Staring at the towering church in the distance, Mio Naruse and Maria Naruse both felt uneasy.
As demons, being this close to a holy place was… uncomfortable.
Still, neither of them complained. Instead, they quietly followed Takumi.
Compared to the days of hiding and running for their lives, Mio was grateful for her current situation.
Her cheeks flushed slightly as she stole a glance at the man beside her—her master.
As long as he was there, the fear and anxiety in her heart seemed to melt away.
…
Meanwhile, in the center of the grand church, Raynare stood before the gathered crowd like a pure high school girl.
In front of her stood her two companions—fellow Fallen Angels.
One was a tall, voluptuous woman with long, deep-blue hair.
The other, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl dressed in gothic style.
Behind them, a group of rogue exorcists stood in perfect formation, not daring to raise their heads.
They knew very well what kind of women these three were—cold-blooded killers.
It was Raynare and her two subordinates who had gathered these exorcist outcasts and formed this church faction.
The two looked toward Raynare, puzzled.
The blonde girl, Mittelt, was the first to speak, her tone sharp and impatient.
"Why did you suddenly call us all here? Weren't we supposed to be searching for that stray pure-blood demon?"
Seeing her speak, the blue-haired woman, Kalawarna, followed up, frowning. "Yeah, and what about Donaseek? He vanished overnight. Where the hell did he go?"
"Donaseek, that idiot, is dead."
Raynare's cold response froze both women in place.
"Dead?" they both repeated in shock.
Without emotion, Raynare continued, "The reason I called you here… is because our Master requires it."
"Master?" they both echoed again.
Still reeling from the first revelation, they could barely process the second. They knew Raynare well—arrogant, vicious, and proud. The idea that she would submit to anyone, and even speak the word Master with such devotion, seemed utterly absurd.
For a moment, they both wondered if this was some kind of illusion.
Tap… tap… tap…
Footsteps echoed through the church. Both women turned toward the sound.
Takumi entered calmly, followed by Mio and Maria. He looked around at the assembled exorcists and clapped his hands in amusement.
Clap, clap, clap!
"Well done, Raynare. I'll be sure to reward you properly when we get home."
Hearing his praise, joy flooded Raynare's chest. She gave him a flattering smile, her tone syrupy and submissive.
"All of this… was exactly as you wished, my Master~~"
"You—Raynare!" both women exclaimed at once.
Seeing her so deferential left them speechless—and confirmed what they feared:
this man was indeed the "Master" she spoke of.
But when they looked at him, their eyes quickly shifted to the two girls beside him.
"Two demons?"
"And one of them… that's the pure-blood we were hunting."
Meeting each other's gaze, Kalawarna and Mittelt came to the same conclusion—Raynare had betrayed the Fallen Angels.
Mittelt stomped her foot, her small body trembling with anger.
"You idiots! They're the enemy!"
The rogue exorcists around them reacted instantly, reaching for their weapons—
but before they could draw them, Takumi raised his hand.
"Mio, pay attention. This is your true power."
"My… power?"
In her confusion, she watched as Takumi gathered demonic energy in his palm.
"Gravity Magic: Field Suppression."
Hummmm—
A violet gravitational field expanded outward, engulfing the entire hall.
Every exorcist instantly felt a crushing weight slam down on their bodies.
Their knees buckled.
"Ugh! Aaahhhh!!"
The harder they struggled, the heavier it grew.
Crack, crack, crack!
Bones snapped. Blood splattered across the marble floor.
In just ten seconds, nearly thirty exorcists were dead.
Thud.
Mittelt and Kalawarna froze, their faces pale as they swallowed hard. Raynare, meanwhile, gazed at Takumi with deep adoration.
He had grown even stronger♡. Her Master… was evolving again.
The thrill of absolute submission sent a shiver down her legs.
Mio, watching the slaughter, stared at her own hands in disbelief. That kind of power… came from me?
Takumi gave no further explanation. He simply ignored the corpses—though the battle had dropped a few random Traits, none were worth absorbing.
As he stepped closer, both Fallen Angels panicked. Fight? They'd be crushed.
Locking eyes, they came to an unspoken agreement.
"Run!" they shouted in unison.
Dark wings flared behind them. But before they could take off, Takumi flicked his finger.
A violet ring of gravity descended.
Thud! Thud!
Both women crashed face-first into the floor, pinned down in humiliating submission.
"What gave you the illusion you could run? Was it… courage?"
Takumi crouched down, fingers lifting Kalawarna's chin.
Her delicate, mature features reflected the flickering light—beautiful and dangerously seductive. As expected of a Fallen Angel, just looking at her stirred sinful thoughts.
In truth, Kalawarna and Mittelt were only slightly less stunning than Raynare.
"W-who are you!?" Kalawarna demanded, her voice trembling.
Takumi squeezed her soft cheek lightly, his tone indifferent. "Just a passing exorcist."
Then, he released his magic and drew a glowing sigil on the floor, a Master–Servant Contract.
"Clear your minds," he warned, voice low and sharp. "Otherwise, you'll end up like them."
The memory of the dead exorcists flashed through their minds. Their pride broke. Both women lowered their heads in fear.
Pink glowing rings appeared on their necks—the mark of subjugation.
"If you don't want to die right now, kiss the back of your Master's hand," Raynare said softly, almost pitying them.
They had once been her subordinates… now they shared her fate.
"What kind of joke is this!? Why should I kiss this man's—ahhhn!"
Mittelt's defiance was cut short as her collar flared with bright pink light.
Kalawarna turned in alarm, completely forgetting to perform the ritual herself.
The magic circle on Takumi's hand vanished and the curse descended upon them both.
"Ahhh! Aaahhhhn!"
The two Fallen screamed, their bodies twisting and trembling on the floor.
"It's here, it's here! The most exquisite curse scene ever—this has to be recorded!"
Maria cheerfully pulled out a video camera, aiming it right at them.
Mio could only stare speechlessly.
Why the hell do you even carry a camera around, Maria?
Did you already know something like this would happen?
