(Opening)
During lunch break, Nozomi is walking in the hallway with a smile on her face.
As she walks, her blonde hair moves, and her amber eyes scan everywhere. She enters her classroom and sees Reiji sitting and sleeping.
She sees Emiko sitting beside him reading a book. Suddenly, her smile is full of mischief.
She approaches Emiko and asks:
"What are you doing?"
Emiko replies:
"Are you blind?"
She sits on her chair—placed in front of Emiko's bench—and says:
"Aww, you're so mean."
Emiko looks at her and asks:
"What do you want and why are you being so sweet with me, Nozomi?"
Reiji wakes up and yawns while stretching his arms. Nozomi looks at both of them and bluntly says:
"I wanted to ask... Are you two living together?"
Reiji and Emiko look at each other, their faces flushing and eyes widening in no time.
Emiko gulps and says to Nozomi:
"Are you dumb? We don't live together. Why would we do that?"
Reiji nods—agreeing with Emiko—as he says to Nozomi:
"E-Exactly! We don't live together at all. Have you ever seen us talk in the classroom?"
Nozomi smiles and replies:
"I haven't seen you both talking in the classroom but I think... That is a rule you both might have made, isn't it?"
Emiko furrows her brows and says:
"Why would we do that if we don't even live together, huh?"
Reiji says to Nozomi:
"I think you have mistaken us for Rikuya-kun and Noa-san. Remember? There was some kind of rumor that they're living together."
The bell rings and the lunch break is over. Nozomi hopelessly says:
"I think you both are correct. I am sorry for bringing this up out of nowhere."
After school ends, Reiji sits on the couch playing his video game while sipping a cup of coffee.
Emiko is sitting next to him, drinking coffee and reading her book.
The doorbell of their apartment rings. She says to him:
"Hmm..."
He doesn't listen.
She speaks:
"The doorbell is ringing."
He says:
"Haaa?"
She walks towards the door and mumbles:
"He and his video games... Why does he never get tired of playing them?"
The doorbell rings again.
Emiko says:
"Yeah, Yeah! Wait a second."
She opens the door, sees Nozomi standing with a smile, and gasps.
Nozomi says:
"I came here to vi-"
Emiko cuts her off by closing the door and says to Reiji:
"Can you hear me?"
He doesn't listen to her again. She throws a pillow at him in frustration. He looks back and says:
"What happened?"
She replies:
"N-N-N-Nozomi!"
He sighs and replies:
"What happened to her?"
She says:
"N-Nothing happened to her. She's at the door."
He gasps in shock and replies:
"No way, but... how?"
She says:
"I don't know how she got our address."
He replies:
"Neither do I know about it."
After some time, Emiko opens the door again with a suspicious smile on her face. Nozomi enters and asks:
"What took you so long?"
Emiko says:
"Ummm, you see, the apartment was really messed up so I cleaned it a little, hehe!"
Nozomi nods and sits on the couch. Emiko asks:
"If... you don't mind. May I ask... From where did you get my address?"
Nozomi replies:
"I was just following you around."
Emiko says:
"Did you mean stalking?"
Nozomi nods:
"Kind of."
Emiko mumbles:
"Day by day, she's becoming eccentric."
Nozomi looks at her and asks:
"What?"
Emiko smiles and asks back:
"I asked, would you like to eat or drink something?"
Nozomi says:
"One latte if you don't mind."
Emiko falls on the ground speaking to herself:
"GOSH! I don't know how to make a latte. Reiji is the one who always makes coffee for me."
The door of Reiji's room opens and his voice echoes:
"DID SOMEONE SAY THEY WANTED A LATTE?"
He comes out wearing an apron and a fake moustache on his face. His voice, a little changed, as he says to Nozomi:
"I CAN MAKE ONE FOR YOU, MISS!"
Emiko closes her eyes—trying to unsee everything. Reiji starts singing:
"I'M NOT A MORNING PERSON, I'M A COFFEE PERSON... LALALALA!"
Nozomi asks Emiko:
"Who is he?"
Emiko is trying her best to smile when she says:
"Rei-... I mean Robert... His name is Robert... Robert-The Great, you know?"
Nozomi looks at him when he is standing in the kitchen, singing loudly, and making a latte for her.
Nozomi asks Emiko again:
"How long has he been here?"
Emiko replies:
"He came here today. He is our, umm, Family Cook."
Nozomi says:
"THAT'S CO-"
Reiji—who just became Robert—gives the cup to Nozomi and says:
"ThIs iS yoUr LATTE, MiSS!"
Nozomi takes the cup from him with a smile on her face:
"Thank you!"
Reiji says:
"This is Chef Mark signing off for today."
He moonwalks, enters his room, and closes the door.
Nozomi takes a sip and asks Emiko:
"Did he say 'Chef Mark'?"
Emiko gasps, speaking to herself:
"FAAAAHKKKK!"
Nozomi waves her hand to her. Emiko looks at her and replies with a weird smile on her face:
"His first name is Mark... Mark Robert."
Nozomi nods while taking another sip:
"I see!"
Emiko again speaks to herself:
"Ughhhh! You're gonna pay for it, Reiji. Why couldn't you just hide in your room? There was no need for it."
After some time, Nozomi waves her hand while standing in the hallway of the building:
"I'll go now... Thanks for the coffee."
Emiko nods and watches Nozomi walk away. Suddenly, Emiko says:
"HEY! Are you sure now?"
Nozomi asks:
"About what?"
Emiko says:
"About me and Reiji... living together."
Nozomi smiles and replies:
"Yes!"
Emiko sighs thinking:
"I feel go-"
Nozomi cuts her thought and says:
"But, I still suspect your Chef Robert, hehe!"
Nozomi leaves Emiko blank in shock. Reiji pulls her in, closes the door, and says:
"C'mon in... Why the hell are you standing there for no reason?"
Emiko closes her eyes in anger and replies:
"Reason... You say, huh?"
Reiji gulps and replies:
"Yo! I was just..."
Emiko cuts him off by throwing multiple pillows at him and says:
"YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR IT BY MAKING THE DINNER, DOING THE DISHES, AND TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS... AND IF YOU MISSED ANY WORK I SWEAR I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"
Reiji, buried in the pillows, says:
"Umm, it was your day for all this work."
Emiko takes a deep breath and says:
"ALRIGHT! I THINK I'LL HAVE TO TEACH YOU A LESSON TODAY."
Reiji runs towards the kitchen:
"W-Wait! I'll do as you say."
The doorbell rings again. They both look at the door. Emiko says:
"Huh?"
Reiji speaks to himself:
"It must be... her!"
