"Guardian Spirit!"
George just activated Guardian Spirit when Thorn Wrap hit, wrapping it completely. At the same time, splash!
The water exploded. From the reflection in the water, an assassin player jumped out. The assassin held two daggers and drove them straight into Guardian Spirit.
Guardian Spirit started losing health fast!
George ignored the assassin right in front of him and the falling priest, and kept running as fast as he could.
"Rangers' Dance!" Elena saw George getting closer and shouted. She used her skill.
In an instant, Elena's speed tripled or even quadrupled. Dozens of fake Elenas, hard to tell which was real, appeared around George, surrounding him with their curved blades.
"Whirlwind Slash!" A warrior player jumped through the circle of Elenas and appeared above George. He swung his big sword, sending a strong wind into the air!
The wind hit the water, causing waves to rise and spin faster and faster.
"Frenzy Slam!" The warrior swung his big sword down. It looked like it was about to hit George right on the head. George shouted and used his skill, swinging the Dwarves' Iron Hammer.
After three hits, a fire dragon roared, destroying all of Elena's fake images. Elena appeared!
George held the Dwarves' Iron Hammer right in front of Elena's body.
Elena tried to dodge, but suddenly she realized her speed and agility had dropped. She was almost frozen!
"How... is this possible?!" Elena looked in disbelief as the Dwarves' Iron Hammer hit her on the head. The fire dragon completely covered her.
In the flames, George turned and met the warrior head-on.
"Whirlwind Slash!" The warrior shouted again, turning into a spinning cone and rushing at George.
1 second left!
Frenzy Slam had only 1 second left!
George ran at the warrior and took the direct hit to his stomach.
Fire dragon roared again, swallowing the warrior.
"Boss, catch!" Buck threw George a healing potion.
It was one of the items Elena dropped.
George drank the potion and ran toward the stunned assassin and priest.
The priest used Daze, and the assassin disappeared. He reappeared from the water's reflection.
George reached into the water, grabbed the assassin, and moved quickly to avoid the priest's Daze skill. He hit the assassin with the Dwarves' Iron Hammer. The assassin was barely alive.
"Leader, watch out!" Dorothy screamed in fear.
Splash!
The water broke again.
Under the assassin's shadow was another assassin!
The dying assassin laughed: "Hahaha, George..." He turned into light and died.
The other assassin's dagger was fast and precise. George didn't even see it coming. It cut through his throat.
"Thorn Wrap!" The priest player saw this and used the skill again.
George was losing health fast!
Buck used Speed Boost and ran over to push George away. He himself got wrapped in Thorn Wrap.
"Boss, remember to avenge me!" Buck shouted angrily.
George was pushed back, very weak. He struggled to take out his milk bottle and drank a little.
Suddenly, his status was restored!
"Frenzy Slam!"
The assassin and priest were still chasing George. When they saw George, who had just recovered and was rushing toward them, they were all stunned.
Before they could react, they were hit by the fire dragon from Dwarves' Iron Hammer and frozen by the Frostbite skill!
In the flames, the priest and assassin logged off.
"Boss, save me..." Buck cried, still trapped in Thorn Wrap. The poison spikes kept stabbing him and he kept losing health.
Dorothy quickly swam over to Buck and gave him a healing potion.
"Boss..." The Thorn Wrap disappeared, and Buck barely escaped death. He was about to show off to George when he realized George had already rushed toward the other players.
The fight had drawn a lot of spectators.
When they saw George coming, they all moved out of the way.
But some players were still focused on fighting the Fish Dragon.
At the cost of more than fifty players' lives, ten or so players had managed to corner the Fish Dragon, and it was down to less than 300 health. The victory was almost in sight.
Suddenly, they heard a loud noise behind them.
"Whoa, get out of the way!" The players turned around and shouted.
Then they saw George, holding the Dwarves' Iron Hammer, charging forward with a fire dragon roaring from the hammer. He was unstoppable.
The fire dragon hit three players directly. They died on the spot.
George stood alone in front of the Fish Dragon.
The Fish Dragon roared and used the skill Tsunami!
The water roared and the remaining players ran and dodged in panic.
But George ran straight into the Tsunami, taking the hit.
When the wave finally calmed down, the players gathered around and saw that George had already killed the Fish Dragon.
And George... was completely unharmed!
That was a Tsunami!
A Tsunami that had killed at least twenty or thirty players!
The players all stepped back, letting George drag the Fish Dragon's body away. They all watched him with respect.
[Ding! Congratulations, host. You have killed the Fish Dragon. The Bloody Hands skill has been activated. You have gained the Fish Dragon's agility and movement speed +50.]
Suddenly, George felt lighter. His movement speed went from 86 to 136—nearly the speed of a level 49 player!
Although he didn't get the Fish Dragon's skill, he was pretty happy with the reward.
With level 49 movement speed and the Frenzy Slam skill, no mages or priests could lock on to him anymore. Even rangers couldn't keep up. The only real threat was the assassin's Shadow skill.
"Boss," Buck came over and said, "look at what they dropped."
"Split it," George smiled. "If it wasn't for you, I would've been trapped by Thorn Wrap, and I would've died at the hands of that last assassin."
"That was so sneaky! So sneaky!" Buck said, still angry. "Who would've guessed there were two assassins in the same team? They were just there to kill other players!"
He kept talking, but his hands were already sorting through the loot, as if afraid George might change his mind.
George had to admit, Buck was right.
He had clearly seen five players in Elena's team. But under the heavy attacks from the priest, assassin, warrior, and ranger, he didn't even have time to think. He just fought as hard as he could.
If it wasn't for Louise's milk, he probably would've logged off this time.
But this time, it wasn't Louise who tricked him—it was other players working together.
"I didn't do anything..." Dorothy said.
"No problem, just take it. The big man gave it to you!" Buck said proudly.
"You take it," George said.
Dorothy finally took the loot. She picked up the rest, then carefully touched the weapon she liked the most—a green sword with no level restriction.
...
"Louise!" George entered the golden gate and put down the Fish Dragon.
Louise flew down on her broom, looked it over, and said, "Little George, good job. Here's your reward!"
George grabbed it, but it was so cold he almost dropped it. "What is this?"
"Ice Crystal Stone, of course. This is a mutated crystal. It's just a little worse than Holy Crystal. How's that, huh? Am I nice to you?" Louise smiled.
[Ding! Congratulations, host. Task completed. You have received: Ice Crystal Stone!]
[Ding! Double Return System activated. Ice Crystal Stone has been enchanted successfully. Host gains: Thunder Crystal!]
[Thunder Crystal: Mutated crystal. When embedded in a weapon, it causes a lightning strike once every five attacks. When embedded in boots, it increases your movement speed by 20%!]
A 20% speed boost. George happily put the Thunder Crystal away.
But right now, the players' levels were still too low. None of the alchemists had learned the skill to embed crystals or make magic items yet.
But when alchemists could make magic items, other players would be much higher level. There would be a lot of players with materials, and George would lose all his advantage.
"Louise, where do I go to embed the crystal?" George asked.
Louise was busy cutting open the Fish Dragon and taking its bones. When she heard that, she looked up and said, "You're so stupid! Of course, you go to the Dwarves!"
The Dwarves were NPCs. They wouldn't open the door without enough treasure.
And once you opened the door, the Dwarves would try to steal your stuff.
"How do I get the Dwarves to embed the crystal?" George asked.
"Let me think, let me think!" Louise tapped her head. Then her eyes lit up. She stood up and said excitedly: "Little George, I got it! Say I'm smart!"
"Louise is really smart!" George smiled and gave her a thumbs-up.
"I won't tell you!" Louise suddenly turned around and said: "This is a secret of Cologne Island. No one can know!"
