The battlefield grew even more chaotic. Malekis's voice carried a cold, cruel laugh as the red Aether particles coursing through his body gathered once more, bending reality itself. It seemed his consciousness could shape the world at will, twisting everything according to his desire.
Nathan Hawk did not flinch. His telekinesis and electricity surged to unprecedented levels, forming a massive arc of energy that collided violently with Malekis's Aether force. It was as if two cataclysmic storms had met, sending terrifying shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.
Flames and lightning intertwined, and the air was thick with the smell of fire and ozone. The clash of telekinesis and Aether power intensified, whipping the winds into chaotic currents and shaking the earth beneath them.
Malekis's reality-altering abilities allowed him to manipulate the terrain itself, creating bizarre and lethal conditions. The ground cracked and erupted, while arcs of lightning and fire intertwined beneath the surface, forming deadly traps.
Nathan unleashed arcs of energy in a desperate attempt to disrupt Malekis's reality-warping, but Malekis's control was extraordinary. He reshaped the battlefield, making it impossible for Nathan's arcs to pass, while illusions and light played tricks on Hawk's eyes.
Andre and Cruz joined the fray, launching attacks to divert Malekis's attention. Yet Malekis's power was overwhelming; he effortlessly shrugged off their assaults.
His reality manipulation grew stronger, nearly omnipotent. Spikes erupted from the ground, countless illusions appeared, and Nathan's telekinetic strikes were thwarted again and again. Red lightning and arcs of electricity intertwined above the battlefield, blazing in a display that made the tension almost palpable.
Nathan pushed his telekinesis and electromagnetic abilities to their limits, striving to resist Malekis's suppression. Yet the reality-warping power before him made his brow furrow—he had never faced such a force.
"This is my domain. You cannot defeat me!" Malekis taunted, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
"Really?" Nathan remained calm, his confidence unwavering. Electric arcs surged wildly around him, clashing with Malekis's Aether particles, igniting dazzling sparks.
Malekis's strength escalated further. Red Aether energy suffused the battlefield as his gestures traced invisible patterns, shaping reality with fluid precision.
Nathan resisted stubbornly. His telekinesis and electricity coalesced into a solid energy barrier around him, his eyes burning with determination to prevent Malekis from gaining the upper hand.
Suddenly, Malekis released a red flash, engulfing his entire body before vanishing entirely. Nathan scanned the battlefield frantically, trying to locate him.
A red lightning strike suddenly streaked past Nathan, slamming into his shield. The force threw him backward several steps, his body wobbling under the impact.
Malekis reappeared beside him, a blood-red longsword in hand. His swordsmanship was impeccable, the blade tracing a lethal arc aimed straight for Nathan.
Nathan reacted instantly, forming a psychic energy shield in his palm to intercept the blow. The collision of their powers sent a shockwave across the battlefield.
The close-quarters duel intensified. Blades clashed with shields continuously, electricity coiling around Nathan's sword to weaken Malekis's strikes.
Malekis's stoic face carried a trace of mockery. His swordplay was artful, constantly shifting angles, searching for Hawk's weak points.
Nathan's focus was absolute. His psychic shield was unyielding, electricity danced along his blade, and his movements were serpentine and precise, evading Malekis's every strike.
Red Aether particles surged through Malekis. He accelerated, his sword energy crackling like lightning, attacks coming so fast they were nearly impossible to predict.
Nathan felt immense pressure. He unleashed a massive electric arc, clashing with Malekis's red lightning, sparking a brilliant explosion of energy.
Malekis's sword shifted again, targeting Nathan's waist in a deadly strike—but Hawk's psychic shield blocked it just in time.
The duel reached a stalemate. Blades and shields, electricity and Aether energy clashed relentlessly. Flames and lightning collided violently, shaking the ground.
After a forceful collision, both were thrown back, landing firmly on the ground.
"You are doomed," Nathan said coldly.
Malekis finally had a moment to assess the battlefield. The Dark Elves were clearly losing. He knew that if he continued in this way, he would suffer even greater losses. Extreme measures were needed to turn the tide.
A determined gleam flashed in his eyes. A reckless idea took hold. He would gamble everything. Malekis realized that he could merge the Aether particles with Dark Elf magic—a combination that, if controlled, would produce unparalleled power.
He began activating Dark Elf magic, channeling Aether energy into himself. The process was perilous; the magic of the Dark Elves and Aether energy were not naturally compatible, requiring extraordinary control.
A surge of dark energy poured into Malekis's body, making him tremble and sweat profusely. The Dark Elf magic intertwined with the Aether energy, forming an unprecedented, fused power.
His body seemed consumed by darkness, his skin paling and eyes turning a deep crimson. Muscles bulged, hair black as night, and most strikingly, a pair of massive black wings unfolded from his back, feathers glimmering with an almost sacred light, like a star in the darkness.
Clad in a black cloak, eyes glittering like stars, Malekis stood at the center of the battlefield, emanating a mysterious and commanding aura.
"Now, it's time to end this game."
Confidence radiated from his words. He soared into the air with unmatched force, aiming for the center of the battlefield.
Thor, Andre, Cruz, the Invisible Man, John Walker, and all Asgardian warriors were stunned by this sudden transformation. Witnessing Malekis's true form, they felt the oppressive weight of his power.
Malekis launched a new offensive. His speed and strength had reached unprecedented levels. His sword moved like black lightning, flashing with thunderous energy, striking toward Nathan Hawk.
Nathan countered with every ounce of strength. His electricity formed a powerful shield, resisting the onslaught—but Malekis's strikes were razor-sharp, each infused with terrifying force.
Boom!
Nathan Hawk was struck down.
Thor, Andre, and Cruz sensed the shift. They united to fight this new form, but the pressure was immense.
The Invisible Man and John Walker neutralized the remaining Dark Elves, isolating Malekis completely.
Malekis displayed his new abilities, combining Dark Elf magic with Aether power. He controlled darkness, warped reality, and unleashed devastating energy.
"Try again," Nathan shouted, launching a punch.
Malekis barely glanced at him.
"Weak," he said, raising his left hand. A twisted barrier of air instantly blocked Nathan's attack.
Andre and Cruz attempted to distract him with fire and telekinesis, but Malekis moved effortlessly like a shadow.
Thor swung Mjolnir with all his might, but Malekis dismissed the attacks with a flick of Aether energy, forming lethal arcs that threatened everyone's lives. His goal was clear: destroy Thor and his team completely.
From afar, the battlefield shifted.
"Malekis, combined with the Reality Stone, Nathan Hawk is doomed," a deep voice intoned. A man in a black striped robe spoke.
"Calculations indicate Hawk poses a multiversal threat, especially to our world. He must be eliminated before he rises," another, clad in wizard's robes, added.
"Malekis has already received what you gave him. After fusing with the Reality Stone, his mind has been stabilized. At least until Nathan Hawk is dead, there will be no issue," a calm, aged voice spoke.
"Thank you for your help, Professor X," said Black Bat King to the wheelchair-bound Professor.
Professor X waved a hand. "I did it for our world," he replied, then looked at the man in the wizard's robe.
"Mordo, are your intel reports accurate?" X asked, eyes on the battlefield.
Mordo twisted the ring on his left hand with two fingers of his right, watching Nathan Hawk. Memories of past events flashed through his mind…
"Cassilius? How dare you appear before me," Mordo said darkly to the ominous figure.
Cassilius smiled faintly. "You are the great Sorcerer Supreme now, but I have something important to tell you."
He showed a parallel universe, different from the multiverse.
In that universe, Mordo frowned at a scene of him and the Illuminati being slain by Wanda.
"It's not over yet," Cassilius said with a sinister grin.
Then scenes of Nathan Hawk fighting Spider-Man appeared, followed by confrontations with Billy, Ancient One, Wanda, and a shadowy humanoid.
Mordo grew wary, suspecting Cassilius was hiding something.
But soon, information about Miss America was leaked.
Mordo snorted. "Stop your schemes. Tell me your purpose."
Cassilius chuckled. "Recently, a spatial rift appeared in the Illuminati's research facility."
Mordo's eyes narrowed. "That was you. That rift should never have existed in my world."
Cassilius shrugged. "The rift contains an ancient evil god. But haven't you already secured it? You even developed technology to traverse the multiverse."
"Now, Ancient One wants to destroy the rift to study it, allowing travel across multiverses and mobilizing forces to enter them."
Cassilius paused, his gaze cunning. The Illuminati. The research would not cease. With his trade with Caru concluded, Mordo's next move was imminent.
