Chapter 56 - Dragon

"Escape!"

As a black-hearted, cunning businessman who had been floating in the business world for forty years, although his confidence was somewhat shattered, he quickly regained his composure.

Without continuing the fight, Obadiah directly controlled Iron Monger to transfer all its energy to the jet propulsion devices on its feet.

That's right, he was going to escape.

He was no match for that boy, and Tony Stark was also there; there was no hope of winning now.

As long as he wasn't caught now, even if the evidence of kidnapping Tony Stark was conclusive, he still had ways to protect himself.

He had cooperated with the government for so many years, and many senators and high-ranking Military officials had deep connections with him.

Moreover, if he was willing to provide Iron Monger's technology to the Military, the Military would surely go to great lengths to protect him.

"Mr. Son, I'm from S.H.I.E.L.D., a friend of Professor X. Please help me catch that guy; he's a heinous villain!"

Seeing Obadiah about to escape, Coulson immediately shouted to Mr. Son.

Mr. Son, who hadn't originally intended to continue the pursuit, tilted his head upon hearing Coulson's words and used Apparition to teleport above Iron Monger.

"Get down!"

A full-powered kick landed squarely on the head of the already airborne Iron Monger.

"Boom!"

With another loud bang, Iron Monger crashed heavily into the center of the street, its mechanical parts scattered everywhere, completely scrapped.

And the fate of Obadiah inside was unknown.

Given Mr. Son's personality, if an opponent who challenged him surrendered and fled, he generally wouldn't pursue them relentlessly.

Unless that person was truly heinous.

But since it was a friend of Professor X, someone from S.H.I.E.L.D., asking for his help to catch a villain, that was another matter.

Black Widow of S.H.I.E.L.D. had treated him to a big meal and helped him find Professor X, so he had a good impression of Black Widow.

"Take him away!"

Seeing Iron Monger blown up by Mr. Son, Coulson immediately ordered his Agents to go forward and take Obadiah away.

Then he quickly came before the landed Mr. Son and extended his hand.

"Hello, Mr. Son, my name is Coulson. I'm Natasha's colleague. Thank you for your help to S.H.I.E.L.D."

Now that Mr. Son had been found, Iron Monger was no longer the priority. The focus now was to stabilize Mr. Son and find a way to invite him back to S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Hello, uncle!"

Mr. Son politely extended his hand, nodded, and asked, "Are the Professor and the others doing well?"

"They are very well. Our Director wants to meet you. I wonder if you have time?"

Coulson probed.

Mr. Son blinked, "Is your Director very strong?"

"Our Director... he's very... very smart."

Coulson was momentarily stunned by Mr. Son's question. If he said strong, their Director was certainly strong among ordinary people.

But compared to Mr. Son, who could single-handedly blow up Iron Monger, it was naturally not worth mentioning.

"Oh, then I don't have time this time. Maybe next time."

Mr. Son instantly lost interest in meeting the Director.

His purpose in coming this time was to use the Dragon Balls to revive the soldiers who had died because of him.

After he finished, he would begin new training.

Perhaps when he returned to this world in a year to collect the Dragon Balls again, he would go to meet that Director.

But certainly not now.

Coulson did not continue to persuade him. He had already reported the situation here to the Director, and a more suitable person would soon come to persuade Mr. Son.

"Although I could have handled it myself, I still appreciate your help."

At this moment, Tony Stark also descended from the sky, opened his helmet, and thanked Mr. Son with his head held high.

He had wanted to help earlier, but Mr. Son acted too quickly, giving him no chance to intervene.

His Mark III armor was certainly more powerful than Iron Monger, but the Arc Reactor had been replaced, and the energy was too low.

If this boy hadn't appeared to help, he really might not have been able to defeat Iron Monger.

So, deep down, he was certainly very grateful to this boy, and he noted this favor.

However, as the esteemed Iron Man, head of Stark Industries, and the world's most talented scientist, admitting to being saved by a small boy was still a bit difficult for him.

"No need to thank me. That guy was too weak; it didn't take much effort."

Mr. Son waved his hand dismissively.

He was telling the truth; Iron Monger was indeed very weak in his eyes. He had defeated it easily without even using Dodon Ray or Kamehameha.

Iron Monger's strength and defense were decent, but its speed was too slow.

Let alone him, even Yamcha and Krillin could easily deal with it.

Tony's mouth twitched upon hearing this. If Iron Monger was weak, then did that mean Iron Man was also weak?

However, compared to the boy in front of him, the Mark III armor he had created indeed seemed insignificant.

Lies don't hurt people; the truth is a sharp knife.

At this moment, Tony secretly resolved to upgrade the Mark III armor again and create a new suit that could defeat the boy in front of him.

What was that boy's name again? Oh, right, Wukong.

Then the name of the new armor would be provisionally set as "Anti-Wukong Armor."

"This spot is good; let's do it here!"

Mr. Son looked around. Because of the recent battle, everyone on this street had moved away, clearing a large section of the road.

He took out the box Dumbledore had given him, reached inside, and pulled out the seven Dragon Balls one by one, arranging them on the ground.

"Mr. Son, more and more people are gathering here. We should leave here first... What are you doing?"

Coulson saw the fleeing passersby gradually gathering again and was about to persuade Mr. Son to leave to avoid complications if he was exposed.

But then he saw Mr. Son pull out seven crystal balls, each larger than his palm, from a small, palm-sized box.

"Is it magic again?"

Tony's eyes widened at the sight.

According to scientific explanation, that box must have used spatial folding technology; otherwise, how could it hold seven crystal balls larger than itself?

But even he hadn't mastered spatial folding technology, so how could this boy have it?

So he thought it must be some kind of magic, just like when the boy had previously turned miniature missiles into balloons.

Speaking of those balloons, he later saw them turn back into miniature missiles and fall to the ground, which further indicated it was magic.

"I'm going to summon the Dragon. Everyone, step back a bit."

Mr. Son arranged the seven Dragon Balls, made the bewildered Coulson and Tony step back several paces, and then shouted loudly towards the seven Dragon Balls, "Come forth, Eternal Dragon!"

"What is he shouting?"

Coulson and Tony exchanged glances. The language Mr. Son had just shouted was not English; it was a language they had never heard before.

However, the next second, they were completely stunned.

Not just them, but all the citizens of New York were stunned.

Because a dark cloud suddenly appeared in the sky, followed by lightning and thunder. The seven crystal balls began to glow, transforming into a giant green dragon that appeared above New York.

"What… what is this place?"

As soon as the Eternal Dragon appeared, he immediately sensed that something was wrong.

It wasn't the environment below that was wrong, but he felt that the world was wrong; this didn't seem to be his original world.

As a wish-granting dragon, although he was created by the Kami, his essence was the manifestation of the world's power of wishes.

And because he was created by the Kami, he also had a place in the divine system.

Therefore, he could sense that he was no longer in his original world.

"Eternal Dragon, Eternal Dragon, I want to make a wish!"

Goku shouted loudly at the Eternal Dragon.

The Eternal Dragon lowered his head and looked at Goku:

"Alright, tell me your wish, and I will do my best to grant it."

Not being in his original world, he didn't know if his abilities would still work, but as a wish-granting Eternal Dragon, his duty was to fulfill one wish for the person who collected the seven dragon balls.

So he could only try his best.

"I want to revive the soldiers who died because I turned into a Great Ape!"

 Goku shouted his wish loudly.

A red glow emanated from the Eternal Dragon's eyes, and after a moment, he replied:

"Your wish has been granted!"

He wasn't sure if his abilities still worked in this world, but he could certainly tell if they had an effect after being activated.

When he activated his abilities, he felt interference, but the interference disappeared shortly after, and the abilities were successfully cast normally.

"I should go."

With the wish granted, his mission was over.

The Eternal Dragon transformed back into seven dragon balls, shooting out in all directions.

At this moment, Goku leaped up, and with lightning speed, intercepted four of them, including Grandpa's Four-Star dragon radar.

"This way, next time I only need to collect the remaining three."

He put the four dragon balls, which had turned into ordinary stones, back into the box.

After doing all this, he ran to the corner of Stark Tower, then leaned against the wall and closed his eyes.

Having revived the soldiers he had killed, he now needed a good rest and to enter a new world for training.

"Mr. Son, what… what just happened?"

It was only at this moment that Coulson and Tony and the others reacted. Coulson quickly looked at Goku.

He wanted to ask what was going on with that creature that suddenly appeared, resembling an Eastern giant dragon, and why it disappeared again.

However, he then widened his eyes again:

"Mr. Stark, did I see wrong? He disappeared?"

"You didn't see wrong, he disappeared!"

Tony wanted to rub his eyes, but he was still wearing the Iron Man Suit and couldn't make that movement.

"Magic, it must be magic."

Although he said that, his intuition told him that what Goku used was definitely not as simple as magic.

"Coulson, right? You seem to know a lot about him?"

"Mr. Son is a friend of our S.H.I.E.L.D.. If you want to know about him, you can ask our Director yourself," Coulson replied, calming his emotions.

"Your Director?"

Tony raised an eyebrow:

"Then arrange a time for us to meet."

"No problem, but before that, we need to deal with the aftermath. Your identity as Iron Man cannot be exposed. Afterwards, we will hold a press conference for you, and you will need to…"

Coulson took a deep breath, while beginning to arrange the wrap-up work for Tony Stark, and at the same time, reported what happened here to Director Nick Fury again.

"Summoned a giant dragon with a crystal ball, and then it disappeared. Could everything he said be true?"

In the Director's office at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Nick Fury's expression changed several times after reading the intelligence from Coulson.

He attached great importance to the intelligence about Goku.

Because according to current investigations, Goku and that Great Ape had an inseparable relationship, and it was highly probable that they were the same person.

Therefore, he watched all the information reported by Black Widow repeatedly many times.

He also carefully analyzed Goku's recounted experiences.

This included collecting seven dragon balls and summoning the Eternal Dragon to make a wish.

According to Black Widow, that was probably a child's fairy tale fantasy, like the story of Aladdin's lamp.

But currently, it seemed that it might not truly be a fairy tale fantasy.

After all, the seven dragon balls and the Eternal Dragon had already appeared.

So, what kind of wish did Goku make?

"Director, I have important intelligence to report…"

Just as he was sitting in his chair analyzing the intelligence sent by Coulson, the office door was suddenly pushed open.

Agent Hill rushed in:

"Director, all the soldiers killed by the Great Ape in New Mexico have been revived…"

"What!"

Nick Fury instantly stood up from his chair.

Now, he finally knew what kind of wish Goku had made.

He walked back and forth in the office a few steps, then quickly dialed Coulson's phone:

"Coulson, fully block all information about Goku and the Eternal Dragon. Get Stark to cooperate and say that the Eternal Dragon is a hologram developed by Stark Industries…"

After giving the order to Coulson, he then said to Hill:

"Mobilize all forces, and at all costs, you must find Goku and those seven dragon balls for me!"

Making a wish to the Eternal Dragon could fulfill any desire. He dared not imagine the sensation and upheaval it would cause if this information were known to various countries and major organizations around the world.

So this news had to be kept under wraps.

Fortunately, he had always withheld information about Goku from the council.

Without knowing Goku's experiences, they would not associate the revival of the soldiers in New Mexico with the Eternal Dragon appearing in New York.

However, according to Goku's experience, after the dragon balls are used, they turn into ordinary stones and only recover after a year, allowing them to be used again.

Finding a few stones on the entire Earth would be harder than finding a needle in a haystack.

But even if they become stones, they still have special energy fluctuations. With enough time, they can always be found.

Or, more directly, find Goku and use the dragon radar that Goku mentioned to find the dragon balls.

The power of the Eternal Dragon must be in the hands of S.H.I.E.L.D. to be the safest.

Unfortunately, his idea was destined not to be realized, at least not within this year, as he couldn't find Goku.

Because at this time, Goku had already returned to the White space.

"Sleep today, and tomorrow I'll start training properly!"

Lying on the ground in the White space, Goku didn't think too much, and immediately fell asleep.

Grandpa Dumbledore had told him many precautions, but he felt some were unnecessary and couldn't remember so many.

He wasn't Grandpa Dumbledore; he was just himself.

If they are friends, get along well. If they are enemies, defeat them with punches. If he can't defeat them, he will continue to train until he can. It's that simple.

After sleeping for eight hours, he rubbed his eyes and woke up, walking towards the gate of the new world he had already chosen.

Actually, he wasn't too conflicted about choosing the new world's gate.

Because he didn't know what kind of world was behind each door.

So he chose the door next to "Harry Potter," which read "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," in order from left to right.
