Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Eden — The Only One Who Rules Both Light and Shadow

"I can help you gather the members of the Knights Order. With Isotope's ability, everyone can be in the office by this afternoon," Eden said calmly, his tone matter-of-fact.

Mechanical Head looked hesitant. "But whether you can actually become our Boss… that's hard to say! I have to warn you — the current head of the Knights Order, William, isn't someone easy to deal with."

He leaned forward, lowering his voice. "You know, William has been running the Knights Order longer than America has even existed! No one knows how old he really is. Aside from that fool The Immortal, who could possibly guess how long William has lived?"

He sighed, rubbing the metallic edge of his chin. "And once you fall out with him… I'll tell you right now, I'll stand firmly on your side. But in return, I hope you can guarantee my safety. I don't want to have a giant dragon coming after me every day!"

Mechanical Head looked truly helpless. On one side was Omni-Man. On the other was William. Two absolute monsters. He couldn't afford to offend either of them.

"Alright," Eden said simply, standing. "I'll be back at five this afternoon."

And with that, he left.

The moment he was gone, a gust of wind whipped through the room.

"The invincible Omni-Man…" Mechanical Head muttered, watching the empty doorway. "He's even faster than Isotope's teleportation."

After that day, if anyone asked which was faster — teleportation or pure speed — both Mechanical Head and Isotope would answer without hesitation:

"Omni-Man is faster!"

Five O'clock — Sixtieth Floor, Mechanical Head Building

"Long time no see, my old friends!"

Mechanical Head grinned broadly as one after another, the leaders of the Knights Order arrived — all personally summoned by Isotope from across the world.

Among them were Killer Mantis, dressed like a Kamen Rider; William, in his simple training suit; and his ever-present aide, Cormac. There were also several others — creatures that didn't look human at all — towering figures with claws, horns, and expressions that screamed "danger."

"Mechanical Head," William said sharply, his brows furrowing as he spotted who was sitting in the main seat. "Did you sit in the wrong place?"

"My apologies, William," Mechanical Head replied with an awkward smile. "It wasn't me who called you all here this time, but…"

He rose from his seat. At that very moment, a sudden gust of wind swept through the hall — and when everyone blinked, Eden was already sitting in the main seat beside him.

A deep hum followed. Buzz!

Isotope appeared behind Eden, standing with his hands behind his back like a loyal subordinate.

To him, being a subordinate to Omni-Man's son wasn't shameful in the slightest.

"Who is he?"

"That battle suit… and that S… could it be—?"

The entire Knights Order erupted in murmurs. Dozens of powerful figures stared in shock, their gazes locked on the calm young man in the black and red suit.

Eden looked at them coolly. "I want to be your spokesperson. Who agrees, and who objects?"

The question hung in the air.

Every mafia boss fell silent, exchanging glances. Nobody spoke — they were all waiting for William, the true leader of the Knights Order, to respond first.

William laughed coldly. "So this is why you dared to act so arrogant, Mechanical Head. You found yourself a superhuman to back you up?"

He crossed his arms. "Let me tell you something, you foolish hunk of metal. No matter how powerful your backer is, he's still bound by the laws of physics. My power has already transcended them!"

As he spoke, William's hands formed a series of strange seals. His pupils rolled back until only the whites showed, and his body began to tilt backward unnaturally.

For a brief moment, Eden thought he was about to fall and snap his neck right there.

Luckily, Cormac reacted quickly, stepping forward to catch him.

Then —

"ROAR!!"

The deafening cry of a dragon shook the air as an enormous spectral beast began to emerge from William's body, its scales shimmering with golden fire. The entire building trembled as the dragon's head tore through the veil of reality.

But before anyone could even gasp—

BOOM!

Eden moved.

In an instant, faster than anyone could even see, he appeared in front of the dragon and struck its skull with a single open palm.

The dragon's head slammed down violently, its spectral body rippling like shattered glass.

Eden pressed his hand against its head and shoved — hard.

With sheer, overwhelming force, he pushed the half-summoned dragon back into William's body.

William's eyes shot open. His breath caught. He stumbled, dazed, staring at Eden in disbelief.

He had never met anyone this strong — not even Nolan, Omni-Man himself, had made him feel such suffocating pressure.

"Does anyone still object?" Eden asked quietly, his hand still hanging midair.

Silence.

The entire room was frozen.

Then, one by one, the leaders began to shake their heads violently.

"No, no objections!"

"None at all, sir!"

"How could we possibly object?!"

Even the monstrous ones were nodding furiously, eyes wide with fear.

Eden let go of William, letting him drop back into his seat. "Good."

He looked around the room, sweeping his gaze across every face present. "From this moment on, the entire Knights Order will follow three simple rules."

Rule One

"No attacking ordinary people."

Eden's voice was calm, but every word hit like a hammer.

"I don't care about your internal gang disputes. But if any of you, or your subordinates, hurt innocent civilians, I will come for you personally."

He paused, letting the words sink in.

"I've memorized all your faces. You're all on my watchlist. If you or anyone under your command crosses the line — I'll come knocking."

Truthfully, he didn't plan to wipe them out completely. The Knights Order had too many branches and workers scattered across the globe. Their subordinates ran security firms, mercenary groups, transportation companies — they kept entire industries functioning in the shadows.

If Eden killed all their leaders in one day, the result would be chaos. Turf wars, splinter groups, and uncontrolled violence — exactly what Cecil had always feared.

What he wanted wasn't destruction.

It was control.

Peace through dominance — the "Triad Election of Peace."

Rule Two

"I'll assign you your respective territories," Eden continued. "You're responsible for maintaining stability within your own area. Unless it's absolutely necessary, don't leave your jurisdiction."

He leaned back in his chair. "If I hear there's trouble in your area, we'll be having another meeting — and you won't enjoy it."

"Also," he added, "you'll submit a work schedule to Mechanical Head every Monday. I want to know what you're planning for the week. And at the end of each month, send a detailed report. Consider it… accountability."

The bosses exchanged awkward glances. A few of them looked like students caught cheating on an exam.

Rule Three

"Don't mention my name to anyone," Eden said, his tone suddenly turning cold. "Only those present today know my identity. If you must refer to me, call me the Omni-Man in black."

He finished speaking, and the room fell completely silent.

Everyone looked dumbfounded. Even Mechanical Head, who had been standing at attention the whole time, blinked in surprise.

No one dared move or breathe loudly.

"…You idiots," Mechanical Head barked suddenly. "Didn't you hear what the Boss just said?!"

"Yes! We understand!"

"Understood, Boss!"

The entire room erupted in nervous agreement, voices overlapping.

Mechanical Head scowled. "And what do you say after you understand something?!"

Blank stares.

He slammed his hand on the table. "Applaud!"

"Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!"

A thunderous round of applause echoed through the sixtieth floor, shaking the walls.

Eden couldn't help but smile slightly.

"Good. Remember these three rules, and we'll get along just fine."

He stood up, looking around the room one last time. "And one more thing — I'm not the Omni-Man you know. You know, the one who wears his underwear outside his pants."

There was a pause.

Eden sighed internally. He just wanted to make sure no one confused him with his father, Nolan. That would be extremely awkward.

The room went silent for a moment.

Then, the bosses began nodding solemnly.

"Understood."

"Crystal clear, Boss."

"We promise we won't appear before you when you're… wearing your underwear outside."

Eden froze.

"…Why does that sound so wrong?"

He rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on, while Mechanical Head tried his best not to laugh out loud.

The newly formed Knights Order — under the command of the Omni-Man in Black — had just entered a new era.

Whether it would lead to peace or disaster…

Only time would tell.
