Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Skull and Bones Society, Destroyed

Each of them possessed A-Class strength, and the combination of Dark Magic, sound wave magic, and their ghostly characteristics made it impossible for Kasha and the Evil Spirit Twins to defend against.

Furthermore, they fought without fear of death, constantly exchanging injuries.

Finally, a Worgen took advantage of Kasha's magic depletion and physical exhaustion, opening its maw and biting her throat.

Kasha didn't even have time to struggle; she could only watch as her head was torn from her body, her headless corpse spraying blood as it fell straight to the ground.

Seeing Kasha's tragic state, the Evil Spirit Twins were filled with grief and indignation.

But their anger could not change the situation; instead, it only made the Worgens more excited.

In extreme anger and despair, Kaka Dong attempted to cast one last spell, intending to perish with the Worgens.

Ink-black magic surged from his body, and an evil, eerie aura spread.

However, before his magic could be completed, two Worgens swarmed him, pinning him to the ground, tearing off all his limbs and head, as blood trickled and seeped into the earth.

Kaka Bei, witnessing his brother's tragic death, felt his heart turn to ashes.

A Worgen appeared silently behind him, its sharp claws piercing directly through Kaka Bei's chest, splattering blood mixed with fragments of internal organs and bones onto the ground.

Kaka Bei's corpse lay on the ground, eyes wide, blood gushing from his mouth and nose.

At this point, Kasha and the Evil Spirit Twins, under the siege of six Shadow Worgens, finally met their demise.

Only the triumphant howls of the Worgens remained on the battlefield, along with the gradually dissipating dark magic and bloody scent.

Ezreal looked at the scene before him, a slight smile playing on his lips.

This battle was destined from the start.

"Clean up, and bring the bodies over," Ezreal ordered with a smile.

Three Worgens exploded into a cloud of black smoke, flying towards Ezreal with a mournful whoosh, swirling and plunging into his shadow, disappearing.

The other three Worgens brought Kasha and the Evil Spirit Twins' bodies, respectfully placing them at Ezreal's feet.

Then, the three Worgens bowed to Ezreal, their bodies exploding into three clouds of black smoke that flew into his shadow and lay in wait.

Kasha's neck had been completely eaten by the Worgen, and now her head was simply pieced back together with her body by the Worgen.

Kaka Dong's body was even more mangled, with bite marks on all his limbs and head, barely reassembled into a human shape.

Only Kaka Bei's body was relatively intact, with just a large hole in his chest.

Ezreal took a small camera from his pocket, took a photo of the three bodies, and then took a few more photos of the other bodies and the castle behind them.

These photos were for reporting to the Magic Council.

Ezreal had no intention of handing over the bodies of the Dark Guild members after wiping them out; these were all excellent consumables.

So, before he set off, he bought a small camera to use photos as evidence of his extermination of the Skull Gang.

"Dinner time."

Ezreal crouched down, green light glowing from his hands, and pressed them onto Kasha and Kaka Dong's heads.

Not long after, Ezreal opened his eyes with satisfaction, while the two bodies gradually turned into green mist, eventually condensing into two eyeball-sized green orbs of light which Ezreal collected.

Ezreal walked to Kaka Bei's body again, green light glowing in his hand as he pressed it onto the body's head, refining it into a green energy orb and placing it into his pocket.

With the three A-Class Mages dealt with, Ezreal walked towards the other bodies, performing Life Alchemy on them one by one.

He completely refined the bodies and souls, collecting green energy orbs one by one.

These orbs, containing life energy, soul energy, and magic, were referred to as philosopher's stone in the records of Life Alchemy.

The form of the philosopher's stone had no strict requirements.

As long as Ezreal wished, he could shape the philosopher's stone into any form.

However, Ezreal found the spherical shape more pleasing to the eye, like refining elixirs.

After about half an hour, Ezreal finally finished clearing the battlefield.

Besides refining all members of the Skull Gang into philosopher's stone, Ezreal also obtained all of the Skull Gang's property from the castle.

In addition to cash, there were also some magic items.

Among them were some valuable items, such as the Skull Staff used by Kasha, the guild master, which was a relatively high-grade staff specifically for Undead Mages.

It was inscribed with some Undead Magic and an Undead Mage's magic crystal, within which resided an evil spirit.

Ezreal had no use for it; he planned to refine it all.

Kasha and the Evil Spirit Twins' magic and magical power were quite compatible with the Shadow Worgens.

The magic of the other Skull Gang members was more varied, consisting of common spells, nothing particularly rare.

In addition, Ezreal also acquired some magic books and magic training notes.

There was no profound or lost magic, only common spells.

They were not very useful, so Ezreal collected them all, intending to take them back to the guild and place them in the library for those who needed them.

These were tangible gains, but Ezreal also had some very useful intangible gains this time.

As the guild master of the Skull Gang, Kasha knew many Dark Guild contact methods and strongholds.

Among them was the contact information for the Skull Gang's direct superior, Grimoire Heart, but unfortunately, Grimoire Heart's main forces were all on an airship, their location uncertain and their movements elusive, making it impossible to pinpoint their position.

Besides this, Kasha also knew of several Dark Guilds whose strength was not much different from the Skull Gang's, including the Eisenwald Guild, which, at the very beginning of the main quest, was trying to cause trouble with the magic flute Lalabay.

"Eisenwald..." Ezreal stroked his chin, falling into thought.

He was actually quite interested in this guild; although he already knew its stronghold's location, he didn't want to go there just yet.

At the beginning of the anime's original story, the guild masters of the legitimate guilds were summoned by the Council for their annual meeting.

The Eisenwald Guild, with the magic flute Lalabay, intended to use the death curse song to wipe out all the legitimate guild masters in one fell swoop.

Although the death curse was ultimately not released, the demon Lalabay did come to life and was only defeated by the combined efforts of Natsu Grey and Erza.

Its combat performance was indeed a bit lacking, but its strength was still considerable.

If Ezreal remembered correctly, Lalabay's true form was also a withered tree demon.

From a property perspective, it was quite compatible with the Fire Crown Treant.

Although the Life Alchemy that Ezreal mastered could fuse different lives, it was not without limits.

Different attributes would conflict with each other.

For example, a fire magic beast and a water magic beast; when these two magic beasts are refined, their two opposing magical powers fuse together.

If the magical balance of these two magic beasts is not handled properly, they can only explode and die.

Or, if the physical body after fusion is not strong enough, there may be instances of physical collapse later on.

These are relatively common problems.
