Kabuto's low voice echoed from every direction within the pitch-black cave. Wan'er and Hinata looked around, only to find that Kabuto had silently appeared right behind them.
From his own abdomen, he had grown an independent, living duplicate body—the very medium for the ninjutsu he gained after transplanting the cells of Sakon and Ukon.
"But now... you stand against me—someone who has evolved from a snake into a dragon, mastered Sage Arts, and become a true Sage..."
"Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!!!"
Just as Kabuto was about to clasp his hands to unleash a Sage Technique, his serpentine eyes widened abruptly—he saw a figure leaping fiercely straight toward him!!
Hinata took a deep breath, the veins at her temples bulging. She extended her arms, assuming the starting stance of the Eight Trigrams Palms, and launched her assault on Kabuto!!
"Eight Trigrams Palms from the Hyūga Clan? Still far too naive..." Kabuto scoffed softly. With a flash of movement, he used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished instantly from where he stood.
"Where do you think you're going?!"
At that very moment, a brilliant light flared within Wan'er's deep, scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan, and a surge of ocular power erupted!!
"Retrocognition!!!"
Swish!
Kabuto—who had just teleported to the far end of the cave—abruptly froze in mid-step.
Then, as if time itself were rewinding like a film reel, his figure reappeared instantly right back in front of Hinata!
"What is the meaning of this?!" Utter shock flashed in his slitted pupils. Before he could even process what happened, Hinata's palms were already striking toward him!
"This is... oh no!!!"
Kabuto felt an invisible domain envelop the space around him, as if every single move he made was being locked onto and tracked perfectly.
"Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!!!"
"Two Palms!"
"Four Palms!"
"Eight Palms!"

"One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!!!"
Following Hinata's steady, rhythmic count, her hands blurred into dark shadows as she struck out repeatedly.
She delivered all one hundred twenty-eight strikes in rapid succession, her force penetrating almost completely through Kabuto's body.
The entire sequence flowed perfectly—completed in less than three seconds!
"Damn it! This little girl actually has some skill!!!"
Kabuto felt his internal organs churning violently within him, his body swaying unsteadily as he struggled just to remain standing.
"Now's our chance—pin him down! Melting Release: Lime Congealing Jutsu!!"
Seeing Kabuto dazed and reeling from the beating, Kurotsuchi immediately wove hand seals and spewed forth a thick stream of rapidly hardening cement straight at him!
"As a Sage... how could I possibly be defeated by three little girls like you?!"
Sage Art: White Rage Technique!!
Just as Kurotsuchi released her Melting Release, Kabuto instantly clasped his hands together and exhaled a long serpent made entirely of white, viscous liquid.
Clutched within the dragon's claws was a glowing sphere, resembling a pearl or orb.
BOOM!!
Before the wide, horrified eyes of Hinata, Wan'er, and Kurotsuchi, the liquid dragon swirled rapidly around the shining pearl.
Suddenly, the orb exploded, unleashing an intensely blinding radiance. Instantly, overwhelmed by the brilliant, searing light, everyone was temporarily blinded.
BZZZZZT... BZZZZZT...
Beyond the dazzling brightness, the three women felt powerful vibrations rippling through the very air around them, making it impossible for them even to maintain their footing.
The deafening resonance was so intense, it gradually caused them to lose their sense of hearing as well.
"What kind of ninjutsu is this...?"
Feeling as though every bone in their bodies were grinding and rubbing against one another, and having temporarily lost both sight and hearing, the three stood horrified within their minds.
The dark skeletal armor surrounding Wan'er slowly began to fade and dissolve away.
White Rage Technique — This was one of the Sage Arts Kabuto could use after entering Sage Mode.
Its effect continuously vibrated the air within a certain radius, creating the sensation for anyone caught within it that every bone in their body was grinding violently against every other.
This technique could even induce total body numbness. Furthermore, the intense light and overwhelming sound it produced completely obscured the target's vision and hearing, leaving the enemy trapped in a state worse than death, utterly unable to control their own movements.
This jutsu was terrifyingly powerful. In the original timeline, it forced even Sasuke and Itachi to drop their Susanoo, suppressing both brothers completely for a time.
Meanwhile, Kabuto himself could liquefy his body to effortlessly absorb and cushion the vibrations.
In Sage Mode, he could also shield his eyes from the blinding light using the translucent membranes of his snake-like eyelids—effectively protecting him even against Sharingan genjutsu, which required direct eye contact to cast.
Under the effects of this technique, Kabuto alone retained full freedom of movement.
The blinding glare interrupted Hinata's continued use of the Gentle Fist, and Kabuto easily slipped away from Kurotsuchi's Melting Release attack.
"Now... you are all completely incapable of resisting..."
Having fully activated the Sage Mode of the Ryūchi Cave, purple eyeshadow-like markings rimmed Kabuto's narrow, serpentine eyes.
He watched the three women suffering in agony and nodded in satisfaction. Gradually, from the duplicate body beside him, a flute materialized.
"Next... once I capture you three, I can use you to threaten Kaoru Uchiha... turning you into my ultimate insurance to save my own life..."
"Susanoo: Yasaka Magatama!!!"
Just as Kabuto prepared to cast genjutsu to take control of Wan'er, Hinata, and Kurotsuchi, a string of magatama beads—patterned exactly like the tomoe of the Sharingan—spun rapidly and shot straight toward him!
"How is this possible?!"
Struck by the bombardment of Yasaka Magatama, Kabuto instantly dissolved into a puddle of liquid and flowed away, narrowly dodging the lethal attack.
"I see now... just like earlier, is it..."
Kabuto stared in shock at Wan'er. Seeing her still standing perfectly unharmed, her Susanoo active and completely unaffected by his White Rage Technique, he seemed to realize the truth.
"No wonder I was inexplicably pulled back to my original position earlier... Your Mangekyō Sharingan ability allows you to control time, doesn't it..."
He murmured softly, his slitted eyes scanning Wan'er, who stood protected by the towering dark giant. A playful smirk spread across his face.
"Right now, you've rewound your own personal timeline... which is why my White Rage Technique had absolutely no effect on you..."
It had to be said: Kabuto was incredibly sharp. After only a brief exchange of moves, he had accurately guessed nearly the full truth behind Wan'er's Retrocognition ocular power.
"However... it is impossible for you to rewind time indefinitely. Otherwise, this technique would be far too overpowered. Which means... sooner or later... you will fall victim to my White Rage Technique!" Kabuto declared with absolute certainty.
"Which means... I just need to defeat you within this window of time!!"
Wan'er's scarlet eyes locked tightly onto Kabuto, her tone icy and sharp.
"Too bad for you..." There was not a trace of anxiety in Kabuto's eyes as he replied.
"Your attacks are completely useless against me—one who possesses the Hiding in Mist Technique, and the Liquefaction Jutsu..."
"Having evolved and transformed myself into a dragon... I have absolutely no fear of your petty little tricks!!!"
"Is that so... then... how about this jutsu...?"
