Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Hotel Assassination

Following the lieutenant's command, the special forces split into three groups to execute the mission.

The first group began silently approaching the Hydra base, using stealth and sniping skills to quickly eliminate the sentries and early-warning systems.

At the same time, Andre closed his eyes, focusing his mind. Using telekinesis, he directed his attention toward the base's communication systems and surveillance network.

Invisible waves of psychic energy rippled outward.

"Blow it up!"

Boom! Boom!

Red alarms blared throughout the Hydra base. Inside, Hydra soldiers moved in formation, arming themselves and preparing for combat.

"I'll open a path for you!" Andre roared, eyes glowing as he lifted both arms. The floor beneath the Hydra troops exploded, debris flying in every direction. Smoke, dust, and fragments of concrete filled the air.

Drawing most of Hydra's attention, Andre immediately signaled the second group led by his lieutenant to move in.

The lieutenant and his team sprinted through the base's corridors. Suddenly, a squad of Hydra soldiers appeared at the doorway, weapons raised. The lieutenant reacted instantly, ordering his men to scatter and find cover. They quickly took defensive positions and prepared to engage.

Bullets tore through the air. Explosions echoed through the facility.

"Maintain formation! Don't give them a single chance!"

The third team, led by Andre himself, launched a fierce assault against the Hydra soldiers. Using his telekinetic power, Andre manipulated surrounding objects—lifting, shattering, and detonating them with deadly precision. Enemy weapons flew from their hands, crushed midair as if by an invisible fist.

Andre moved with lightning-like agility, weaving through the battlefield as Hydra soldiers fell one after another.

Adrenaline surged wildly through his veins.

"Blow it up! Blow it all up!"

Andre glanced at the explosives carried by his enemies and unleashed a pulse of psychic energy—instantly triggering multiple explosions.

BOOM!

Standing amidst the wreckage, Andre radiated immense energy. He looked down at the fallen Hydra soldiers, his expression cold and mocking.

Hydra troops roared in fury and charged forward. They knew that only by killing this superpowered enemy could they protect themselves and the base.

Andre sneered. Raising both hands, he gathered his telekinetic power. An invisible shockwave erupted, sending Hydra soldiers flying through the air, smashing them into walls and debris.

"Watch his hands!" someone shouted.

A Hydra soldier lunged toward Andre with an energy weapon aimed at his chest—but before he could fire, the weapon twisted and crumpled into scrap metal under Andre's psychic grip.

Without mercy, Andre grabbed the soldier by the throat, lifting him into the air. The man kicked and struggled helplessly against the overwhelming telekinetic force.

"You can't stop me," Andre said coldly, his voice filled with mockery and killing intent. "All you're doing is bringing yourselves more pain."

With a flick of his wrist, he slammed the soldier to the ground. A dull thud echoed across the battlefield, followed by the man's tortured screams.

Andre smiled cruelly and winked at the remaining Hydra troops.

Seeing the fate of their comrades, fear filled the soldiers' hearts—but they refused to retreat. Summoning their courage, they aimed their weapons and opened fire again.

A hail of bullets rushed toward Andre—

But with a single wave of his hand, all the bullets froze midair.

"That's it?" he sneered, smirking.

"Then let me return them to you."

With another gesture, the bullets spun around and shot back at their original shooters.

Bang! Bang! Bang! The sounds of impacts and screams filled the corridor.

Suddenly, the lights flickered and went dark.

"Looks like Team Two's doing their job well," Andre muttered.

He waved his hand, telekinetically shoving aside fallen bodies as he advanced toward the remaining Hydra soldiers sensed through his psychic field.

Nighttime.

In a luxurious penthouse suite, Nathan Hawk felt a strange summoning energy pulse through his body. He frowned slightly.

"So soon? Because of Operation Hedgehog?" he muttered, confused.

Just then, Wesker entered the room.

"It's over already?" Nathan asked, surprised.

Wesker nodded. "The mission was a complete success. We retrieved plenty of valuable assets. Meanwhile, Hydra assassins from the European branch are moving toward your location."

"Did you encounter them on the way?"

"Killed quite a few," Wesker replied calmly.

"So it's war, then?" Nathan said with a slight smile, gazing out at the city lights below.

"The hired security group has been completely wiped out by Hydra," Wesker continued. "The police guards downstairs are dead as well. And several groups of Hydra assassins were also eliminated."

"According to our intel, there will be a brief power vacuum in this area."

"That's bad news for the civilians," Nathan remarked, shaking his head. "Prepare to deploy some of the weapons."

"B1 Lickers and C1 Zombie Dogs," Wesker confirmed.

"Test subjects?"

"Testers," Wesker replied with a faint grin.

"Good. Make sure the rest is handled," Nathan said, patting Wesker's shoulder before turning to leave.

Moments later, a group of Hydra assassins entered the hotel, stepping over the corpses of terrified security guards. Their mission: kill Nathan Hawk.

A terrifying roar echoed through the building, and the air grew tense.

Cold killing intent filled the corridors.

The Hydra leader raised a hand, signaling his team to stop.

Then—another shrill roar shattered the silence.

Lickers and zombie dogs, creations of the Umbrella Corporation, emerged from the shadows, plunging the hotel into chaos and terror.

"What the hell are those!?" one assassin screamed—just before a Licker's tongue pierced his skull.

"Hold your ground! Don't lose it!"

Bang! Bang! Bang! The assassins hastily formed a defensive line, engaging the monsters in brutal close-quarters combat.

The Lickers' claws were like blades, slicing through armor as they darted through the attackers.

"They move like they're intelligent," one Hydra assassin muttered grimly, firing his weapon. Gunfire and the glint of knives filled the grand hall.

The zombie dogs, known for their speed and ferocity, lunged with glowing green eyes and bared fangs. One assassin screamed as his chest was torn open in an instant.

Bang! A high-caliber bullet pierced the zombie dog's skull.

"Shift formation—fall back and regroup," the Hydra leader ordered coldly.

The hotel lobby became a slaughterhouse. Gunfire, claws, and howls mixed into a horrifying symphony. The metallic scent of blood filled the air.

Clang!

After decapitating a zombie dog, the Hydra leader calmly signaled his men to head upstairs.

A sudden screech echoed through the corridor—another Licker appeared, its tongue shooting forward and impaling a Hydra soldier. The creature couldn't retract it in time.

Even in his final moments, the soldier grabbed the Licker's tongue with both hands. Another assassin seized the opening and plunged a blade into the creature's eye.

The Licker shrieked and collapsed. Seizing the moment, the rest of the assassins launched a coordinated counterattack, cutting down the remaining monsters.

"They really don't want us reaching the upper floors," the Hydra leader muttered coldly, signaling the survivors to continue upward.

In the dark hotel hallway, a Licker silently followed them, its pale body flickering in and out of the shadows like a predator stalking prey.

The assassins could feel the oppressive aura around them. They knew the creature was close—waiting for one mistake.

The dim lights and peeling walls gave the corridor a chilling atmosphere. Fear crept into their hearts, but retreat was no longer an option.

They tightened formation and prepared their weapons, ready to face whatever came next.

Suddenly, a Licker burst from the darkness, claws slashing through the air. A Hydra assassin screamed as blood gushed from his body. The creature tore into his flesh, devouring him alive.

The remaining assassins froze in horror—but there was no time to hesitate. They opened fire, desperately fighting back.

The corridor filled with the stench of death.

The Licker darted through the darkness, avoiding bullets with terrifying agility and striking back with savage precision. Its claws ripped through armor and flesh alike.

With a thunderous crash, it lunged again, tearing another assassin apart in seconds.

Blood splattered across the walls as the surviving assassins retreated, weapons drawn, faces pale with fear.

But the Licker did not relent—it vanished into the shadows, then reappeared behind one of them, jaws wide open.

In one horrifying moment, it swallowed the man whole.

"Stay alert! Stay alert!" the Hydra leader shouted, trying to keep the others calm.
