Getting out of the facility, making contact with Tatsuya, clearing some confusion, dealing with a criminal organization that hid behind human rights but only using that to attack Magicians more openly .
Getting into contact with the military and being contracted by them, due to how leaving me roam freely could be quite dangerous for them, so they had to put some restrains on me someone, well good luck for them with that .
I had a weird encounter with Major General Saeki and had an interesting conversation with her, one which had given me too many things to think about, that talk helped me clear a lot of doubts as well, but raised some more, I got the same results while talking with Tatsuya as well, even though I believe that I might be the one who confused him, more than he did to me .
In one day, I was able to meet people that I didn't had a clue about meeting them, things just happened and I ended up meeting them, I met a cousin and a few younger cousins, some were in my own age and others were older, met a two younger and quite dangerous cousins as well .
At least I labeled all the people that I had found their family connected to the Yotsuba be blood or by marriage, I was able to finish searching most data banks and even went through a lot of backdoors until I was able to confirm that .
Whether did they have truly accepted me as their cousins or just played along because of the circumstances is still unclear to me, I guess only time will tell, I guess, I wanted to ask her herself for more details about how did the family system worked .
But with her escaping from the hall, like as if I was a plague, left me no chance to ask, she was the reason why those guys had to acknowledge that I'm their cousin whether they like it or not, she was also the last surprising person that I had seen today .
Last, I met the person whom I have always dreamt of meeting, I'm bit having a mixed feelings about meeting her, my heart feel more at ease now, but my brain seemed to be overwhelmed by bad scenarios, like this being a set-up or some kind of play to make me lose my guard .
I was feeling as if this was nothing but another simulation that I was in or some weird dream, this current development of things just felt unreal to me .
Leaving these matters at that, I no longer continued to dwell on the things that have happened before and I didn't want to overwhelm my emotions by overthinking about what might be going to happen in the future as well, I had a current moment of peace and I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest .
Just as I was thinking like that, the new phone in pocket buzzed slightly and I was already able to guess who was trying to contact me, the female officer seemed to have kept an eye on me and only sent some messages after the meeting ended .
The messages she sent were all regarding one thing, how was I able to use her magic, I didn't intend to reply to her at first, but after a while of her continuing to send a huge amount of messages, I wasn't able to let matters keep going on like this, I texted her that I was able to do this due to my unique magic and luckily she didn't ask more details about how I was able to do this .
It wasn't because that I was wary of her knowing about it or anything like that, but it's just that I'm in mood to explain how it worked, after that I was forced to shut down the phone because she was finding her amusement in teasing me about when we were going on a date, I was then back to enjoy my current peace .
The phone after being shut down should have stayed like that, but weirdly enough the screen lit up on its own and she started to nag me about it, so I identified the preach she made in my phone system with her magic and usin that exact same magic, I decided to cut her connection to me completely off, if she wanted to talk .
Then she can only wait until I'm willing to read her messages without trying to hack my phone, I then shut it down again and rested my head on the bed, wondering whether what will my dreams be from now on and whether will that old dream or nightmare come to haunt me again .
As I was thinking like this, I fallen asleep, even though I no longer required to get some sleep to recover my stamina, I still was intent on doing it for the refreshing feeling that this gave me, it let my body and mind have some sort of break and I liked that feeling very much so I allowed myself to indulge in it as much as possible .
I woke up and the first thing that I saw in front of me was the sight of a ceiling that I wasn't familiar with, but as if my brain was still walking up, it took me a few seconds to relize where I was and what was going on here, the first thing I did was to see if my eyes shed any tears, but there was no indication of that being the case .
I sighed and had a smile suddenly appearing on my face, thinking back to when I was sleeping, I found that I for the first time in 13 years, I didn't dream of that nightmarish like dream that kept haunting me for as long as I was able to remember, I finally got rid of it .
I wake up and had a shower, but then I remembered that I had no other set of clothes than the one I attended the meeting with, even my old clothes seemed to have been disposed off by the hands of the house maids, but just as I was in my bath towel, the door was knocked on from the outside .
All I heard next was the voice of the maid telling me that she had prepared a few sets pieces of cloth and she asked my permission to enter the room, I was about to let her in, but remembered that I was half naked currently and just as I was thinking of what to do the girl who had blue hair barging into the room directly .
I was surprised at this sudden kind of development that I wasn't able to react until I saw the expression on the girl's face, the moment she barged in, she was standing there holding set of clothes in her hand while looking at me with quite the weird eyes .
Weird but somewhat familiar to me, seeing her like this, I couldn't help but notice this and also noticed that that the girl had deep red blushes on her face, after witnessing her reacting like that I couldn't help but stare at myself wondering what is wrong,
Then I realized that I was standing there bare chested without any piece of clothes on me and with only the towel strapped around my waist, safekeeping some of my remaining dignity .
I hurriedly used Fabrication and make her see me fully clothed, but that had little to no effect on her current state, she kept looking at me with the same eyes as those women back in the town, I seeing that continuing like wasn't leading us anywhere, I said and infused Psions in my speech as to awake her up from trance :
" Why did you entered the room, did you hear me say that you can enter ? .
The maid woke up from her trance directly and her expression of embarrassment become even more apparent, she directly bowed her head and apologized for her incompetent behavior, she said that she wasn't able to hear me .
She also said that she was just want to help me as per the instructions of the head maid in the Mansion, but she was lying, I was able to tell, due to my close entanglement with the Psions here in the room, I'm able to note every sort of disturbance that might imply her not telling me the truth .
It doesn't work that well on those who are able to control their Psions well, it needed a lot of work and time to allow me using it as a lie detector, but against the maid in front of me, it was more than effective to get results .
Seeing her panicking like this, I understood that there might some cuts in wage or some more severe punishment if I were to report her doing this, so I first calmed her down and said :
" Don't worry much about me reporting it or anything like that, but I still hope that you would still tell me the truth about the real reason you did this, can you ? .
I took the set of clothes from here and she was shorter than me, so I couldn't help but bent my head down a little when I was talking to her, she seeing me get this close was even more stimulating to her, I saw that her face was bright red and she was almost short of breath, I saw that my actions ended up in making her mort uncomfortable and tried to move away .
But surprisingly the girl held my hands directly and said :
I'm Juvia Lockser, the personal maid assigned for the well-being of Ryuu-sama, I hope you don't hesitate to ask me anything .
The girl held my hands and as she did so, I saw that her hands were shaking and so was her body, I was then reminded of my current state and was a bit embarrassed at this close contact, so I too was a bit flustered, but her seeing me like this seemed to have ignited something in her .
Something that forced me to calm her down forcefully by using Fabrication, she calmed down finally, but the expression on her face was still that of an embarrassment, she let go of my hands in a hurry and bowed down again apologizing .
I began to think that I might be in a quite headache kind of situation, I again repeated the question from before, she still hadn't answered it, all that she did tell me was that she was my personal maid and that she was willing to help me with anything that I wished for, though her tone seemed to carry some hidden meaning to it as she said this .
" I know that what you just said wasn't the full truth for why you were here, by the way I'm Ryuu, I used my magic to calm you down just now I hope you don't mind, nice to meet you, but I would still appreciate it for you to tell me what exactly did you came her for .
" Just so that you are aware, I'm able to tell whether you are telling the truth or not .
As I said this and smiled to make her feel more comfortable, the girl was mesmerized again by what she was seeing, I was beginning to think that I might need to attend school while under disguise .
But sadly that won't be possible, after all my mother had already given the Media some pictures of me, which meant that I had no way of keeping my face hidden from the public eyes in the school, one of demerits of being a bit good looking indeed .
I discarded of these thoughts and pushed them aside for now and waited to know what kind of response will she give me, the girl was still quite nervous and wasn't able to muster words to say, but I still gave her enough time to gather her thoughts and courage, after a whole 2 minutes, she finally said :
I was here to see if whether Ryuu-sama looked like the picture in the newspaper and social media .
" Huh ? .
That was my honest reaction at what was being said here, what did she mean by the picture in the newspaper, what social media, what was going on here, the girl got a wrinkled newspaper from her uniform pocket and with shaking hands handed it to me and escaped after saying :
Maya-sama, Tatsuya-sama, Miyuki-sama are waiting for you to join them for breakfast downstairs, I also hope that Master won't be reporting what happened here, I'm really sorry for that, please don't cast me away .
She got out of room, leaving me completely baffled at all that was happening, I discarding of this whole complicated situation, decided to open the newspaper and see what was she talking about .
I opened the newspaper and the article titles about me were quite numerous, The Return Of The Yotsuba's Charming Prince, The Return Of Excellence, The Superior Gene Of The Yotsuba Family Return From Overseas, A Person Sought After By Royalties, First High Freshman King, The Slayer Of Maiden's Hearts .
On and on, I kept reading those article titles and with each title my expression was turning bad, after reading the content of these articles, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, most the information regarding me was completely made up and not by mother, otherwise they would have at least made some sense .
Some of those articles were talking about how I was playful since I was a kid and that resulted in doing some terrible things for my age and was then sent outside of Japan, some said that I went to Europe, other throw me to Africa and other articles talked about how I actually was born was a skin disease and how all that currently look like was nothing but the results of plastic surgery .
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this, but what made me more inclined to do the first, was that I saw that my picture were cut of the newspaper supposedly by those maids, or maybe Juvia was the only one who did so .
Discarding of these articles and their contents without reading the rest, I instead picked a set of clothes, a black fitting shirt and comfortable trousers, combed my hair that was only cut yesterday, yet was already showing signs of starting to grow again .
Seeing that I was ready, I looked in the mirror and directly went downstairs heading for the dining room where I ate before, I noted how relaxed were the number of guards inside the house, other than a few places, there were a lot of places that have no guards in it at all .
I hadn't seen a single one on my way to the dinning room, I went inside and saw that the three mentioned by Juvia were already taking a seat, seeing me open the door, my mother pointed at the seat next to her and opposite to Tatsuya and said :
COME AND TAKE A SEAT .
