EARTH: One Year After the World Reset
I stood in front of the towering glass building and slowly exhaled.
The automatic doors reflected a young woman dressed in her best interview clothes, a neatly organized folder clutched tightly against her chest, and a smile that looked far more confident than I actually felt.
"You can do this."
I nodded to myself.
"I survived four years of college. One interview can't possibly be harder than finals."
The words sounded convincing enough.
Mostly.
Maybe.
I looked back up at the building stretching high into the morning sky.
A year ago, graduating had felt impossibly far away. Between juggling part-time jobs, scholarships, endless assignments, and surviving on instant noodles far more often than any healthy person should, there had been plenty of moments where giving up would've been easier.
But...
I made it.
Computer Engineering.
Degree complete.
Now all I needed was a decent job.
Easy.
...Hopefully.
