Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

THE RACETRACK__6PM.

The racetrack was electrified and jampacked with screaming fans clad in red and blue, their faces painted with matching colors.

The air was thick with anticipation as two sleek racing cars, a blue one with "DRAGON" emblazoned on its number plate and a red one with "KING" boldly displayed, roared to life at the starting line.

The crowd's deafening cheers and chants filled the air, their voices hoarse from shouting.

At the center of the starting line stood a stunning lady, her curves accentuated by a fiery red mini gown.

She grasped a red flag, her gaze locked on the two drivers.

With a dramatic flourish, she raised the flag, her eyes meeting those of the participants.

Levon who's the driver of the red sport car, sat confidently, his rugged features set in a determined expression.

He had no helmet on, just sleek gloves and a pair of white googly glasses, exuding an air of fearlessness.

In contrast, his opponent, the driver of the blue sport car, was fully geared up, his helmet and gloves a testament to his caution.

Only his piercing eyes were visible, focused intently on the road ahead.

"READY?" The lady's voice cut through the din of the crowd, her words echoing across the track.

The blue sport car's driver nodded, while Levon remained impassive, his gaze fixed on the finish line.

"Go!" the lady shouted,Without warning.

The red flag waved wildly as the two cars blasted off like rockets, their tires screeching in protest.

The force of their acceleration was so intense that it sent the lady tumbling backward, her red gown fluttering as she landed heavily on her buttocks.

The crowd erupted into a frenzy, their screams and cheers reaching a fever pitch as the two cars hurtled down the track, their engines roaring like beasts unleashed.

The outcome hung precariously in the balance, leaving the spectators on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the finish.

🗣️"KINGS!!!!!"

🗣️"KINGS!!"

🗣️"KINGS!!!"

Team red started chanting, their screams and yelling reaching it fever prick.

🗣️ LEVON KINGS!!!

🗣️ GAWD!! LOOK AT HIM GO..! I DON'T LOVE RACING BUT WITH HIM I LOVE ANYTHING!!!!

The blue team where also cheering but hell... Their members are only few.

Every fuçking human in his/her right senses would love Levon, he's the total best in everything!!

The two racers sped down the track, their engines roaring.

Suddenly, the blue sports car bumped into the red car's side, but Levon, the red car's driver, didn't flinch.

He continued to accelerate, his car surging forward.

He approached the blue car, and Swiftly sped past it, his engines protesting the strain.

Levon's sore focus was laser-sharp, but he didn't notice the sudden power bikes joining the race.

A motorcycle hurtled into his path, and and he was too late to dodge as he slammed roughly into it.

Swiftly, he turned his car around and started driving in reverse, speeding towards the finish line.

The blue car, driven by Mason, had a narrow lead, its front engine emitting smoke.

Levon grip around the steering wheel tightened and slammed his foot on the pedal, blasting forward.

Tires screeched, and smoke billowed as he gained firing speed.

Damn!!

In a stunning move, he passed the blue car while driving in reverse and crossed the finish line narrowly, the crowd erupting in cheers.

The roaring fans went wild!!!

The front of levon's race car suddenly caught on fire as he swiftly jumped down and almost immediately the car exploded! so madly because of the fire by the petrol side...

Angrily, Levon stormed towards the blue sport car which was just arriving in and dragged Mason out, before he could react Levon delivered a brutal punch across his face and roughly removed his helmet to get him properly.

He slammed more hefty blows on Mason which Mason tried returning but his eyes were already blurred from the first hit.

Before Levon could give him the finishing move, some teammates rushed towards them and started holding him while some pulled Mason away...

Levon shot Mason the most deadliest glare before storming off, the fans going wild, screaming and shouting in more excitement.

NIGHT TIME..*

THE PARTY HOUSE __9PM.

The party room was a vibrant spectacle, lights flashing and music pulsating through the crowded space.

Friday nights at KINGS INSTITUTE were legendary, with big-name performers and a lively atmosphere.

The Walking Demigods and Star Girls had just finished their sets, and the Dragons had brought the house down with their performance.

Now, the partygoers were letting loose, dancing and laughing together.

Lucinda, however, looked like a fish out of water.

She whimpered immediately she entered the crowded room, overwhelmed by the noise and body odor.

Another thing she hates so damn much than shit is crowds, she hates anywhere crowded!!

The hell she's doing here, she still doesn't even know, she glanced beside and around the party.

How Astrid had convinced her here is beyond explanation.

After the shits with Aurora 5 years ago, she also vowed never to make friends but damnit this skinny thing beside her is so clingy like a leech.

It's meant to be annoying but Gawd!!

It's too cute..!

And she can't be angry with this sweet innocent soul.

She allowed the little thing followed her about throughout the day and right now the girl convinced her and brought her here...

"Let's have some drinks the girls are coming soon." Astrid shouted as the music was booming loudly.

She swiftly slid her hand into Lucinda's and started dragging her towards the bartender.

Lucinda glanced down on their hands and back at Astrid pulling her towards the bartender.

She has this usual urge to avoid touch but with this lil girl, it's kinda difficult.

Getting to the bartender, Astrid ordered them drinks and swiftly down hers.

Lucinda glared at the Golden color of the drink and sighed softly, she shut her eyes and Swiftly down the liquor in one gulp, from here it's surely to her bed.

Getting a drink for the night isn't that bad right??

Brother Stefan doesn't allow her to drink nor drive, it's so annoying at times!!

The bartender added one more for them and they drowned it like they were in competition.

Lucinda snatched Astrid's glass and gave it to the bartender.

"No more drinks, bring her a mixture!" She said and the bartender nodded and handed Astrid a mixture.

Astrid drank all of it and stood.

"Excuse me! I wanna use the bathroom" she muttered before walking away.

She seems a bit tipsy but she could still hold herself to stand and walking.

Lucinda pulled out her phone and started playing with it but something caught her eyes which made her body run cold.

The weather climate!

She quickly sprang up on her feet, glanced around her eyes searching for Astrid but couldn't spot her.

Shit!!!

She checked it this morning!!

It was practically sunny!!

Shit shit shit!!!

BRRRRR!!!

Suddenly a very monstrous lightning strike echoed in the air and almost immediately the lights went out in the party house.

She felt waves of shivers rushed down her spine as she started rushing out, bumping and pushing people away with tears already spilling down her eyes.

No!!!

Please Not today!!?!

She checked it, it was meant to be tomorrow!!!

Another lightning echoed this time twice as loud as the previous which made her burst into more tears, her whole body broke into sweat as she started trembling all over.!

Not just because of the lightning bolt but because the lightning was followed by her worst enemy. * rainfall!!!

The moment the rain started falling, Lucinda's vicious phobia kicked in.

She Hastened up, pushing through the crowd, her eyes streaming with tears.

The sound of raindrops hitting the roof was like a cacophony of terror in her ears.

She stumbled, her heart racing, as she desperately tried to escape the rain.

As she pushed past people, they seemed to close in around her, their faces blurring together.

The music and laughter turned into a deafening din, and her breath came in short gasps.

She felt like she was drowning in a sea of panic, her senses overwhelmed by the storm raging outside and the chaos within.

As the rain intensified outside, Lucinda's panic reached a boiling point.

She frantically scanned her surroundings, her eyes locking onto a closed door.

With a surge of desperation, she rushed towards it, flinging it open and stumbling inside.

The door creaked shut behind her, muffling the sound of the rain, but not entirely blocking it out.

Lucinda's legs trembled beneath her, her body swaying precariously as she struggled to stay upright.

The room was dimly lit, the air thick with an eerie silence. Her breath seized from her lungs!!

She took a step forward but her legs started buckling beneath her, She slumped forward, her body crashing onto something soft.

As she fell, her vision though blurred, she caught a glimpse of a face – a face that was blurry and indistinct.

Her consciousness began to slip away, and she felt herself being enveloped by darkness.

Her body relaxed, and she lost all sense of awareness, collapsing into unconsciousness.

The last thing she heard was the distant pounding of the rain, a steady beat that seemed to fade into the background as her world went dark....
