Kanna and Kal'tsit were on the balcony.
"Sniff, sniff! Wow, Kal'tsit, you smell awful!" As soon as they met, Kanna began to complain. Although she hadn't witnessed Kal'tsit's battle with the Seaborn, the strong, fishy smell unique to the deep sea lingered on her.
"Stop messing around. Have you found anything? Don't tell me you just sat here all day." For a child like Kanna, Kal'tsit's solution was not to follow her lead. You say what you want, I'll say what I want. I'm the adult, and in the end, you'll still have to listen to me.
"Of course! Although those people thought they were being very discreet, I saw everything clearly. It's just that there were too many people to mention, and besides, there's no proof. From my observations, there are about twenty suspected Abyssal Cultists, making up about a third of all the people. Of course, I'm not sure if there are others among them who are deeply hidden and haven't shown themselves yet, ha!"
Pointing to the plaza outside, Kanna's tone carried a hint of mockery.
"Then you'll sleep in the same room as Dona tonight. Ilena and I need to keep an eye on this group. If I'm not mistaken, they will definitely retaliate when the news from the City Hall arrives. Dona's life is in your hands."
Kal'tsit looked towards the church. A small opening slowly appeared there, and about ten people were walking out.
"What are these people doing?" With just a glance, Kanna exclaimed, 'Good heavens!' These ten people were all the suspected Abyssal Cultists she had identified today.
"There are many elderly people trapped inside this time. Ilena has permitted people to go to the dormitories to get some blankets for everyone to use overnight. Is there something wrong with these people?" Kal'tsit noticed the unusual tone in Kanna's voice.
"They're all problematic, alright! It seems they want to seize this opportunity to make a move." She didn't even need to think; with all of them being enemies, the other side definitely couldn't resist making a move.
"Then you go inside and protect Dona closely. I'll handle things outside."
Kanna looked at the shadow behind Kal'tsit. Mon3tr was lurking in the shadows, its sharp claws like a longbow poised to fire. As soon as these people showed any abnormality, it would mercilessly tear them to shreds.
Opening the door and entering the room, Dona was sitting by the bed, lost in thought.
Kanna's eyes lit up as she scanned the room. She walked to Lucy's bed and took a box from it. She was very familiar with this box; it was used to hold a violin.
Opening the box, a violin lay quietly inside.
Kanna unceremoniously took out the violin and walked over to Dona. "Dona, Dona, can you play the violin?"
Dona was startled awake from her daze by Kanna's voice. She looked in surprise at the violin in Kanna's hand. She recognized this violin; it was Lucy's favorite instrument, and she usually never had a chance to touch it.
Then, thinking that she wouldn't live much longer anyway, there was no need to care about other people's feelings. She reached out and took the instrument from Kanna's hand. "A little, but I'm not very good at it."
Accompanying her words, a somewhat halting melody began to play from inside the room. Outside, Kal'tsit, hearing the violin music from within, slightly opened her narrowed eyes.
Downstairs, those people also heard the music coming from above. They couldn't help but sneer; they still had the leisure to play the violin now, but soon they would have nowhere to cry.
To avoid Kal'tsit detecting anything unusual while she stood outside, the ten people split into two groups and ascended the stairs from both the left and right sides simultaneously. Upon reaching the second floor, they stopped and then moved towards the area below Dona's room.
Hearing them enter and walk directly to the second floor, Kal'tsit was a bit puzzled. Since these people were looking to cause trouble for Dona, why did they stop on the second floor?
She peered down the stairwell and noticed that they had no intention of going up to the third floor.
Initially, she found it strange, but then, her expression turned cold and severe. Their target was undoubtedly Dona; there was no mistake. Since they chose not to go up to the third floor, they must have another plan—a plan to directly attack Dona's room from below.
She turned to look at Dona's room, which suddenly emitted a loud crash. She quickly rushed over with mon3tr, and upon entering, found it empty, with only a large, conspicuously broken hole in the floor.
Walking to the edge of the hole and squatting down, Kal'tsit touched its damp edges, guessing that Kanna and the other person must have encountered the same situation she had earlier.
She walked out of the room. At this moment, Ilena, hearing the commotion, quickly ran over from the main entrance, meeting Kal'tsit at the doorway.
"What happened?" Ilena looked through the doorway into the room, finding it empty except for a large hole.
"It should be the same as what happened to me earlier today; they were pulled into another place by magic. With Kanna there, there's no need to worry; she'll handle any danger. What's important now is to prevent more chaos from happening in the Church."
At this moment, the Church also opened a small opening, as someone, hearing the commotion, wanted to come and see.
Thinking of this, the two no longer lingered and rushed towards the Church.

After picking up the violin, Dona visibly relaxed.
Kanna was about to praise her when she suddenly felt a tremor beneath her feet. She pulled Dona behind her, grabbed the weapon box that had been resting nearby, and a sea breeze blew in from the hole.
The next second, the two vanished from the room, and then the door opened, and Kal'tsit rushed in.
Before she even landed, she felt the surrounding environment suddenly change, transforming from a spacious and bright bedroom into a dark and damp cave.
Upon seeing her surroundings, Dona couldn't help but tremble. This was where her nightmare began.
Feeling the body behind her shaking continuously from fear, Kanna picked up the violin that had fallen to the side and handed it to Dona.
"If you don't know what to do, play the violin. If you're still scared, close your eyes and play."
Hearing Kanna's words, Dona couldn't help but widen her eyes. She didn't understand how fearless the girl in front of her truly was. She and Kanna were clearly in a desperate situation, yet Kanna still had the presence of mind to ask her to play the violin.
She surveyed the surroundings. This was a small pit, surrounded by rocks, with the only entrance not far away.
Just then, a rustling sound came from the entrance. Kanna unceremoniously hurled the box in her hand.
Accompanied by a splash of liquid, the sound also stopped. Those people and monsters outside had no idea that the person inside was so ferocious. Before they even saw anyone, a huge wooden box was smashed onto the ground at the entrance, crushing several Rushing Ones into pulp.
