just a girl who tripped, got lost, and somehow through pain, through faith, through everything found her way closer to her Creator.
So, if you walk with me through these pages, be ready.
You'll step on thorns before you touch the flowers.
You'll see moments that might make you angry, others that might make you ache.
Because this isn't a dream. It's a reality check.
And this story it isn't only mine.
It belongs to everyone who's ever felt lost.
To everyone who's ever looked in the mirror and thought, I'm not enough.
If that's you… then welcome.
Let's start from the beginning.
