Malekith raised his hand. The power of the Aether gathered in his palm, condensing into a crimson beam of energy. Like a whirlwind of destruction, it surged straight toward Thor.
The red energy beam collided with Mjolnir, erupting in blinding sparks and violent waves of power. Two overwhelming forces crashed into each other, and the battle instantly escalated.
Thor's body surged with thunderous energy as he swung his hammer, struggling to push the beam back. Yet the Aether's power was terrifyingly strong. Malekith poured everything into the attack, teeth clenched, refusing to yield.
The fierce clash drew the attention of everyone on the battlefield.
A mocking smile crept across Malekith's face, his eyes glinting with cunning. He knew Thor could not withstand the Aether—and that was his greatest advantage.
"You're as stubborn as ever, God of Thunder," Malekith sneered. "But you should understand—you have no chance. The Aether is my greatest weapon. You cannot resist it. Surrender now, or face destruction."
His voice dripped with ridicule and warning, as if declaring that resistance would only make Thor's fate more miserable. Yet the taunt only hardened Thor's resolve. He knew that only by fighting to the very end could he stop Malekith's scheme.
The Aether's power sent Thor staggering backward before slamming him into the ground, stone fragments exploding in all directions. Still, Thor refused to fall. He pushed himself up, fire burning fiercely in his eyes.
Roaring, Thor charged again, lifting Mjolnir high as lightning gathered around the hammerhead. He struck with blistering speed, thunder crashing down in a violent arc.
Malekith remained unfazed. Channeling Dark Elf magic through the Aether, he formed a powerful protective barrier. When Mjolnir struck it, a brilliant red flash burst forth, repelling the lightning with explosive force.
Thor was thrown back several steps, his grip on the hammer nearly slipping. Malekith stood calmly, a cold smile on his face.
"It seems your lightning cannot break my Aether shield," Malekith mocked. "You've reached the end. Why not surrender?"
His confidence surged. Without hesitation, Malekith gathered more Aether energy around his body. The crimson energy solidified into a dense shield, red lines like burning flames crawling across its surface.
Those glowing lines darkened, fusing into a suit of black armor radiating absolute dominance. In his hand formed a massive dark blade forged from Aether energy, its edge etched with fiery red patterns.
He looked like a dark sovereign, ready to rule all.
Thor stood opposite him, gripping Mjolnir tightly, eyes unwavering.
They clashed again—harder than before.
Mjolnir tore through the sky as a bolt of lightning struck Malekith's dark shield. The impact thundered like the sky itself collapsing, the air trembling violently.
Malekith staggered back a few steps but quickly steadied himself, a cold smile returning.
Thor pressed the attack, swinging again. Malekith gritted his teeth and raised his dark sword to block. Hammer and blade collided, spraying sparks in every direction.
Their battle was like two titanic forces colliding—brutal, relentless, and suffocating.
Thor unleashed his full strength. Each strike of Mjolnir roared with thunder, devastating and unforgiving. His style was direct, overwhelming, merciless.
Malekith countered with precision and deception. His sword danced through the air, crimson flames trailing every swing. Each strike was fast, calculated, deadly.
They fought without pause. Metal screamed against metal. Energy surged. The ground shook beneath their feet.
Thor tried to smash Malekith with the hammer's shaft, but Malekith deflected every blow with uncanny agility. He slipped past an attack and slashed at Thor's waist. Thor barely leapt clear.
Malekith relentlessly searched for weaknesses, while Thor continued hammering at the shield with raw thunderous force.
The battlefield became a blazing inferno of fire and lightning. Everyone watching held their breath—they knew the fate of two worlds hung on this duel.
A deafening crack rang out.
A fracture appeared in Malekith's shield.
Mjolnir pierced through.
Thor seized the moment and drove his fist into Malekith's face, slamming him into the ground.
Blood streamed down Malekith's cheek—but instantly, Aether energy surged into the wound, healing it completely, leaving not a trace.
Malekith licked the blood from his lips and grinned wickedly.
"You are resilient, God of Thunder," he mocked. "But you cannot defeat me. The Aether's power is beyond your understanding. You're in grave danger now."
He launched a relentless barrage, his blade igniting with crimson flames that sliced through the air in brilliant arcs.
Thor dodged and countered, swinging Mjolnir at lightning speed—but Malekith's agility was overwhelming. His attacks came nonstop, forcing Thor backward.
Flaming sword waves scorched the ground. Thor blocked with his hammer, each defense shaking his arms to the core.
Malekith attacked like a raging storm, taunting Thor with every strike.
Thor roared and charged, swinging harder—but Malekith slipped aside effortlessly.
"Your struggle is meaningless," Malekith sneered. "This is the end."
Still, Thor refused to surrender. Despite the pain and exhaustion, he fought on, lightning crackling with every swing.
Mjolnir slammed into the ground, shockwaves rippling outward. Thor tried to shatter the shield with sheer force—but Malekith always evaded at the last instant.
A flaming blade pierced Thor's shoulder. He cried out—but did not fall. Gritting his teeth, he fought on.
Steel and thunder clashed again and again. Sparks and lightning exploded with every impact.
Thor's breathing grew ragged, sweat dripping from his brow—but his eyes never wavered.
Then—he saw it.
A fleeting opening.
Thor struck, forcing Malekith back several steps.
Drawing in a deep breath, Thor gathered all his remaining power. Lightning roared around him as he charged once more.
"Defeat is inevitable," Malekith said coldly.
Aether energy surged, forming an impenetrable shield. Mjolnir slammed into it with earth-shattering force, thunder and crimson light colliding violently.
The ground trembled. The sky itself seemed to shudder.
Thor poured every ounce of lightning into the strike, determined to end it.
But Malekith stood firm, smiling fearlessly. Dark Elf magic and Aether power intertwined, forming yet another barrier.
The air froze. Red energy, lightning, and fire intertwined in a breathtaking spectacle. Trees swayed. The earth cracked.
Two supreme forces collided, unleashing a blinding explosion of power.
And everyone watching understood—
This battle would decide the fate of two worlds.
