"Daddy!! Daddy!!! Carry me" a small voice shrieked loudly "Baby wants daddy to give her a piggy ride" a
matured voice said "Darling its lunch time" a mild voice called from a beautifully decorated house "Erica
it's time for lunch, daddy can't carry you again" Davis said carrying Erica to the house "But daddy you
promised me " Erica said frowning slightly "Don't worry lets go eat, mum has a good news for us" Davis
said while Erica widened her already big blue eyes in excitement "Really, Dad I can't wait to hear the
news" She said while Davis quickened his pace.
* During Lunch*
"Erica do you like the shrimps?" Aria asked her daughter who was busy munching the grilled shrimp
"Mmmhm, mum I love it" Erica replied not lifting her gaze from the shrimp "Your dad bought these
delicious shrimps from the wolf market" Aria said smiling while looking at her husband who smiled back
at her "And your mum turned it to the most delicious shrimp I've ever had " Davis commented
"Mummy, Daddy told me that you wanted to tell us a good news" the curious Erica said as Aria smiled knowingly "Erica do you want a baby brother?" Aria asked smiling "I would love it, Mummy do you want
to give me a baby brother?" Erica replied excited at the thought of having a baby brother "Yes and I'm
sure you'll love him "Aria replied "But how would that be possible?" Erica asked staring at her parents
"Baby, your mum is pregnant and will be expecting a baby soon" Davis answered the curious girl who
widened her eyes in awe "Mummy, you're gonna have a baby ,wow I'm going to be a sister very soon
and Daddy is going to be a father while mummy is going to be a mother" "I'll have someone to call me
sister Erica" Erica said smiling widely while her parents laughed heartily while clutching their stomachs.
* Eight Years later*
" Aaa--ah-----daddy you scared me" the teenage chubby girl shrieked " why are you scared?, come on
lets go and check on your mum" Davis tugged Erica's arm " But, I can't leave Brian alone, he is still
tender if anything happens to him I won't forgive myself" Erica refused looking at her brother who was
sleeping peacefully on the cot "Don't worry, nothing will happen to him o-- --" "Aa--a -ah" a sharp
scream pierced through the forest "Mummy, that's Mummy's voice, daddy lets go check on her" the
frightened Erica said as the two figures hurried away leaving the tender prince on the cot.

" Aria!! Aria!!! What happened to you ?, who did this to you?" Davis asked as fresh tears spilled from his eyes "Davis ,I'm sorry---" Aria who was covered in smoke replied almost choking "Aria who did this to
you?" asked almost shouting " it's the Rykan king, Davis please leave" Aria said as Davis face darkened as
he looked up to see the beast coming towards their direction "Davis go, take care of Erica and Brian.
Please leave, I love you Davis" Aria pleaded with her husband who paid deaf ears to her pleas and heads
for the beast "Davis pls come ba--ck" "Mummy!! Mummy!!!" Erica shouted as she shakes her mum
vigorously "Erica go away take care of Brian, don't worry about mummy and daddy" she said as she
looks at the beast who had already torn Davis into shreds and was coming to their direction ready to
devour another soul "Mummy, I don't want to leave you behind don't worry you'll be fine" she said
tearfully as Aria touched her chubby cheeks for the last time "Mummy loves you, daddy loves you, take
care of Brian, take your studies seriously and don't go close to any alpha blood" Aria said as she smiled
at her daughter before letting go "Mummy!! Mummy!!! Please don't leave me" Erica cried, her parents
were gone leaving her alone "mum I promise, I would never let you guys down" she said rising to her
feet as she turned to see a man dressed in black," maybe that was her parents murderer" she thought as
she sneaked out of the area and headed for her home. "She would surely take her revenge on her
parents murderer, even if it meant crossing her lane".
