Marcus was left to decide if he wanted to still sit and wait for Ava, walk through the hospital's entrance, or drive out, from the hospital to the peace of his condo to mind his business. He needed a night of dreamless sleep.

She looked like... Marcus searched for an adjective. His mind, trying to form words, best describing who he saw at Sonia's office.
