Dr Wilson noticed how thoughtful she suddenly became. "Anything, bothering you, you'd like to share?"
Ava's brows flickered. "No-None too serious, my mind been to heavy to think straight."
Dr Wilson didn't push, and he wished he had reasons to. He loved her to want to take away her burden. Sometimes, he wasn't sure if he was obsessed.
I'll be here if you need to talk." He patted her back, and he felt her shoulder stiffen.
Oh Ava! He wondered, What would it feel like, wrapping you around my arms.
Returning his attention to Dr Lian,
"She needs to sign two consent forms, and that would be all we need to begin the surgery tomorrow. I'll go check up on Alfred."
Dr Lian nodded.
"I'll get the forms ready." He followed after Dr Wilson, and they both headed out of the room. Ava stared blankly after them. She hadn't felt so hazed in a very long time. She had too little space to think about other matters that wasn't her Alfred.
