"Damn it, why is this guy here?"
The moment Fuguki Suikazan realized that his opponent was Yuzuru Uchiha, his fighting spirit vanished.
Though he had great confidence in the Seven Ninja Swordsmen's strength—their combined power was enough to challenge a Kage-level shinobi—but this was different… this was the kind of shinobi who'd never tasted defeat since his debut — the ruthless bastard who had driven the Allied Shinobi Forces into a rout by himself.
Coupled with the fact that Jinpachi Munashi and Ringo were cleanly dealt with by the opponent, Fuguki Suikazan immediately conceived the idea of sacrificing his companions to save himself.
He pointed at Yuzuru and shouted, "Attack that guy first!"
At his command, Kurotsuchi Raiga and the others abandoned their plans to kill Might Guy and the others, charging straight toward Yuzuru.
"Lightning Burial: Banquet of Lightning!"
Raiga thrust both blades into the ground, and several massive thunder dragons surged toward Yuzuru.
Seeing this, Yuzuru's lips curled into a cold smile. A layer of Lightning Release chakra armor instantly enveloped his body.
In the next second, his figure blurred like lightning, tearing through the thunder dragons and appearing behind Raiga.
Bang!
With a powerful elbow strike, Raiga's neck was snapped before he could even react.
"Hiramekarei: Release!"
As soon as the shout came from behind him, a skeletal frame appeared across Yuzuru's body.
Boom!
To everyone's astonishment, the Flounder Blade's attack had no effect at all.
Yuzuru gave his enemy no chance to strike again. Chakra gathered in his hand, forming a spiraling sphere. He slammed the Rasengan into his opponent's chest.
The Long Blade: Hiramekarei flew out of its master's grasp, crashing to the ground with a metallic clang.
Yuzuru looked up— Fuguki Suikazan was already running away.
From the start, he'd planned to sacrifice his teammates for a chance to flee. While the others attacked Yuzuru, he'd already begun his retreat.
What he didn't expect was that his comrades—each possessing the strength of an elite jonin—wouldn't even last ten seconds against Yuzuru.
As he tried to think of a way to escape, a cold voice sounded behind him.
"Kamui."
The moment he heard it, Fuguki felt dizzy. The world spun violently.
Just before losing consciousness, he saw a headless, bloated body fall heavily to the ground.
"Mere grains of sand — not even half my match."
Yuzuru brushed his hands together and sealed away the scattered ninja blades with practiced ease.
Now, there was no need to worry about Kirigakure summoning them back through jutsu.
When he finished, he noticed the eerie silence around him. Looking up, he saw that Obito, Jūzō Biwa, and the others had stopped fighting.
Everyone was staring at him, eyes wide like copper bells, expressions blank with shock.
Yuzuru glanced at Jūzō and Kuriarare Kushimaru. "Keep fighting," he said calmly. "Otherwise, I'll kill you right now."
The utterly plain words made Jūzō Biwa and Kushimaru Kuriarare tremble involuntarily.
They had taken countless lives as shinobi, but they had never encountered anyone like Yuzuru Uchiha.
His strength was simply beyond imagination.
They had seen it clearly—five of their comrades slain as easily as chickens.
The fight had lasted less time than it took Yuzuru to seal the swords afterward.
When neither Jūzō nor Kushimaru moved, Yuzuru turned to his allies. "Obito, Kakashi, Shisui—continue the attack."
"Yes!"
The three answered in unison, excitement gleaming in their eyes as they charged at Jūzō and Kushimaru.
Watching Yuzuru's battle had filled them with indescribable exhilaration.
He was incredible—cool, unshakable, terrifyingly strong.
Even the legendary Seven Ninja Swordsmen were nothing before him.
Someday, they too wanted to reach that level.
Jūzō and Kushimaru fought back, but their focus constantly drifted toward Yuzuru. With a man who could kill them instantly standing nearby, who could truly fight with full concentration?
At first, they had been evenly matched with Obito and his teammates, but that tension soon broke—they were completely suppressed.
"Body Flicker technique!"
Shisui formed hand seals, creating dozens of afterimage clones that surrounded Kushimaru.
When Kushimaru struck, his blade passed harmlessly through the illusions—but when the clones attacked, every strike felt painfully real.
"Chidori!"
Seeing an opening, Obito unleashed his Chidori, piercing straight through Kushimaru's chest.
Watching Kushimaru fall, Jūzō's composure shattered.
Moments later, he too was struck down under the combined assault of Obito, Kakashi, and Shisui.
"Kakashi! Shisui! We killed two of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen!" Obito shouted excitedly.
Kakashi and Shisui grinned in triumph.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen had been famous across the ninja world—Kirigakure's pride and terror. Each wielded a legendary blade and possessed power rivaling that of an elite jonin.
Together, they were said to rival a Kage in strength.
And now, they were dead—defeated by them.
A short distance away, Might Duy, Might Guy, Genma Shiranui, and Ebisu stared blankly, their shock bordering on disbelief.
They could still remember vividly how their comrades had been slaughtered by these same Swordsmen—only for the once-fearsome killers to be wiped out by Yuzuru Uchiha in an instant.
The contrast was staggering, shaking them to their core.
Even more shocking was the sight of Obito and Kakashi finishing off Jūzō and Kushimaru.
"So strong… Even the Hokage himself might not be able to do what Yuzuru just did."
"He's the one who crushed the ninja alliance… I can't even imagine how he became this powerful. No amount of training could reach that level."
"In just a few years, Obito and Kakashi have grown this strong—and all those Uchiha who've been dominating the battlefield lately… What's going on in the Land of Lightning? Why does every ninja who goes there come back completely transformed?"
