Once the Ki-laced message dispersed into nothingness, Boreas found himself once again surrounded by darkness. He found it similar to reading off a will, even though it really wasn't one. It'd be up to Boreas's own luck to see if there are any techniques he could learn from this Frost Clan. He wasn't aware that Frost Demons even had martial arts to begin with. Perhaps this clan was special? The Cold Force simply fought with brute force, overpowering their opponents while giving them a fleeting chance that they thought could ever stand up to them.
One would see this firsthand when the Z-Fighters start fighting Frieza. Every time, Frieza would power-up and transform, knocking the Z-Fighters down again and again, giving them false hope. Frieza loved to flaunt his strength around.
Boreas, on the other hand, didn't enjoy such acts. He is bound to become a fighter one way or another, but he wouldn't tease his enemies. He didn't enjoy doing that. Swift, and efficient, just like how King Frost mentioned.
'Still, to think I would get a triple boost in power. It's a shame I won't be able to thank the Frost Clan. Perhaps that is not entirely untrue, this Frost Clan leader wants me to live on, and by doing that, I will carry their will. That is likely the best way to honor them, even if they are one of DBZ's worst lifeforms in existence.', Boreas thought.
But it wasn't like all Frost Demons were inherently evil. There are varying degrees of "Wickedness", and this Frost Clan holds values amongst its Frost Demons. And above all, they valued strength the most.
So for Boreas, all he had to do is simply grow stronger so others can't backstab him in the back. It did not matter if he was good or evil.
'Is this what the God of Destruction is like?', Boreas thought, wondering if his train of thought was similar.
While wondering about that, Boreas regained his composure, and finished his silent prayer. Once his vision became clear, he became surprised once more. He looked around. He could actually see in this darkness! It was like he had night vision. He could see all around him. Perhaps this was another trait of the Frost Clan? Now it's beginning to make sense as to why the Frost Clan could live in such an environment. They didn't need lights or external sources to see. His own body could!
For some strange reason, it felt too tranquil. He figured he would have been greeted by some sign of life. Any, really.
But there wasn't any.
It was too desolate. Even for Boreas's taste.
"This place is so dead...", Boreas spoke, frowning. His tail swerved about. It was beginning to dawn on him.
Boreas was truly alone. Not a single sign of life persisted in this place. Nor was there a single fish swimming nearby. He could see clearly.
It was too empty.
Maybe there was a reason for this? Frost Demons engaged in warfare, and waged wars across the entire cardinal galaxies. North, West, East, and South. Frieza's homeworld, to which Boreas learned that it is called Planet Zero, was never mentioned in canon. It never stated which of the four galaxies it was in. But Frieza waged wars across the North Galaxy for the most part. That was where Planet Earth resided too. So it is likely Boreas is inside King Kai's domain, the North Galaxy.
But some point in time, the Frost Clan grew tired of fighting against the Cold Force. They retreated into the ocean's depths, and began ignoring them outright. It stretched so far that King Frost's message told Boreas there were only a few members of the Cold Force still alive. Likely King Cold himself, Frieza's older brother Cooler, and Frieza. Considering Boreas was five years old now if his time calculation was right, Frieza should also be five years old. He didn't know if there were any more Frost Demons now. Well, four total if Boreas is included.
Honestly speaking, Boreas held little attachment to this place. Yes, it gave him new life, but it was just that. He had no one he could call family here. And now that he was a Frost Demon, the concept of family suddenly felt foreign. That was something humans had. To Boreas, he was no longer human. Would he even create a family in this new life of his? He wasn't sure.
Boreas's attention shifted toward his body after shaking that thought aside. He resided in that capsule for an entire five years. His body grew over double in size. Before, he was around three feet or so. Now, he was around eight feet tall. Even taller than Cooler, let alone Frieza. Frieza always complained about being extremely short.
Boreas was thankful he didn't get the short end of the stick!
Boreas glanced around his body. His muscles were quite dense. He had that bony-like skin too. Several plates covered his arms, legs and chest, very similar to how other Frost Demons appeared. If what King Frost spoke of was true, his Battle Power should be a whopping 1,500,000 million. And while having such a body was a nice, new addition, he couldn't waltz into the Cold Force or anything. He had no techniques to call his own yet!
He didn't have raw destructive powers like the God of Destruction had where he could simply "Hakai" beings out of existence. Boreas had to learn how to use his Ki first. Just feeling it already after emerging from the capsule was a win for his books.
Boreas knew there were training periods in DBZ. That is what prompted Boreas to decide on leaving Planet Zero. He had little business here. What Boreas found surprising was how quickly Frost Demons matured. Unlike other lifeforms, Frost Demons have explosive Battle Power from birth. Frieza had his 530,000 Battle Power by the time he destroyed Planet Vegeta despite being in his suppressed First Form, and long before that, Frieza was already in his natural "Final Form" state. Over his thirty years of life, Frieza developed multiple forms to suppress his Battle Power, and hardly ever used his Full Power form.
It was strange to Boreas as to why someone like Frieza would restrict his strength, instead of training and developing it further. Thankfully, Boreas wasn't him!
And it was very possible that King Cold had already taken Frieza offworld. Cooler is much older than Frieza, so he is already likely off doing whatever he pleases doing god knows what.
Woosh!
Doing a crouching motion, Boreas became a jetstream. He directed his Ki downward, and allowed it to roam free. He quickly sped upward and upward. Slowly but surely, the water's colors began changing, no longer appearing as dark as it was before. He soon saw the water's surface in the far distance. Plop!
With an intense speed, Boreas surfaced. The scenery changed, and he saw Planet Zero's surface for the first time!
Boreas found it a nice surprise he could fly so naturally like this. He wasn't Videl, another human, who had to train to sense Ki first in order to fly. He already grasped that feeling the moment he could move his body around. It likely won't take Boreas much effort to start using various battle techniques once he does start learning them.
As one would say, a "Prodigy".
But once Boreas's eyes started to observe his new surroundings, he frowned. It was a pure wasteland, filled with nothing but ice, icy mountains, and glaciers drifting over the ocean. And a bunch of water surrounding him. The nearest mass of land was a ways off. It would take some time to fly over to it. But did it even serve any purpose to Boreas?
Thinking that, Boreas continued to observe. He didn't bother picking a direction. His mind remained on the feeling that was flowing through his body. It felt so new, so fresh. It was like he was in a constant state of clarity.
Boreas raised a single finger, wanting to try something new. He let his Ki flow toward his finger, "directing" it. He wanted to see if something would happen. And to his surprise, something did!
Boreas's finger tip began to illuminate. His body was pointed toward the ocean's surface. Unbeknownst to him, several days passed by in a blink of an eye when he attempted to surface. He saw a deep ocean-blue aura swirling around his fingertip.
"So this is Ki eh?", Boreas uttered, musing at this newfound feeling. The deep blue glow constantly wrapped over his finger. It felt strong.
Boreas didn't care about the direction he was going to shoot toward, so he picked a direction at random. Looking downward, with a single thought, he willed the Ki that formed over his finger to move. It acted like a gun. Wooosh!
Before Boreas's very eyes, a Death Beam-like Ki laser suddenly shot out of his finger. It shot downward into the water, creating a very quick ripple that ceased shortly after. It wasn't a large impact, so there wasn't an explosion or anything. Boreas saw the Death Beam continue into the ocean before him. It kept moving, moving, and moving. Seemingly without end.
It soon fizzled out, not even reaching the ocean floor.
"Just how deep is this damn ocean?", Boreas cursed, frowning. His first release of Ki didn't really do anything. It just continued its path before it ceased. No explosion, no impact. Just a momentary light illuminating its path until it was swallowed by the ocean's darkness. Boreas simply sighed seeing such a lackluster result. It's not like he used a Death Ball to blow up a planet. But he still wanted to see some reaction. Sadly, that didn't happen.
Instead, Boreas shifted his attention elsewhere. Back toward the land in the distance. It was faint, but he could smell blood in the air. Scorch marks stretched across the thick ice as a result of many battles that took place.
But it was desolate nonetheless.
"Now it's beginning to make sense as to why I couldn't find any sort of life on this planet. It's on its last legs...", Boreas uttered to himself, only to shift his gaze to a different direction once again.
This time, it was the ocean's surface. It offered a reflection, allowing Boreas to get a good look at himself for the very first time.
It was an azure-blue Frost Demon. Frieza's body was mostly white with purple-gem-like bony structures placed around his body. For Boreas, it was the opposite. Azure-blue, and his gem-like protrusions were pure white. A stark contrast.
There was one thing to point out. Boreas already appeared in his "Final Form" state, just like Cooler's! It was scary how close he looked compared to Cooler. Right off the bat too.
And well, as to whether Boreas would create his own transformations from here on, that remains to be seen. He wanted to get off Planet Zero, and if possible, begin his own training and see what the world of DBZ had to offer for him!
Boreas was no longer bound by human constraints!

One difference: I had Boreas surface before launching his first Death Beam this time. Minor, but still a change.
