Chapter 25: New Power and New Students

After returning home, Tenchi activated his system. He stared at the remaining 44 points, his mind working.

*'My current combat skills are strong enough. I don't need to worry about the Eternal Mangekyo right now. There's only one real problem: Chakra.'*

He knew the Uchiha's natural weakness was their limited chakra reserves. No Uchiha he'd ever heard of had a massive amount. They made up for it with quality, using every bit of their chakra with extreme efficiency to maximize the power of their ninjutsu.

But that path didn't suit him. Tenchi didn't want to focus on quality alone; he wanted overwhelming quantity. He wanted to crush his enemies with a sheer, bottomless ocean of chakra.

His first thought was the Tailed Beasts, but he quickly dismissed it. *'Trying to steal a Tailed Beast from another village would just start another war. Too much trouble.'*

With the real Tailed Beasts off the table, he turned his attention to the system shop.

His eyes scanned the list of available options:

* One-Tail, Shukaku: 10k Points

* Two-Tails, Matatabi: 20k Points

* Three-Tails, Isobu: 30k Points

* Four-Tails, Son Gokū: 40k Points

* Five-Tails, Kokuō: 50k Points

* Six-Tails, Saiken: 60k Points

* Seven-Tails, Chōmei: 70k Points

* Eight-Tails, Gyūki: 80k Points

* Nine-Tails, Kurama: 90k Points

* Ten-Tails, Jūbi: 100k Points

A note was attached to the Ten-Tails: **[To exchange for the Ten-Tails, the host must first exchange for the other nine Tailed Beasts.]**

**[The Tailed Beasts exchanged through the system will reside permanently within the host's body and cannot be removed. The exchanged Beasts will obey the host unconditionally. The host can use their chakra and can also summon them.]**

"Tch," Tenchi scoffed. "I thought I could just get the Jūbi directly. What a letdown." The 50-point price for the Ten-Tails had seemed like a steal, but the requirement to buy all the others first killed his interest instantly.

After a moment's thought, he made his decision. He exchanged for the One-Tail through the Five-Tails—six beasts in total. It cost him 38 points, leaving him with only 6.

He chose this combination for a simple reason: it wasn't just about how many tails a beast had, but about the total volume of chakra. Having six different sources of chakra felt more efficient than just one slightly larger one. He could use the power of all of them, and it would give him a huge boost.

The moment the exchange was complete, six beams of light shot from the system and melted into his body. He could feel them, six new pools of immense energy settling within him.

"Hahaha!" Tenchi laughed out loud, feeling the raw power coursing through him. "With these chakra batteries, I can do anything I want!"

But then his smile faded. *'Still, I'm missing that one ultimate, fight-ending technique.'*

His eyes landed on two specific ninjutsu in the shop: the **Wind Style: Rasenshuriken** and **Lightning Style: Kirin**. Both were S-rank, and both cost 20,000 points—far beyond what he had.

He sighed. *'I know the Rasengan and the Chidori. If I don't get these advanced versions now, they might never appear in this world.'*

Gritting his teeth, he exchanged his last 6 points for the two techniques, officially wiping his balance down to zero.

The next morning, Tenchi left early and found a clearing in the forest behind the Hokage Mountain. He hid in a tree, watching the three genin below. He waited, observing them until well after ten o'clock.

"Didn't the old man say a new captain was coming today?" a white-haired boy grumbled, sitting on the grass. "Why isn't he here yet? So unreliable."

"Be quiet, Jiraiya!" a blonde girl snapped, showing an impatient expression. "Why can't you be calm and quiet like Orochimaru? The captain will get here when he gets here."

The third member of the team, a boy with pale skin, simply sat on the ground, silently practicing his chakra control.

Seeing that he had made them wait long enough, Tenchi finally jumped down from the tree and walked slowly towards them.

The three genin noticed him approaching.

"Hey, big brother!" Jiraiya called out, not even considering that this young man could be their new captain. "Are you here for training?"

Without waiting for an answer, Jiraiya slung a friendly arm around Tenchi's shoulder. "You know, it's almost lunchtime. You should just come back after you eat. We don't even know when our new captain is gonna show up."

Tenchi looked at Jiraiya with an amused expression. *'This guy is way too friendly. No wonder he'll travel the whole world later. He's a natural-born social butterfly.'*

"I *am* your new captain," Tenchi stated calmly.

Jiraiya, who still had his arm around Tenchi, and the other two, stared in disbelief. Their captain, the Hokage himself, had said he was sending a powerful shinobi. This guy was only seven or eight years older than them—a Chunin at best. He didn't look like a "powerful shinobi."

"Come on, man, stop joking," Jiraiya said, keeping his arm in place. "You can't be our captain. Our last captain said the new one was super strong!"

"Don't I look strong?" Tenchi asked, a slight smile playing on his lips as he looked at Jiraiya.

Jiraiya slowly removed his arm from Tenchi's shoulder.

With Jiraiya off of him, Tenchi addressed all three of them. "Let me be clear. I am your new captain, Uchiha Tenchi. Let's work well together."

Jiraiya jumped forward, pointing a finger at Tenchi. "Hah! You made us wait all morning! What kind of strength do you have to be our captain? If you want us to accept you, you have to beat all three of us in a fight! Otherwise, we won't recognize you!"

Though Orochimaru and Tsunade didn't speak, their expressions showed they agreed with Jiraiya. The person in front of them was just too young.

"I get it," Tenchi said, nodding. "In the shinobi world, strength is what matters. But instead of fighting you, I have a better way to prove myself."

The three genin looked at each other, confused, then back at Tenchi, curious to see what he would do.

A smirk appeared on Tenchi's face. He remembered a trick from the Fourth Great Ninja War. He decided to copy it.

Suddenly, a terrifying wave of energy exploded outwards from his body. The ground around his feet cracked and shattered from the pressure. A visible aura of power rushed towards the three genin, so intense it was like a physical force.

"What?! This power!" Tsunade gasped.

All three of them were thrown backward, skidding three meters across the grass before they could steady themselves.

Tenchi immediately pulled his energy back in. He looked at the three stunned genin with a calm smile. "So? Does that prove I'm qualified to be your captain?"

They all nodded quickly, their eyes wide with shock and new-found respect. Just by releasing his chakra, he had blown them away. What would he be like in a real fight?

Tenchi was amused. *'That move worked on Sasuke with his Mangekyo. Of course it would work on you three.'*

"Alright, let's do introductions. I'll start," Tenchi said, moving on. "My name is Uchiha Tenchi. I'm 16 years old. From now on, I am your Jōnin captain."

"Uchiha?" all three of them muttered at once, their expressions turning slightly strange.

Seeing the look in their eyes, Tenchi raised an eyebrow. "What's with the faces? Do you have a problem with the Uchiha?"
