"I want some more~~"
Milim stared straight at Takumi, speaking in an almost coquettish tone. The divine wine was simply too delicious—so delicious that she hadn't even noticed the changes in her own body.
She hadn't realized that, on an instinctive level, she no longer wanted to use violence against Takumi. Instead, she subconsciously wanted to coax him into giving her what she wanted.
"If you want more, of course there'll be more. But you'll have to become my... friend."
Takumi had no intention of making Milim his subordinate. She was much more suited to becoming his girlfriend.
"Friends? Sure!"
Milim broke into a brilliant grin, then proudly patted her nearly flat chest.
"Since you're my friend now, if you ever run into any trouble, you can come talk to me about it!"
"Hahaha~ Then I'll thank you in advance."
Laughing heartily, Takumi took out another cup of divine wine while having the Shadow Demon maids bring over plate after plate of delicious food. The solemn meeting room instantly turned into an ordinary dining room.
"Whoa~~ You can eat all of this!? And it's actually hot!!"
Milim looked utterly amazed. Just smelling the food was enough to make her drool uncontrollably.
Takumi ran a hand over her twin tails and smiled. "My divine wine isn't something you should drink too much of. It wouldn't be good if you got addicted. As for food, though, we've got plenty of everything."
As soon as he finished speaking, Milim downed the divine wine in one gulp and immediately began stuffing herself.
Once she had eaten and drunk her fill, she lay sprawled in Takumi's arms like a cat, her round little belly sticking out.
"I'm so full~~ I've never eaten this well before!"
Milim let out an incredibly satisfied sigh, narrowing her eyes with sheer contentment written all over her face.
Takumi poked her pale, swollen little belly and nearly burst out laughing. "It's not like I told you to eat everything."
"Who told them to make all this stuff so tasty~?"
Milim grumbled, then opened her eyes and looked up at him. Her little hand grabbed the corner of Takumi's clothes and gave it a tug.
"Hey, hey~ Let me ask you something. Don't you want to call yourself a Demon Lord and try being one?"
The sudden question left Takumi completely baffled.
"A Demon Lord? Why would I want to call myself a Demon Lord?"
He was a god. Lowering himself to become a Demon Lord sounded pretty lame.
Milim stared at him in astonishment, apparently never expecting him to refuse. Unable to understand his reaction, she explained her own view of Demon Lords.
"Because... being a Demon Lord is really cool! Usually, everyone looks up to them, right?"
"Why would I look up to something so pointless?"
"Huh?"
The two stared at each other, neither able to understand what the other was thinking.
Looking at Milim's blank, confused expression, Takumi asked in a serious tone, "Let me put it simply. What are the benefits of being a Demon Lord?"
"Huh? Let me think... Strong people will come challenge you. That's fun, right?"
"How the hell is that fun? Isn't that just asking for trouble?"
Takumi's speechless response left Milim stunned.
"W-Wait! Then what do you even do for fun?"
As far as Milim was concerned, life was all about finding something entertaining to do. Otherwise, she'd die of boredom.
Takumi, however, couldn't help laughing when she brought that up.
"I have plenty of things I enjoy. I have lots of wives to take care of, different worlds to explore, and a peaceful life of my own. Do you really think running around fighting people all the time is that much fun? Besides that, what else do you enjoy doing?"
His string of questions left Milim stammering.
"Other things... I guess there aren't any. But I can make majin and humans tremble before me!"
"Is that fun?"
"..."
Milim fell completely silent, as if she'd just been struck by lightning.
Bullying the weak could certainly be fun, but only for a little while. It was like using cheats in a game: it might feel great at first, but once that brief rush wore off, everything quickly became boring until eventually you stopped playing altogether.
Milim had already reached that second stage. All of those things had long since become boring to her.
Realizing this, she clutched Takumi's sleeve tightly.
"No fair! Your life sounds so much more fun, so I'm joining too! That's cheating! Cheater, cheater! Now I'm mad. Hurry up and tell me what you do! I-I'm your friend, right? Whatever fun things you have, I want to play too!!"
Without another word, Milim started throwing a childish tantrum. She rolled around in Takumi's arms, shamelessly insisting that he play with her no matter what.
She had already spent thousands of years bored out of her mind. Now that she had finally found someone like Takumi, there was no way she was going to let this chance slip away!
Watching Milim act like a spoiled child left all the women present speechless.
Before this, they had thought Milim was a terrifying Demon Lord. Now, however, she looked like nothing more than a little girl who had been bored out of her mind for far too long.
Seeing this, Chloe took the initiative to invite her.
"If you've never played games before, I can play with you. Big Brother made all of these. They're really fun, and they're nice to look at too."
Milim's attention was immediately captured.
"Something fun!? Hurry, show me!"
With that, she immediately followed Chloe out.
"Lord Takumi, shouldn't we keep an eye on her?"
Watching Milim leave with Chloe, Shuna quietly offered her suggestion.
Milim was simply too dangerous. It would be very easy for her to cause some kind of disaster. Her personality was also the kind where nothing would happen as long as you stayed out of her way, but the moment you brushed against her at the wrong time, getting crushed to death was entirely possible.
"Don't worry about her for now. I'll try to teach her the rules myself."
Takumi waved a hand. This was something he needed to handle personally.
Milim was a true powerhouse. She would never listen to so-called advice from the weak. Her nature wasn't bad, though, so with some guidance, she could still be taught.
With that, Takumi stood up as well and followed after them, planning to spend some quality time playing with Milim and Chloe.
The women left behind in the meeting room exchanged glances.
"Forget it. We should report what happened here to Kagali first."
Shuna let out a breath and pulled Shion along toward Kagali's office.
After thinking for a moment, Shizue Izawa headed in Takumi's direction instead. She had quite a bit of experience when it came to educating children.
Faced with modern entertainment such as manga and video games, Milim had absolutely no resistance. In less than half an hour, she was already completely absorbed.
Takumi and Chloe joined her as playmates, spending the entire afternoon furiously working their controllers.
By evening, after enjoying another delicious dinner, Milim had completely fallen in love with the place.
She had already made up her mind—she was going to live here from now on!
With all these manga and games around, she felt like she could happily stay cooped up here for the rest of her life.
"By the way, where are Takumi and Chloe? Where did they go?"
"Lady Milim, the two of them are currently washing up in the bath."
The Shadow Demon maid answered softly, immediately leaving Milim puzzled.
What's a bath? I want to see!
Without a second thought, she ordered the Shadow Demon maid to lead the way and headed straight toward the bathhouse...
