Chapter 1 - Prologue

Two best friends died in the same accident. Rey and Renz had been inseparable across thirty lifetimes of reincarnation, their bond unbreakable through space and time itself.

Renz possessed 2,305,843,008,139,952,128 of positive karma points (the 8th perfect number), while Rey had only 8128, having just recovered from his past negative debt.

Once again, in the endless cycle of life and death, they stood before the Boundless God, a white featureless being who ruled over all realities and realms.

[The Realm of Death]

Here, every soul remembers everything, their past actions, sins, memories, and lives in this realm. But upon crossing the gate of reincarnation, they are wiped clean once more.

Those with more than the 8th perfect number of positive karma ascend to Nirvana. However, Renz chose to wait for his best friend instead, spending his extra karma points to make Rey's next life easier.

Souls like Rey, who haven't yet reached that level of purity, are sent to random reincarnations.

[Before Reincarnation]

Rey: Yo, Renz, are you gonna spend your karma again just to follow me?

Renz: Yep! Same setup as always.

Rey: (chuckles) It's a shame I can't remember you in our next life… while you still remember everything.

Renz: Yeah. (He sighs softly. They both feel the loneliness that comes from not being able to share memories across lifetimes due to the laws of Samsara.)

Rey: I just hope the next world isn't as boring as the last one.

Renz: Yeah. See you in the next life.

Rey: You too, man.

Rey steps beyond the border of death, then the gate of reincarnation fully steps into the border of life. His soul fades into light, reborn into a random world.

Renzo remains behind, once again meeting the Boundless God.

∆§∆: It's you again. You wish to follow your friend into the same world?

Renz: Yes

∆§∆: Before you go, know this... your friend's fate in that world is far worse. That universe will face destruction because of him.

Renz: What do you mean?

∆§∆: Your friend is destined to rise as a potential Boundless God. But countless threats will come for him. If he fails, his soul will be reduced to a single-cell organism in the next cycle, all his soul's memories wiped clean. A total reset.

Renz: That's unfair!

∆§∆: Yes. Fate and destiny are cruel forces wild, untamed, and even I, the Boundless One, am still chained by them. That's what makes existence so beautifully unpredictable.

And your friend… once he ascends to the divine throne, he cannot enter Nirvana. Here's a spoiler… in his next life, he'll become a ████ ███████ for human ███████████, turned into a ████████ █████.

Renz's heart fills with disgust and anger at the cruelty of humanity.

Renz: (clenching his fists) Can I help him somehow? Can I use my karma points?

∆§∆: Yes. A new feature was recently added, due to popular demand. Many souls are asking for the Gamer System.

Renz: Then sign me up. But I'll become Rey's system. I'll help him ascend into Boundless Godhood. I'll bind my soul to his.

∆§∆: Very well. But know this… you'll become an omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient system… yet heavily restricted. You cannot help him physically. You'll be like a ghost… invisible to all except to him, your host and user. And you will remember all your lifetimes.

Renz: I accept.

Renz is willing to pay any price even his karma points mostly all of it. For Renz, Rey is an irreplaceable friend. Without hesitation, Renz's soul glows brightly. Everything turns white.

Renz awakens in a new form, a cosmic digital being. Power surges through him: omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence, all flowing within his data-like body. He comprehends the conceptual truths of the omniverse and beyond.

Then, the chains of restriction bind him, limiting his abilities.

He glances into a mirror and sees his reflection, a fairy-like digital Navi, glowing with soft blue light.

RENZO: Is this… me?

He turns and sees a baby boy beside him, cradled in the arms of a loving couple.

RENZO: Rey…?

The baby opens his brown eyes and giggles when he sees Renzo. Then he starts crying, frightened by his father, the man's expression whose face is crossed with strange black lines.

Father: How about we name him Reni?

Mother: (gives him a deadpan look as the baby cries louder) Shhh… calm down, Jacob.

At the sound of the name "Jacob," the baby giggles again.

Mother: See that, honey? He likes his name~ Jacob. (smirks teasingly) Your naming sense is terrible.

Father: What's wrong with Reni? It sounds cute!

Mother: Because it's a girl's name, dear. Do you really want to curse your son with that name forever?

Father: Okay, okay, you win. Stop teasing me.

They both laugh warmly, and baby Jacob joins in with soft giggles.

RENZO silently smiles, taking a snapshot of the beautiful family and storing it in his system space, a picture of a new beginning.

─────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────────

RENZO began exploring his new existence as a System, learning how it worked inside and out. He examined his abilities, his functions, and the heavy restrictions placed upon him.

Within his storage space, he discovered a strange book and a feather pen resting beside it. The book's cover read:

"As I Written, The Exomyth."

When he opened it, the pages stretched endlessly, yet only one life was being recorded… Jacob's. Every moment of the boy's existence was being written in real time, each second filling new lines on the blank pages. RENZO quickly realized what it was… a living chronicle of Jacob's story, one that would continue to record the myths of others in some unknowable future.

Curious, RENZO gently placed the picture he had taken earlier of Jacob's family onto the first page. Then he used the feather pen to write the Prologue of Jacob's life, immortalizing the boy's beginning in the Exomyth.

Satisfied, he closed the book and returned it to storage.

He glanced at the sleeping Jacob, a peaceful smile forming on his digital face as he softly brushed his fingers through the boy's thin baby hair.

Days passed. Weeks turned to months. RENZO silently watched Jacob grow, his first steps, his first words, his laughter. He recorded every precious memory in the Exomyth, filling it with photos, moments, and milestones.

Since Jacob's System functions were still inactive, RENZO had plenty of free time. He simply observed, cherishing the quiet peace his friend finally had.

Four Years Later

Time flew swiftly on November 3. Jacob was now four years old, celebrating his birthday with joy and laughter. RENZO captured every moment the cake, the candles, the smiles.

RENZO: "He deserves this… after all the lifetimes of pain. He's always been born into families that hurt him. But this time… this time, he finally has what he wished for a loving family."

A nostalgic smile touched RENZO's face as he remembered the day Rey, now Jacob, had once told him what he wanted to do with his first ten thousand karma points, "I just want a family who loves me."

But deep down, RENZO knew this peace wouldn't last. He could feel the pull of fate's script tightening. And he was right. One month later, the world fell apart.

The Day Everything Burned. The sky split open. Ghidorah and Tiamat descended upon the city, clashing violently against Mothra and Godzilla.

The City and its neighboring ones, crumbled in chaos. Storms, earthquakes, fire, radiation, everything burned. Screams filled the air. New York City was turned to ruin.

RENZO could do nothing. Bound by his restrictions, he could only watch helplessly as the battle consumed everything.

From his hiding place, Jacob saw his mother, Rei, disintegrate by Ghidorah's energy beam. His tiny body trembled.

His father, Alexander Ambrose, a high-profile biologist, grabbed him and ran. By government order, their safety was secured inside a luxury nuclear bunker, one of the few still standing.

RENZO managed to retrieve Rei's soul orb, explaining softly to her fading essence,

RENZO: "I am Jacob's system. I will keep your soul safe."

Rei nodded weakly, and her light faded into RENZO's storage.

Inside the bunker, Alex mourned. Jacob, too young to understand death, simply asked when his mother would come home.

Soon, an agent arrived with orders from high command. Alex was summoned to the surface. He left Jacob in the care of an old family friend, his trusted comrade.

The start of humanity's fall

All over the world, alarms blared. Evacuation orders went global. Major Cities fell. Billions perished.

Godzilla and Mothra, humanity's last guardians, were slain by Ghidorah and Tiamat, whose monstrous roars declared a new reign.

Ghidorah, now King of Monsters, and Tiamat, his Queen, commanded every kaiju on Earth. Humanity was cornered. The Doomsday Clock began its final countdown.

In desperation, world leaders turned to forbidden science. They launched a genetic modification supersoldier project, using Godzilla's and Mothra's cells to create hybrid warriors.

Children between three and six years old were chosen, because of their high activity stem cells and slightly higher 1% survival rate than the Adults had a 0.01% chance of survival.

Among the researchers was Dr. Alexander Ambrose, Jacob's father. As both a scientist and a parent, he refused to harm any children. He refused to give his research data to the high command.

They branded him a traitor to humanity.

Alex was detained. Threats followed. They told him if he refused again, Jacob would become the first "volunteer."

Alex knew it was a trap, either complying or losing his son. His research, his life's work, would be twisted into horror with or without him.

In the end, to protect Jacob, he gave in.

It was his last mistake.

Moments after handing over his data, he was executed.

RENZO silently watched, powerless, as Alex's body fell. He collected his soul orb, storing it beside Rei's.

The Experiments Begin

Jacob was taken from his guardian, labeled as Test Subject #J-355, one of the two thousands of orphans between ages three and six. The girls received Mothra's cells and the boys received Godzilla's cells.

All of them were stripped of their clothes, left in cold labs with nothing but rags.

When the injection began, the air filled with the screams of children. The sound echoed through the halls, even through soundproof walls.

Jacob's small body burned hot... his blood felt like molten lava. His heart struggled to beat.

RENZO watched as Jacob's HP dropped rapidly, slipping toward death.

Frantically, RENZO searched through the Trait Shop. He could gift a trait without system activation, but only at a great cost.

It would consume all his karma points.

He had 33,550,336 left.

Without hesitation, RENZO spent them all, purchasing the "Infinite Adaptability and Endless Evolution" genetic trait.

The moment it integrated, Jacob's vitals stabilized. His pain lessened slightly, and he fell unconscious.

His brown hair turned black with deep navy-blue streaks, and his veins glowed neon blue beneath his skin. End of Day One of the Experiment. The scientists took notes.

Head Scientist: "Look at this one… Test Subject #J-355. His condition's improving faster than the others. Highly adaptive."

Scientist #2: "Out of 9,999 male test subjects, only 2% had died. Most mutated horribly… black scales, uneven muscle growth, glowing veins… monsters. Thankfully, the micro heart-bombs worked as kill switches."

Scientist #3: "On the female side, none have died. No abnormal mutations. They seem to adapt perfectly to Mothra's cells. Especially Subject #A-235(Alina). She's evolving fast."

The Head Scientist smirked, his eyes gleaming with twisted delight.

Head Scientist: "Good. Let's increase their dosage tomorrow and see what happens."

Both assistants froze, a chill running down their spines. They exchanged nervous glances, knowing full well their superior had lost his sanity.

But they couldn't disobey. He was their boss.

And the nightmare was only beginning.
