Blanche's POV
I brushed off the divorce papers and walked out of Alexander Villa, clutching them tightly.
Once I reached Blissfield Villa, I pulled my car to the curb but couldn't bring myself to go inside.
This place used to be mine—where my daughter, husband, and I had built our life together. Now it belonged to Joanna.
Lillian was in there, and I couldn't stomach facing her right now.
I stayed locked in my car for quite some time before Zain's vehicle finally appeared at the villa's entrance.
Zain climbed out from behind the wheel, pulled open the rear door, and carefully lifted Carry into his arms. He then turned to assist Joanna from the car, waiting until both were safely out before shutting the door.
Watching someone as arrogant as Zain set aside his ego like this was almost surreal.
After securing his car, Zain and Joanna each grasped one of Carry's small hands, forming a perfect little family as they headed toward the villa.
