Gabe was originally quiet, but this time he was agitated, so he was even more determined to prove himself.
"Mom, what's wrong with Gabe? I've been calling him for days now, but he still hasn't come out of his room."
Penelope sighed: "He said he wanted to continue studying for the college entrance exam. He's been locking himself in his room all day."
Emma frowned: "What's wrong?"
"He's just as agitated as last time. Tell me, if he really loses his composure, will his direct admission be revoked?" Penelope had advised her son many times, but he didn't listen, and she didn't know what else to do.
"No, Mom. Just let Gabe take the exam. We have to trust him. Even if we doubt him, how are we different from those who doubt him?"
Emma was delighted with her brother's decision. Her younger brother was not a coward; if anyone slapped him in the face, he would retaliate tenfold, a hundredfold.
Since her daughter had said so, Penelope had no choice but to let things be.
