Time passed the two grew distant, their affair became a distant past forgot and discarded like rubbish. Payne felt like rubbish. He loved Amanda, it sickened him to the core that she had chosen his brother over him but he could do nothing about that because every girl in town was head over heels for Ethan and Payne?
He was just a background character his brother's shadow.
He earned more than him, drove cars way more expensive than his and everything of his was way more than Ethan's. He got everthing he wanted but the one thing he desired the most slipped through his fingers.
He had her, Amanda was his but... unfortunately she was no longer his and so Payne packed his bags to leave. As he walked down the stairs to inform the lovers of his departure he overheard the most heart wrenching news ever. Amanda was... pregnant.
He listens in closer as he listened in from the door.
"We pregnant!" ,exclaimed Ethan holding what seemed to be a pregnancy test. Sitting on the bed next to him was Amanda, her hair beautifully untied. She was wearing a white shirt, and she had no make up on yet she was the most beautiful lady Payne had ever seen.
"YES WE ARE!", Amanda screamed with joy clinging onto Ethan.
'Disgusting", Payne thought, "how disgusting, she couldn't even wait for me to leave this house, ruthless.'
Ethan got off the bed looked for his slippers and shouted out for his brother.
"Brother,brother!, come see, my wife is pregnant, you are going to have a nephew!"
Payne froze, Ethan was coming and he had to find a way to get rid of the bags he was carring, or come up with some excuse...
'Too late', he winced.
"Brother I am leaving",Payne shouted as if he didn't hear hist brother's words just now.
"No,no you can leave Payne,didn't you just hear what I said?" Ethan questioned.
"Which is..?",Payne remarked with confusion etched on his face.
He was clearly pretending, he heard what he said.Long before he shouted,he knew what Ethan was going to repeat. Heartbreaking news,yes, Amanda's pregnancy was heartbreaking news. It didn't sit well with him at all.
"Amanda is pregnant!,she is pregnant with my son" ,Ethan smiled wide and looked at his brother, his happiness could be described as one of a child who just got a sweet from his favourite uncle.

Payne chased after Amanda,enjoying every moment. He laughed menacingly a he demanded Amanda to stop.
Amanda didn't stop she ran,faster and faster. However Payne knew she couldn't run for long. Suddenly she got a dead end.
The fear in her face was evident as she turned to face the coming threat.
'This place had no dead ends!', Fuck.. I am screwed', Amanda thought.
Payne approached her slowly,holding the knife tightly with one hand. His hands,clothes and hair were bloodied, Payne smiled and from at smile alone Amanda saw the bloodied teeth. No one got Payne,the animals didn't get a chance to scratch him when they attacked him..Amanda didn't set traps for him...
That meant one thing, Payne had eaten fleshes.
She thought of the stench that enveloped the maze house and how it would be impossible for her to eat any of that meat. At that thought she vomited at the foot of the approaching Payne.
Payne abruptly stopped,lifted his foot and shock off the barf. He had not said a word,just staring at Amanda with a deadly stare. His eyes drenched in hate,confusipn, amusement... Amanda couldn't quite place it.
She passed out.
'Wow, I was about to talk to her and she decided to sleep?, how rude', Payne thought as he lifted Amanda up,bridal style.
'She must be tired,oh and I have to get rid of that wench, she's making a lot of noise'
Payne smiled as he disappeared into the darkness.
....
"Amanda!", the lady who had been with Amanda shouted and she worriedly navigated the thin maze passages.
'I hope you safe my friend', she thought silently. The lady was Amanda's friend Tina.
She had been her friend since they were young. However Tina was always the shy one whereas Amanda was outgoing and bubbly. Tina loved Amanda and Amanda loved Tina no one could seperate them even if they tried or so they thought.
Not once in her life did Tina think of being separated from her friend by death so early. She thought she'd live to see Amanda in a bikini as an old lady,sitting by the pool sipping Margaritas whilst she sat in the house watching her as she knitted and read newspapers. Those dreams and visions were going to be crushed, because Payne was going to kill her.
She knew it and she was sure of it however she didn't know when.
She continued to walk,her feet hurt, her destination unknown. Her stomach grumbled as the journey seemed so long .
"Amanda...please scream if you can hear me!",Tina shouted as loud as she could yet she recieved no response, she continued down the passage by something felt off.
She could feel the presence of someone behind her yet every time she turned there was no one. Maybe she was scared she thought or she was just imagining it.
The person got closer and closer and suddenly it went dark.
She felt a sharp pain surge through her head as she tried to open her eyes to see the culprit, at hovering above her, was Payne smiling menacingly holding a sharp knife.
Her last thoughts were 'Amanda I tried, I am really sorry, I love you' and with that her life was gone. Payne struck her multiple times, noone stop until she looked like she could filter water. He looked at Tina and tilted his head and smirked,blood splattered all over his face, Payne licked the blood on his lips and said, "Finally...silence" and with that he left the body to decay and walked off.
'Let me go tend to my wife.
Laughter filled the maze house and Payne disappeared into its infinite passages.
