Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

[Name: Ebara Age: 18 Chakra: 91 Attribute: Wind Stamina: 39 Strength: 45 Speed: 40 Agility: 51 Spirit: 26 Ninjutsu: Clone Jutsu, Substitution Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu, Wind Style: Vacuum Bullet Genjutsu: None Taijutsu: Thousand Years of Death, Old Lady Under the Blanket, Crow on a Plane]

Stamina represents durability. Higher stamina means you're tougher and have better endurance. Speed represents attack speed and hand-sign speed. Agility represents physical nimbleness. Higher agility means better dodging of enemy attacks. Strength represents raw power. Higher strength means greater destructive force. Ebara's ability to escape Tsunade's pursuit was thanks to his high agility. Spirit represents willpower. Higher spirit means better resistance to genjutsu and easier learning of genjutsu.

"System, my base stats are way too low, aren't they?"

Ebara complained.

[Adult base stats are around 40, with a maximum of 100!]

Hearing the system's explanation, Ebara felt a bit better.

"So, my stats aren't half bad."

"Especially agility, which is 11 points above average."

"But my spirit stat is pathetic—only 26."

"As expected of me, a 21st-century youth with a strong body but a broken will."

Ebara shook his head.

"Wait, my chakra is 91?"

"Could it be... I have Hashirama's physique, with infinite chakra?"

Ebara's eyes gleamed.

[Chakra maximum is 100,000!]

Ebara felt like he'd been struck by lightning.

A maximum of 100,000, and he's at 91!

This wasn't just bad—it was catastrophic.

There's a perfect term for him now: bottom-tier scrub!

[Generally, genin chakra ranges from 1–100, chunin from 100–1,000, jonin from 1,000–10,000, Kage-level from 10,000–30,000.] [God-level is 30,000–50,000, Six Paths-level is 50,000–80,000, Otsutsuki-level is 80,000–100,000!]

"So I really am just genin-level."

Ebara grudgingly accepted it.

Next was the matter of distributing his 5 free attribute points.

He quickly decided to put them all into speed.

Among the five base stats, speed offered the best value.

Speed boosts didn't just increase attack speed—they also improved hand-sign speed.

Attack speed was one thing, but hand-sign speed was critical.

In many battles, victory hinged on who could form signs faster.

The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, didn't need hand signs, you think?

He'd clap his hands, and boom—whatever he wanted appeared.

That was the result of maxing out speed.

"Clone Jutsu!"

Ebara tested his hand signs.

Before, casting Clone Jutsu took him two seconds.

Now, it was a tenth of a second faster.

Plus, his hands felt noticeably lighter.

"Wait a sec."

"Speed boost... doesn't that also mean hand speed boost?"

Ebara stared at his hands, as if a new world had opened before him.

But he quickly straightened his expression.

"Overuse it, and it'll burn to ash."

"Young and reckless, you'll regret it when you're old and crying over... that."

The thought had barely crossed his mind when another followed.

"Captain, let me lead the boys for one more charge!"

"I'm not ready yet!!!"

...

After a short nap at noon, Ebara hurried back to the Ninja Academy.

After all, the kids still had afternoon classes.

But he didn't dare strut in openly.

Who knew if Tsunade was waiting for him?

Better squat in the bushes for a bit and scope things out.

Ebara crouched, butt sticking out, in the grass by the academy's wall.

Suddenly, a small face appeared before him—Uchiha Mikoto, from the Uchiha clan.

The future mother of the "one-against-seven" (Itachi) and the second pillar (Sasuke).

She was only four years old now.

"Teacher Ebara, what are you doing here alone?"

Mikoto asked innocently.

"What do you think?"

"You're here to poop, right?"

Ebara: "..."

He gestured for Uchiha Mikoto to crouch down.

"Mikoto, after I left this morning, did Tsunade come back?"

Ebara whispered.

"She did."

"But she stormed off in a rage."

"Teacher Ebara, are you scared of Princess Tsunade?"

Mikoto asked innocently.

"Ha?"

A disdainful smile crossed Ebara's face. "Me, scared of her?"

"Mikoto, you might not know this."

"Your teacher is super awesome now."

"Really?"

A chilling voice sounded behind Ebara.

The moment he heard it, Ebara broke out in a cold sweat.

Because the voice belonged to none other than Tsunade.

Crack crack crack...

Like a puppet on strings, Ebara stiffly turned his head.

There she was, Tsunade, her face full of fury: "You just said you're super awesome, huh?"

"Who said that?"

"Not me."

"Mikoto, was it you?"

"I've told you so many times, don't spread nonsense outside."

"It'll ruin my reputation, you know?"

With a slick move, Ebara shifted the blame onto Uchiha Mikoto.

Mikoto's little face was one big question mark.

She had no idea how she'd suddenly taken the fall.

"Don't do it again."

"I'll have to talk to your parents."

"Are they home right now...?"

Ebara pretended to lecture Mikoto while pulling her along, trying to slip away.

But his little scheme?

How could it fool Tsunade, who knew him inside and out?

Bang—

The academy's ten-meter-long wall collapsed with a boom.

Ebara immediately froze.

"Let's have a chat."

"About us."

Tsunade's voice was ice-cold.

"Teacher Ebara, do you want to calm Princess Tsunade down?"

Mikoto whispered to Ebara.

"Of course!"

"You saw how violent she is."

Ebara was sweating buckets.

"I've got a great idea."

"Come closer."

Mikoto beckoned with her little hands.

Ebara, desperate and out of options, crouched down.

Mikoto slipped a piece of candy into his hand and whispered, "Teacher Ebara, do this..."

Ebara's eyes lit up as he listened.

He thought to himself, Well, damn.

"Mikoto, I owe you one."

Ebara strode up to Tsunade.

"Trying to apologize?"

"One piece of candy isn't enough."

Tsunade glanced at the candy in Ebara's hand, unimpressed.

"One piece? Of course not. But what about imported candy?"

"Imported candy?"

"Exactly."

Ebara nodded, popped Mikoto's candy into his mouth, and swiftly leaned in to kiss Tsunade on her red lips, passing the candy into her mouth.

"This... is imported candy!"
