Thirty years ago, an explosion of mana flooded Earth — the event known as Reigetsu. From that night,Beasts began mutating into Majū.Some humans awakened Aura Cores, fragments of divine energy which will that let them fight back. Those who survived their awakening were called Hunters.
The strongest united into one order — The Dominion Corps — to maintain Equilibrium between aura, mana, and life
CHAPTER ONE
The wind carried dust and iron.
Every breath hurt.
Sohajin crouched on cracked ground, knuckles bleeding into the dirt.
The sky above wasn't blue — it was silver, swirling, alive with mana.
He'd been told to stand in the Ashen Field for ten seconds.
He'd lasted six.
Kael stood a few meters away, his coat tugged by the storm.
Calm. Watching.
The kind of man whose silence could bury you faster than a grave.
> "You've got four seconds left," he said.
"Don't waste my time."
Sohajin's teeth clenched.
He wanted to answer, but the air pressed on him — like a fist made of gravity.
His aura core screamed.
Blood dripped from his nose, steaming when it hit the soil.
He could hear the bones in his legs crackle.
His veins glowed faintly — red on one arm, blue on the other — his body confused between aura and mana.
"Balance it," Kael said. "You don't fight the storm. You breathe it."
Sohajin's heart was a drum.
He forced air into his lungs.
For a moment, the pressure vanished.
The air bent.
A strand of his blood rose into the wind and turned silver.
The world slowed.
He felt something shift inside — like his soul blinked.
Kael's coat barely moved when he nodded.
> "That's it," he said quietly. "Bleed, then learn."
