Chapter 39 - Duel

Seeing Goku step forward, Harry, Ron, and Hermione all breathed a sigh of relief.

"Get lost, you little runt."

Goyle reached out a hand, trying to push Goku away, then seize the opportunity to snatch the snacks on the table.

However, when he touched Goku's shoulder, he found that no matter how much force he used, he couldn't push him.

"You are so weak!"

Feeling Goyle's strength, Goku's face immediately showed a look of disappointment.

His opponent was too weak to be of any help to him.

He raised his hand and lightly flicked Goyle's stomach, sending Goyle flying directly out of the compartment, crashing into the metal wall of the carriage.

Falling from the metal wall, Goyle immediately burst into tears with a "wa" sound.

Although he was tall and big, he was still a child after all; when he was hurt, he naturally cried.

Crabbe, who had originally intended to attack Goku, saw this and quickly pulled back his hand, retreating in fear.

Malfoy was also startled, but he still feigned composure:

"A fellow who only knows brute force. A Wizard's duel uses magic, not fists. When we get to school later, we'll have a showdown."

After speaking, he immediately turned and left, fearing that if he ran too slowly, he would follow in Goyle's footsteps.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione all couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight.

"With magic, I'm afraid he'd be directly blasted into pieces by Goku."

After laughing, Hermione left the compartment to continue helping Neville find his toad.

Ron and Harry also began to change into their Wizard robes:

"Goku, quickly change your clothes! I feel the train is starting to slow down."

"Why do I have to change clothes? I don't like those clothes."

Goku was somewhat displeased with the Wizard robes because he felt that wearing robes made fighting less convenient.

"That won't do. You must wear these clothes to enter Hogwarts. It's a Hogwarts rule."

Ron and Harry took out robes for Goku and put them on him.

"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train; we will deliver it to the school for you."

The train's speed became slower and slower, and the conductor's voice echoed through the carriage.

Harry and Ron's expressions began to show some tension, while Goku became excited.

Finally, he was at Hogwarts! He would soon be able to spar with Dumbledore, the top master here.

After the train came to a complete stop, the three of them exited the compartment and followed the crowd towards the train door.

"First-year students! First-year students over here!"

As soon as he got off the train, Goku heard someone shouting loudly.

He turned his head to look and saw it was Hagrid, the gamekeeper they had met earlier at the wand shop in Diagon Alley.

"Hagrid!"

Seeing Hagrid, Harry, standing nearby, jumped up excitedly.

"Harry, come over here! Are you doing well?"

Hagrid also smiled happily when he saw Harry had arrived safely.

Once all the first-year little Wizards had gathered, Hagrid led them along a small path to the edge of a huge black lake.

On a high slope on the other side of the lake, a majestic castle stood prominently, with numerous spires on its towers and windows twinkling under the starry sky.

"Such a big lake… there must be many big fish!"

Goku looked at the huge Black Lake, unable to resist licking his lips.

The four roasted chickens and those few snacks at noon had only filled his stomach a little; now he was hungry again.

If he still had his tail, he would have considered lowering it to see if he could catch a big fish.

"Four people per boat, everyone line up and get on the boats."

Hagrid pointed to a fleet of small boats pre-docked by the lake, calling for the little Wizards to board.

There was no wind, no oars, and after everyone was seated, the small boats arranged themselves into two rows and automatically sailed towards the castle on the opposite shore of the lake.

The little Wizards marveled at the scale of Hogwarts Castle, their gaze fixed on the castle, while Goku lay on the small boat, his entire attention focused on the Water.

His intuition told him there were many big fish inside.

Fortunately, the boats were not slow and soon reached the shore.

"Will we see Dumbledore soon?"

As they walked up through the tunnel beneath the castle, Goku couldn't help but ask Ron beside him.

Although Nymphadora said there would be free dinner at Hogwarts, if there wasn't, he could just go back to the lake to catch fish after fighting Dumbledore.

"Soon, you'll see him in a bit."

Ron nodded. He thought Goku was also an admirer of Dumbledore, as Goku had asked many questions about Dumbledore.

But this was normal; many Wizards admired Dumbledore, and he himself was no exception.

Passing through the long tunnel, they arrived at the lawn in front of the castle gates. Hagrid handed them over to a tall, black-haired Witch in emerald green robes.

The Witch led them through the castle gates, into a small room next to the Great Hall, and began to introduce them to the four Houses and the upcoming Sorting Ceremony.

The little Wizards listened very attentively, only Goku was confused.

However, one thing he now understood clearly.

That was, Hogwarts was a school, and children like Ron and Harry, who were about his age, came to Hogwarts to study magic.

He didn't quite understand the concept of a school, but he had heard Bulma talk about it.

Before, to find Bulma to fix the Dragon Ball radar, he had gone to West City, and at that time, Bulma was still in school.

In fact, as he understood it, it was like Harry and Ron and these people came to Hogwarts to apprentice and train.

It was the same principle as him apprenticing to Master Roshi Grandpa, except Hogwarts took in more apprentices.

Before Krillin apprenticed to Master Roshi Grandpa, he had trained at Shaolin Temple, and Shaolin Temple also had many apprentices.

Hogwarts was probably a similar place to Shaolin Temple.

However, he wasn't here to apprentice; he was here to duel Dumbledore, but everyone else seemed to have misunderstood.

A misunderstanding was a misunderstanding; it wasn't a big deal, as long as he could find Dumbledore.

So he obediently stayed in the small room with everyone, waiting for the Witch in front of him to lead them to see Dumbledore.

"In five minutes, the Sorting Ceremony will begin. Please tidy up your appearance. I'll come back to get you in a moment!"

The Witch swept all the little Wizards with a stern gaze, then turned and left the room.

"Do you know how the Sorting works?

I want to be sorted into Gryffindor, because Dumbledore graduated from there.

Of course, Ravenclaw isn't bad either…"

Hermione stood next to Goku, Harry, and Ron, looking a bit nervous.

"I heard George say it's some kind of test that hurts us a lot, but I think he's joking; he's always like that."

Ron was equally nervous.

"I also hope for Gryffindor. My parents and brothers were all sorted into Gryffindor.

In any case, it absolutely cannot be Slytherin. I heard that no Black Wizard has ever come from anywhere but Slytherin."

"Gryffindor."

Harry also stated his answer. Ron and Hermione both wanted to go to Gryffindor, and he also hoped to be with his new friends.

"Goku, what about you?"

"Me, I'm not going to any House. After I challenge Dumbledore and teach you my training methods, I'll continue my training."

Goku answered honestly.

He had three things to do at Hogwarts: challenge Dumbledore, teach his three new friends his training methods, and then catch fish in the Black Lake to eat.

"You must be joking. Well, that's a very funny joke. At least we're not as nervous now."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione didn't believe Goku was serious.

No one would believe a twelve-year-old little Wizard could challenge Dumbledore, even if he could cast magic without a wand, even if he could use advanced magic to blast a small mountain to pieces.

"The Sorting Ceremony is starting. Line up and follow me!"

At this moment, the Witch in the emerald green robes returned.

She led the group of little Wizards out of the common room, through the Great Hall, and finally into the castle's Great Hall.

And the first thing Goku did upon entering the Great Hall was to lock his gaze on the old man sitting in the very center at the front of the hall.

With a push of his legs, he directly jumped over the group of little Wizards, landing in front of the old man.

"Hello, my name is Goku. May I duel with you?"
