visible a rolling figure now the leaf falls to the ground and a second later it
gets squished by a rolling egg, the egg falls into a river and gets washed by
the current far away miraculously evading rocks and stuff,
Hello, I am just a regular guy who likes playing video games
and watching anime. When i get into a game i get really into it like I become
almost a pro at it I might not be the best but i can probably solo most bosses
using the characters i like and weapons or skills i like one day i was playing
this brand new very hard soulslike game and when i was about to beat the final
boss i got flash banged or something i felt like i was playing cod.
Then I felt weird, like I got in a mud bath. Did I die? I
probably passed out from the light because my room was pretty dark. The sudden
light made me pass out or something. I can't open my eyes or hear anything. Maybe
I can open my eyes. I felt something rubbing against me. Is that a towel? I can
sense light, but I cannot open my eyes. Why am I crying? I can't stop crying;
this feels uncomfortable. I'll just try to sleep.
A few days have passed since I can now open my eyes and make
noises; it seems I have been reborn, so I had a heart attack or maybe epilepsy.
It seems I can't understand the language my parents speak. I was never good at
learning new languages; that's why I watch dubbed anime, but it seems I don't
have a choice now.
A few months have passed, I can now crawl and go everywhere
I want in the house, but I'm scared of stairs, so I won't go to the attic
anytime soon. I don't want to fall and die again. I see my parents less now
that I don't need that much attention. I mostly sleep all day and look out the
window. My mom and dad go outside a lot more often. My dad comes home before dusk,
and my mom stays near the house.
Now I'm older, I can walk a bit and understand this new
place better. My dad is good with swords and magic. I've seen him training
outside with some wood dummies, and my mother seems to be mostly good with
magic. I haven't seen her use a sword, but I have seen her practice some magic,
especially healing Father after he comes from a hunt with his friends. So maybe
I can use magic someday, also I've seen what appears to be demi-humans like people
with tails and fur and animal ears they are very cool my dad has some nice
friends like a big orc guy, a dog lady, and a guy that looks like a cat ninja my
mom on the other hand has a white hair human lady, a snake lady, and a pretty female
elf friend They have more friends but
those are the ones I see more often.
A while has passed now, I understand a bit of the language, and
I'm going to start school soon. I've only been to the backyard until now. How
do I know I'm going to school? Well my parents gave me a bag with lots of stuff
and food and have been trying to teach me words so either they sending me to
survive in the woods or to school I hope they sending me to school, i see some
other families with other kids walking, my dad and mom hold my hands while we
walk, we reach a huge building, they talk to a beautiful young demi human like
a cat lady and just say something and wave goodbye then they leave. Now what? The
lady shows me her hand. I grab it and start walking with the cat lady, and we
reach a classroom with a bunch of other kids. I don't understand too much of
this language still, but I'll do my best, Mom and Dad. I take a seat in the
back of the classroom and start checking what's on my backpack while everyone
is doing their thing making friends I believe, some random kid at the middle
right area of the classroom starts making psst noises while looking at me and he's
even waving at me to get close I try to ignore it but he keeps trying to get my
attention so I look at him and then lean closer he says come join us then I
think we'll I guess it's good to make friends, I take an unoccupied seat next
to him and he become my first friend I also meet a cute cat girl, a lizard kid
and an orc girl they are pretty nice.
A while has passed; I can now write basic stuff and read
pretty well. I'm not that good at speaking, but I can imitate. I also made a
few more friends, including a big dog kid, and a snake girl wholoves reading this
books about vampires and ghosts it's pretty good about supernatural stuff, and
the new lizard kid loves sports, my first friend, the dog kid, is pretty cool
he likes books about slaying demons.
A few years have passed this new world is huge there are
many different races that speak different languages, even demons and monsters.
This is a very dangerous world, but we are safe here on this island, only low-ranking
monsters. The island name is Encanto. Also, people on this island and in some
other countries have a rank system like a video game, but it's mostly ranked by
experts once you show your skills. For example someone can be good with the
sword and have good rank on that depending on the skill, also there are monster
ranked by how dangerous they might be so we all get a book about dangerous
monsters and how to defend ourselves, and you can also apparently seal them in
this crystal's that work converting the monster into electricity and you can
keep the creature, monster, human, or humanoid in a PC by placing the crystal
in a special sot, rearer crystals can even capture really powerful beings like
a demon lord or they can choose to go in the crystal willingly legends say a
big powerful dragon got trapped by his best friend during a war because he was
already sync with the crystal and no one knew of the dragon or his friend ever
since. The crystals come from the holy trees, but apparently the trees are huge
and very dangerous, lots have lost their lives near it and inside it apparently
you can go inside to get rearer crystal's the trees have like a defense system
if you go inside the tree defenses will eat you I would like to see the trees but
it's too dangerous and off limits not even monsters dare to go near it. Also,
there are gods, demons, and even a demon lord and a supreme god that created
this whole universe. But wanna know the best thing? I'm gonna learn how to
fight in a few days, and I'll get to choose a weapon and what I want to be
trained with. The only downside is that the school only has a few high master
rank teachers, but it's gonna be fun, I can learn more in other countries if I
want.
Today I went to the beach with my parents, and I went
exploring a bit and found a big shiny rock in the sand. It's heavy, so I just
rolled it a bit and took it to dad. My mom yelled, "Get away! My dad looked and
rushed to me. He jumped and pulled me away from my rock. I asked what's going
on, my dad said, "That's a monster egg! In a very worried/scared voice I've
never seen my parents so scared they rushed to protect me and started looking
everywhere and backed away, my mom sed lets go home and we rushed home, my
parents were adventurers in a big city they left when i was born, my parents
where arguing what to do It could be a high level monster egg so if they
destroyed it it might get the parents angry looking for it so they decided to
capture it when it was born, so after watching it for a few days they brought
it to our land not to far from home but i went to see it from time to time also
they didn't tell anyone to not make anyone panic my parents can handle a baby
monster. Once it's born, they can capture it in the crystal once it's born so
it doesn't need food or water, cool, right?
A few days have passed now, and I can choose what I can
train for… what should I pick? While i walk to the gym with everyone else to
get tested and choose a skill and a weapon i tink what do i want to do here i
haven't thought about it i heard some of the others say they want to be holly
knights, magic casters, or adventurers but what do i want to be I don't want
something like everyone else i want something fun something different something
not op or meta, now its my turn… so many options… I really like the magic
teacher, so maybe something she can teach me… I got it! Link burst! It says I
can borrow power from my allies to get stronger. No one else chose this cool
skill. I wonder why I'll also get the battle axe, it looks cool like a Viking, I
can also use it long range, so it's perfect!
When i get home i go tell my parents they look unimpressed
by my skill they say its not very useful because it consumes energy for both me
and party member just to use it but i don't mind, few weeks passed mother and
father rushed outside i also get my bag and run after them, i see them standing
in front of the glowing barn animals going crazy near by my mom starts looking
in her bag while my dad stands with his sword on guard, the egg starts shaking
and boom baby claw and then another and in just a few seconds fire everywhere
my mom yelling i can't find it! Oh no, I took Mom's backpack. I start looking
for something to give Mom and find a crystal. I ran from behind the tree I was
hiding in and trow it, yelling Mom!
I threw it too hard, and it fell in the barn, covered by
fire; it started to glow inside the barn. Now the fire ceased. Dad just runs to
turn off the rest of the fire, Mom helping, and I'm just there watching, worried
and scared…
After a few minutes mom comes out and walks towards me,
scared, I say sorry… Mom says Don't worry, dear, I'm not mad. Here, this is
yours now. Take care of it, and hands me the crystal.
The next day, I take it to school, the beast tamer teacher
appraises the crystal and says it's a rare blood crystal dragon. Now I go to
that class every day, he says I can only let him out in the backyard, after that
I feed him lots of meat, he's a beautiful and very shiny dragon. I'll name him
Colgate because of that beautiful smile of his. Now he's growing strong every
day.
Few years passed we are both stronger now i also learned how
to use some of colgate power with link burst I knew it was a cool skill, we are
about to graduate and we can leave the island it's gonna be so cool to get my
flight license from the academy and fly colgate somewhere else than from home
to school we've been in so many adventures trough the island and meet so many
people and low level monsters.
Today I graduated, mom is crying happy tears, and dad is
holding the tears like a champ.
Days later, it's time to leave home. I say goodbye to mom
and dad and pack some provisions. Don't worry, Mom and Dad will come back
someday, then I run to Colgate and fly north towards the city my parents were
born in.
