"Medal?"
George frowned a little, clearly not thrilled with the reward.
Raila noticed his lack of excitement and snapped, half annoyed, "You really don't get it, do you? Do you even know what this is?"
"Isn't it just an honorary medal?" George replied casually.
"Hmph!" Raila gave a short snort and asked, "Do you know that we're part of the Marella Region?"
"Yeah," George nodded.
"This," Raila said slowly, "is a noble medal personally granted by the Governor of Marella Region. It gives you the title of Viscount."
"Viscount?"
This time, George's eyes finally lit up with real interest.
According to the usual noble ranking—Duke, Marquis, Count, Viscount, Baron—
a Viscount was the fourth tier. Not exactly high, but still... George hadn't heard of any player holding a title before.
"Besides being some kind of honor, does this title actually do anything?" George asked bluntly.
After all, even a rare title wasn't worth much without real benefits.
