Chapter 37 - "Nami's Triple Haki."

"How do you feel?" Logan asked, his face alight with anticipation after the girls had finished eating.

"The wind! I can hear the wind outside!" Kaya was the first to exclaim, her voice full of surprise.

"Me too," Makino chimed in, her large eyes shining brightly.

"My senses are so much stronger than before."

The women offered their feedback in turn, each one marveling at the change.

"My hand! My hand turned black!" a sudden gasp rang out.

They all looked at Nami. Her normally fair hand was now pitch black.

"It's so hard," Nojiko reached out and squeezed it, but couldn't make it budge.

It felt exactly like a piece of steel.

Logan then used his Cloud Power, turning his arm into an elemental form. "Try this," he invited.

Nami immediately understood, reaching out to grasp Logan's arm. She wrapped her hand around it. "I actually grabbed it!"

Nami stared in disbelief at the cloud she held in her hand. She had genuinely grasped Logan's physical form.

"So that's how it works!"

The realization dawned on Tashigi, a moment late. She finally understood why Logan had been able to attack Smoker that day.

It was all because of Haki.

"If you all practice diligently from now on, both your Observation Haki and Armament Haki will become stronger and stronger."

"Nami, Tashigi, especially you two, you absolutely cannot slack off on your training. I need to see improvement from both of you by the time we reach the Grand Line," Logan said seriously.

Nami stuck out her tongue. "Got it."

"Captain, I will work hard," Tashigi replied with an equally earnest attitude. Logan had done so much for her; she absolutely would not fail his expectations.

Logan nodded in satisfaction. This push was a necessity. As they entered the Grand Line, they would encounter increasingly powerful foes, and they had to be aware of the danger. The entire crew couldn't rely on him alone.

"Kaya, Carmen, Makino, and Nojiko, you can follow your own pace. Just practice in your spare time; it will still benefit you."

The four women were not combat personnel and had clear roles in the pirate crew, so Logan wouldn't force them. They just needed enough power to defend themselves.

The four girls obediently nodded.

"Oh, and one more thing," Logan said, looking at Nami. "Nami, I'm going to find you alone tonight."

"Huh?" Nami checked the date, confused. "It's Wednesday, shouldn't we be playing 'Landlord' (a card game)?!"

At the mention of "Landlord," Nojiko and Makino instantly blushed and lowered their heads. They had no idea where Logan came up with so many games. Three people was called "Landlord." Four people was called "Mahjong." Six people was called "Gougeji" (a local Chinese card game). What would seven or eight people be called in the future?!

"I have serious business! What are you all thinking?!"

Logan put on a stern face and pretended to raise his hand, scaring the girls into quickly fleeing.

As they left, Kaya and the others gave Nami a knowing, teasing look. Perhaps Logan really did have serious business, but with a man and a beautiful woman like Nami alone in a room together, they didn't believe he would be that well-behaved.

Night gradually fell, and the moon hung high in the sky.

In Nami's room.

Logan gently pushed the door open.

As he entered, he saw Nami completely wrapped in her blanket, her face a mix of nervousness, apprehension, and panic.

Logan was speechless.

"How many times have I taught you? Do you really have to cover up as if you're guarding against a thief?!"

Nami remained silent, but her face grew even redder.

She then pulled down the blanket.

Logan's eyes immediately widened.

Why is she all dressed up in silk stockings?!

No wonder Nami was acting so unusual today. She must have bought this in Loguetown.

Who says my Nami only argues with me? This is quite thoughtful.

Logan walked over and playfully tapped Nami's nose. "How many sets did you buy?"

Nami lowered her head shyly and whispered, "A lot... all different styles... I have maid outfits and nurse uniforms too."

By the end, Nami's voice was as thin as a mosquito's buzz, barely audible even to Logan.

Well done. Very thorough preparation.

Nami had clearly figured out all of a man's little preferences.

"You need to teach Kaya and the others later. Their comprehension in this area is too slow," Nami complained, giving Logan a coy glance, but she still obediently nodded.

He wondered what it would be like for the proper lady Kaya to wear a maid outfit.

Ahem, getting off track.

"Logan, what was the 'serious business' you mentioned today?" Nami tried to suppress her eagerness to learn.

"We'll talk about that later. First, I'm going to teach you a new navigation technique: the 'Number Reversal Style.'"

With a beauty in his arms, Logan couldn't concern himself with anything else. He had to complete today's task first.

Four hours passed, as was their custom.

Unlike before, Logan had a new experience during this lesson. In addition to the silky surprises, Nami skillfully used the navigation techniques she had just mastered. Coupled with the assistance of the Hand of the Tide, it was, in a word, incredible.

"Now can you tell me what the actual business was?"

With a flash of Healing Power, Nami was fully recovered. Without using the Healing Power, she probably wouldn't even have the strength to speak right now.

Logan stopped teasing her and pulled out an Overlord Haki Devil Fruit. Unlike the previous two, this Devil Fruit was red.

"Another Devil Fruit?" Nami covered her mouth in surprise. Since joining the crew, she had already eaten three Devil Fruits—things many people would never see in their entire lives.

"Do you remember what I told you about Overlord Haki?"

Nami nodded, recalling carefully: "You said Overlord Haki is one in a million, and anyone who has it is a great leader."

"You also said that Overlord Haki can't be learned through training and can only be awakened spontaneously." Nami recounted Logan's exact words from before.

"Such a good memory," Logan said, pecking her cheek as a reward.

"Eat this, and you'll awaken Overlord Haki."

Nami didn't immediately take the Devil Fruit, instead asking cautiously, "Do my sisters have one?"

Logan shook his head. "This is just my favoritism toward you, got it?"

Nami wrinkled her nose, so touched she nearly shed tears.

But she pushed the Devil Fruit back. "If my sisters don't have one, I won't eat it either."

Logan looked at Nami in surprise, feeling a unique surge of emotion for her for the first time.

He then explained the real reason to Nami.

Only then did Nami eat the Devil Fruit without any further reservation.

With that, Nami had now awakened all three forms of Haki!
