Not long after Eden left the building, Mechanical Head hummed a tune and began his work.
Although Mechanical Head's combat ability was not particularly impressive, he had an abundance of money, which allowed him to hire countless powerful supers to fight on his behalf.
As for Eden? After returning to the Kent Family, he resumed his simulation path, seizing every moment to grow stronger.
And so, another week passed in the blink of an eye.
"Phew."
Eden exited his final simulation before facing the Berserker Beast. This time, it had taken him only six hours to eliminate the Berserker Beast, Kruge, Ragna, and an entire interstellar fleet.
"The time is perfectly ripe. My hunting plan can now fully begin."
Eden's gaze deepened as he initiated his hunting plan.
Of course, for it to proceed smoothly, Eden first needed to draw away his super parents—and the group of weaklings from the Global Guardians. He couldn't allow these Guardians, who were only now starting to show promise, to rush headlong into danger before the Berserker Beast.
The White House
Just as the President had finished a busy day and was about to take a well-deserved break…
"Boom!"
Two blue-skinned strong men smashed through the wall of his office, laughing as they entered.
"Hahaha! Long time no see, dear Mr. President!"
The President's eyes widened in disbelief. The Mo Le Shuang Zi—the Muller Twins—had escaped from prison yet again, and once more, they were attacking the White House. They seemed to have a few "policy issues" they wanted to discuss with the President in person.
"Mo Le Shuang Zi, your doomsday has arrived!"
Just as the twins were preparing to take the President away… the roar of fighter jets filled the sky. Nightwing's jet appeared above them without warning.
"Damn it."
The Muller Twins cursed angrily.
"You're not going anywhere!"
At that moment, War Woman, hammer in hand, blocked their path. Behind her, Green Ghost, Martians, Captain, Red Speed, and Aquaman—members of Guardians Team One—arrived as reinforcements.
At the same time, the Lizard Alliance—still smarting from a brutal defeat by the Global Guardians a few days prior—gathered a large number of Lizardmen and launched a surprise attack on the Global Defense Agency's super-prison.
"Ah hahaha! Surrender to me! If you choose to surrender, I will release you from this cursed prison!"
Dr. Lizard, staff in hand, stood atop the prison building, laughing like a senile old man.
"Die, old man!"
Eve descended from the sky and kicked Dr. Lizard off the fifth floor, breaking his leg. While he had created the Lizardmen, he had not transformed himself into one, leaving his physical fitness only slightly above that of a normal human.
"Damn you, cheerleader girl," Dr. Lizard muttered, lying on the ground.
"Defeat them!"
Rex, equipped with armor specially developed for him by Robot, descended with the aid of vector nozzles. Countless explosive darts fired from his arms, sending dozens of Lizardmen soldiers sprawling.
"Hahahahaha! This relentless bombardment… exhilarating!"
"This adult is a genius; he understands my superpowers better than I do," Rex laughed. He had never experienced such overwhelming firepower before.
"I need a passionate battle… intense enough to restore my superpowers."
Meanwhile, Black Samson removed his armor and engaged in hand-to-hand combat with several Lizardmen. Fist met flesh, leaving him bruised and swollen. He wanted the Lizardmen to push him to the edge of death, just as Eden had instructed, to help restore his superpowers.
"Feel free to attack. Both the South and North gates are blocked by my clones," said Clone Man Kate, who had pre-positioned backup clones five hundred meters away. She spread her clones across the battlefield to ensure the team wouldn't be caught off guard by the battle's aftermath.
"I finally understand what that adult meant," Shrinking Woman Ray murmured. She moved among the Lizardmen, but instead of enlarging herself, she enlarged a spear made of a special material, skewering the enemies directly. If Ray had unlimited ability, she could have even shrunk an aircraft carrier and carried it herself.
"I'm going to smash them!" Beast Girl roared. She transformed into a green-skinned beast and crushed the heads of several Lizardmen. Over the past week, Robot had developed a wristband for her that mitigated the side effects of shrinking during beast transformation, allowing her to fight without restraint. She had also mastered combat techniques in her beast form.
Global Defense Agency
"Robot, how is Guardians Team Two performing?!"
Cecil asked, watching the monitors as Robot surveyed the battlefield.
"Clearly, they are an incredibly mature team. In my judgment, their overall strength is currently above that of Team One," Robot replied.
"That adult is simply a genius! He can easily identify the shortcomings of every Guardian member," Robot continued, his tone full of admiration.
"From your tone, you highly admire him?!" Cecil asked.
"Of course," Robot said with a nod. "So far, every prediction he has made has proven correct."
"I hope so," Cecil murmured, somewhat apprehensive, before nodding.
London
"Remember to have that kid strengthen this old man," William grumbled, transforming into a giant dragon. He circled above London, roaring: "Omni-Man, no one attacks the Knights Order without paying a price!"
"Have you finally shown yourself, William?!"
Omni-Man Nolan, who had been vacationing in Hawaii while monitoring the Knights Order, appeared above London in an instant.
"You are seeking your own death," Nolan said angrily, staring at the giant dragon.
"You forced my hand first!" William spat, unleashing dragon flames toward Nolan.
Elsewhere, Superman…
Eden's invincible father was busy fighting dimension lords across alternate dimensions. Eden had precisely timed his plan, knowing that Clark would be absent.
Basement of Mechanical Head's Second Safe House
Isotope, realizing the time was right, used his ability to summon a group of thugs he had hired. Slaughter Cannon, Kusk, Forge, Fanatic Magma, and the Berserker Beast appeared instantly, ready for the next phase of Eden's plan.
Eden had orchestrated everything with precision: the Guardians were engaged in one battle, global superhumans were drawn away, and now his hired mercenaries were ready. Every piece was in place for the Berserker hunting operation to begin.
The battlefield was chaotic. Explosions, roars, and the clash of powers echoed endlessly. Guardians Team Two advanced like a well-oiled machine, cutting down the Lizard army as if slicing through melons. The air was thick with tension, firepower, and determination.
Eve darted through the battlefield, kicking enemies and protecting civilians. Rex's bombardment tore through enemy ranks, while Black Samson's fists kept him sharp and focused. Shrinking Woman Ray and Beast Girl demonstrated the genius of Eden's strategic planning, turning their powers into unmatched precision attacks.
Robot's gaze swept the chaos. "Everything is going perfectly. Their combined strength is extraordinary—exactly as predicted."
Cecil exhaled, tension loosening slightly. "I hope Eden's plan works flawlessly. The timing is crucial."
Above London, William's dragon form battled Omni-Man, each attack shaking the city. Yet even in distant battles, Eden's careful calculations ensured that no interference could derail his operation.
And in the shadows of the Mechanical Head safe house, Isotope's summoned mercenaries waited. Their moment to strike—the climax of Eden's hunting plan—was imminent.
The world, unbeknownst to most, was about to witness the meticulous execution of a plan years in the making. And Eden? He observed it all, calm, calculating, and utterly unstoppable.
