After the examination, Kanna-chan went back to rest. She had been fighting for several days, especially this last trip, which had really gotten her moving. Besides, she had noticed that her system seemed to have suddenly displayed a completed quest, and she planned to check it when she got back.
That day in the cafeteria, it was noticed that whether it was the rescued people or the Operators,
most of those who participated in the Chernobog battle were eating a plate of vegetarian food. The usually fragrant and popular meat dishes were untouched.
Not only that, if someone walked past them with a plate of meat, these people's faces would turn very ugly, and they would show symptoms of nausea.
After Kal'tsit learned about this situation, she had the kitchen prepare specially customized nutritious vegetarian meals for these Operators (this meal set was kindly provided by Hibiscus).

Meanwhile, Kanna-chan returned to her room to check on this sudden glitch in the system.

Pokeball: The user can capture an unconscious creature into the Pokeball. After entering, the creature will be transformed into a 'shell-breaking moe' (Broken Shell). The 'shell-breaking moe' will retain all its combat power, consciousness, and language, and its physical condition will be restored to a healthy standard. (One ball, one creature; cannot be released; can be purchased from the system store)
Kanna-chan was a bit speechless after reading this. She finally understood that this system was absolutely ruthless when it came to not being human. It claimed to be the 'Lord of Thunder System' and would definitely not give Kanna-chan any ability to save others, but at the same time, it would provide some seemingly inexplicable, but actually quite inexplicable, items to help Kanna-chan achieve some of her wishes.
Just like this Pokeball, this thing has significant side effects; using it means becoming non-human like Dahlia. But similarly, once used, the other party can escape the torment of oripathy.

In Kanna-chan's opinion, if Rhodes Island couldn't find a way to treat severely Infected Operators like Ifrit, this item could be used as a last resort. Although it would make them non-human like Dahlia, their language and consciousness would still be there, and their combat power wouldn't be affected.
The little fire dragon would turn into a real little fire dragon. Kanna-chan hesitated, perhaps it wouldn't be needed, after all, the Doctor was back, and no one knew what would happen next.
Tucking the Pokeball into her pocket, Kanna-chan decided to tell Kal'tsit later; for now, she just wanted a good night's sleep.
The next day, when she went out, she met several members of the Rhine Lab team. It turned out that Ifrit had learned about their exploits in Chernobog from other Operators. Realizing Kanna-chan hadn't returned for a long time, she applied to Silence to visit her.
Silence was aware of some of the situation in Chernobog, but her main focus was still on the Catastrophe. After all, many Medical Department Operators from Rhodes Island had gone to Chernobog to rescue Refugees. Kanna-chan was a survivor of the Catastrophe and an acquaintance, so Silence wanted to ask her about it and also check on Kanna-chan, worried she might have been Infected during the Catastrophe.
Dahlia had been inseparable from Ifrit during this time. She naturally transformed into a blob of water slime, perched on Ifrit's head, and came along.
"You mean that Catastrophe? It was quite terrifying. Meteorites as thick as houses were falling from the sky. If you were lucky, you'd just go 'splat' and be gone. If you were unlucky, you'd be half-buried, still struggling on the other side. That scene was truly hell. But Raidian sis and I were lucky; we weren't hit."
Recalling the Catastrophe, Kanna-chan also sighed. She wanted to save people, but in that situation, she was powerless. After all, one second she'd save someone, and the next, they might be sent away by another meteorite falling from the sky.
Coupled with having to protect Raidian, there were many times when she could only help as much as she could.
"Speaking of which, how is Ifrit doing?" Kanna-chan asked.
"The last incident left her body with hidden dangers. Currently, even with our best efforts, we can only slow down the increase in Ifrit's originium concentration..." Ifrit's condition was generally known to those around her, including herself, so Silence didn't hide it, instead looking worriedly at the little fire dragon who was playing with Dahlia again.

Silence turned her head to stare at Kanna-chan, then looked thoughtfully at Dahlia, and nodded, "Alright, I happen to have some medical questions to ask Doctor Kal'tsit, so I'll go with you."
The group arrived at the Medical Department in a grand procession. Kal'tsit was currently here, organizing the department's affairs. Normally, she could leave these matters to Warfarin, but now that Warfarin, as the head of the Medical Department, had gone to Chernobog, Kal'tsit had to handle everything herself.
"Is there something?" Seeing Kanna-chan and Silence and the others behind her, Kal'tsit asked after she finished her work and had a moment of free time.
"Hehe! Empress Dowager Kal'tsit... bah, Doctor Kal'tsit, I've got a few new treasures here. Want to take a look?" Kanna-chan looked around to make sure no one was listening, then walked cautiously to Kal'tsit's side and pulled out a Pokeball, looking exactly like a cereal vendor at a school gate.
Kal'tsit frowned and took a Pokeball from Kanna-chan's hand, examining it. It was just a ball; apart from being red on top, white on the bottom, and having a button in the middle, it was nothing more than a ball.
