My breath caught, and my heart skipped a beat at the bait he threw out.
To tell me everything…about me, about Adrian, and including himself.
He surely had my interest piqued, that even my heart raced at the thought of it.
Maybe I could get answers for those questions that had driven me nuts.
Maybe he's finally willing to let the cat out of the bag.
"But…" I started, but he interrupted me swiftly.
"Stella, I just hope you can come, and after I explain things to you, then…you might then decide if you are still marrying or divorce…besides, I know you would always choose the divorce option.
My eyes narrowed slightly. "Dad. Tell me, how do you know I would go by the divorce option…just because you said it."
"Stella, you can't really judge until you hear me out…and you know you have to come alone." He said.
I drew in a deep breath. "Alright. I will definitely come, but I just hope I won't be disappointed."
