Jonathan smiled, his gaze gentle yet deep."Yes. I asked the staff to escort all the actors and the other players outside. You are afraid even of thunder, so how could you dare come into a haunted house?"
Addison shot him a glance, her voice carrying a hint of grievance."I was tricked into coming."
Jonathan frowned slightly, his tone low and warm."Addison, take my hand. I will lead you out."
She hesitated, then gently withdrew her hand from his, her voice soft."No need, Jonathan. I can walk by myself."
Jonathan gave a faint smile, his eyes stopping on the dim blue light ahead."Are you sure?"
