The voice coming from the owner of the compartment was calm—unnervingly so, given I'd just demolished her window and invaded her space like some deranged burglar.
That alone was enough that I'm not dealing with an average demon.

Ashy white hair fell in uneven strands past her shoulders, framing a pair of elegant antlers that curved upward like bare winter branches. Her upper body bore distinctly inhuman features, which was that she possessed four arms instead of two, each ending in clawed fingers that rested peacefully on her lap.
A long, bestial white tail coiled beside her, easily longer than her legs, its fur pristine despite the compartment's confines.
And her legs, by contrast, were perfectly normal—human-like and slender beneath the thin, flowing fabric of her easterner priestly robes.
