When Pepper Potts brought Nathan Hawk to Tony Stark's villa, she saw a tired Tony leaning on the sofa, swirling a glass of red wine thoughtfully.
"Good morning, Ms. Potts."
"Good morning, Mr. Nathan Hawk."
"Good morning, Jarvis."
"Hello."
Hearing the voices, Tony Stark immediately stood up. He noticed that only Nathan Hawk had arrived, raised an eyebrow, and looked toward Pepper.
Pepper shook her head. "I called, but Rhodey didn't pick up. I contacted my friends in the military district—they said Rhodey is currently on a mission."
"Alright." Tony nodded, then looked at Nathan.
"Please, have a seat. Would you like something to drink?"
"Iced Coke. Thank you."
"I'll get it," Pepper said immediately.
After preparing the iced Coke and placing it in front of Nathan, Pepper quietly excused herself, leaving the conversation to the two men.
"My research on the Extremis virus has entered the experimental stage. The antidote will be ready very soon. I need your help, Nathan," Tony said sincerely.
Nathan was quite surprised by Tony Stark's situation. At this stage, wasn't Tony supposed to be able to handle everything on his own?
He took a sip, then nodded. "Of course. How can I help?"
"I need your Steel Legion to assist in fighting the Extremis soldiers." Tony stood up and motioned for Nathan to follow him.
Nathan walked into Tony's lab—an advanced, high-tech space filled with equipment and screens that covered the entire room.
Tony began showing him the research results. He activated a screen displaying the formula and analysis of the Extremis antidote.
"Nathan, I've developed a new injection. It contains a concentrated version of the antidote, sealed inside a dart. Once injected into an Extremis soldier, their abilities will be suppressed," Tony explained.
Nathan carefully examined the data and diagrams, intrigued by the mechanism of the antidote.
"This looks promising." Nathan nodded. "If we can suppress the powers of these Extremis-enhanced individuals, they won't be a threat, and we can capture them much more easily."
"Exactly." Tony continued, "The antidote only needs one dose, and it won't cause long-term harm to their bodies."
"Impressive work," Nathan praised.
"Now, I need the Steel Legion," Tony said. "We'll equip their weapons with these antidote injectors. That way, if they encounter Extremis soldiers, they can neutralize them instantly."
"No problem. We'll work together to get the Steel Legion prepared," Nathan agreed.
The two then began collaborating closely—upgrading the Steel Legion and refining their response strategies against the Extremis soldiers.
Meanwhile, in another city—
Andre's battle against the Extremis soldiers grew more intense. These enhanced warriors used their destructive heat-based powers to wreak havoc throughout the city, endangering civilians and property.
The extreme heat and relentless attacks forced police and SWAT teams to retreat.
When shot, the bodies of these Extremis soldiers would completely disintegrate unless hit with bombs or rocket launchers. But using heavy weapons would only cause more destruction—something politicians did not want.
Andre was surrounded by a radiant glow. Using telekinesis, he attempted to stop the Extremis soldiers' rampage. He generated a transparent barrier to block their heat attacks while reflecting their assaults back at them.
Despite being hit, the Extremis soldiers refused to back down. They pushed their bodies to the limit, releasing even more heat, trying to break Andre's defenses.
"This world has become cruel and shallow. You're all just dogs of the capitalists. No one cares about us. Only the Extremis virus… only the Extremis virus gives us rebirth! It makes us transcend you privileged dogs in power—one bullet is all it takes to kill you—"
BOOM!
Andre launched him away with a telekinetic blast.
He heard their angry rants but remained expressionless, staring coldly.
"I don't care how miserable your life is," Andre thought disdainfully.
He conjured another telekinetic storm, a raging force that swept through the Extremis soldiers like a furious dragon.
The soldiers felt the crushing pressure and were forced to halt their attacks. Their bodies overheated as they tried desperately to withstand the storm. But Andre's power overwhelmed them, pushing them back step by step.
Andre didn't intend to end the fight quickly. He wanted them to suffer for their foolish choices. Using telekinesis, he hurled debris and rubble at them, forcing them to endure the consequences of their destruction.
"Idiots. Just die." Andre scanned the empty surroundings, then revealed his true nature.
With a playful curl of his finger, an even more violent storm erupted.
"If you want to explode, then explode."
The Extremis soldiers panicked.
"No—no! I don't want to die!"
"You're Super-V! Superheroes can't kill! I—I surrender—"
Andre showed no mercy. He trapped them with telekinesis and prevented their escape.
Then he opened his hand—and closed it.
Rip—
Blade-like force and screams filled the air, but vanished instantly.
Every Extremis soldier under his telekinetic grip was torn apart. As the energy faded, Andre clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"These people are shameless. Why can't they just accept their fate? If they destroyed this city, I'd have to work overtime cleaning it up."
Andre grew more frustrated with the "Extremis" organization. For him, being a superhero was merely a hobby—not a lifelong sacrifice like others. He preferred living comfortably.
"These lunatics are ruining everything. If not for them, I'd be at a party right now," Andre muttered.
"If only they stopped causing trouble, I'd never have to work overtime." He smirked sarcastically.
Suddenly, a fireball flew at him.
BOOM!
When the smoke cleared, Andre tilted his head at the bulky man approaching.
"Who are you? Another Extremis psycho?" Andre smiled mockingly—maybe this one would entertain him.
"Hey, Super-V! So you're here too? Your little telekinesis tricks? My flames will burn you into ashes!" the brute taunted, igniting with extreme heat.
Andre shrugged. "You think fire will work on me? You underestimate me."
A casual wave—telekinesis wiped out the flames.
"Impossible!" the man shouted.
"You Extremis thugs only know how to boast. Pathetic." Andre smirked.
Then, without hesitation, he crushed the man's flame ability and finished him off.
"Trash," Andre muttered.
"But… why can I fully control fire now? Did their virus evolve?" Andre clenched his fist, tearing the man's body apart with telekinesis.
In the distance—
Viper watched the scene with a gloomy expression.
Unexpectedly, the very first freshly enhanced Extremis soldier with supernatural powers had been instantly killed by Super-V.
Viper felt uneasy. She had believed the Extremis virus would give her overwhelming combat power, but this showed that against top superheroes like Super-V, the Extremis soldiers were nearly useless.
If quality isn't enough… then she would overwhelm with quantity. Viper resolved to accelerate the creation of enhanced Extremis soldiers, train them, and develop strategies to counter superheroes—one by one destroying them.
"How's the data collection?" Viper asked Aldrich.
"Even if they get wiped out instantly, as long as we can stably produce these enhanced Extremis soldiers, we won't fear any country or superhero. We'll surpass even the aliens who attacked us," Aldrich said smugly, analyzing Andre's combat data.
"When this technology matures, I'll evolve myself with more powers—fire control, storm control, super speed… I will become the only king of this world."
