Underground Safehouse
Aiden, Maya, and Valgor stand in a low-ceiling data bunker covered in old monitors. Screens flicker between "reality" and green code. Valgor says: "You think you saw the past? You only saw a mask." Aiden touches a CRT monitor, static rippling outward. The phoenix symbol appears over a digital map.
"Layers of illusion folded over one another."
Code Beneath the World
Valgor jacks a thick cable into Aiden's implant. Aiden's vision shifts to a wireframe city, buildings made of data lattice. Maya's voice echoes: "This is the Matrix behind Neural Eden." Shadows of people move like strings of numbers.
"Under every street, another street of code."
The Blueprint of Eden
Valgor brings up the original Neural Eden blueprint — a massive circuit-mandala. Circles and rivers resemble Egyptian glyphs. Aiden: "It's a temple… not a network." Valgor nods: "Elito built a religion in code." Maya: "And we're its heretics."
"Digital Pharaoh. Digital Nile."
Discovering the Loophole
Aiden sees hidden "maintenance tunnels" in the code. Valgor highlights escape nodes — rare unpatched anomalies. "Think of them as rabbit holes," Valgor says. Aiden: "Into how deep?" Valgor: "Outside time."
"Every prison leaves a crack."
Training Ground
Valgor loads Aiden into a training simulation — empty white void. Weapons, tools, and doors materialize at thought. Maya: "Your implant can rewrite this space if your mind is steady." Aiden summons a flaming phoenix blade from code. Valgor smiles faintly.
"Belief was the real weapon."
Ghost Programs
Phantom figures flicker — old "deleted" citizens who tried to rebel. Their whispers: "Wake up…" Aiden shivers: "They're still here?" Maya: "Souls trapped in code." Valgor lowers his eyes.
"Even failed revolutions left echoes."
Real-World Consequence
Cut to Elito's control tower — alarms light up. Knights of Code detect intrusion. Elito's eyes flicker with green glyphs. "Someone is teaching the anomaly," he snarls. Orders go out to deploy "Pyramidal Sentinels."
"Every hack has a hunter."
Aiden's Awakening
Back in the training ground, Aiden slows time. Bullets of code hang midair. He walks through them, eyes glowing. Maya whispers: "He's starting to see it…" Valgor: "Not just see — shape."
"The Matrix bent under his will."
Seeds of Doubt
Aiden glimpses his own reflection — half Elito's face. Static crackles; voices overlap. "What if you're part of him?" Maya whispers. Aiden clutches his head. Valgor: "Identity itself is code."
"Freedom demanded knowing the jailer inside."
Encounter with a Ghost
One ghost steps forward — older Lacolone from another timeline. "We tried and failed," the ghost says. Aiden: "Show me how to win." Ghost: "There is no win, only loops." Static swallows him.
"Warnings from the dead carried no comfort."
Discovery of the Vault Key
Valgor decodes a fragment: coordinates to the Vault's true entrance. Aiden writes them on his skin again. Maya: "This leads beyond the Eden grid." Valgor: "And maybe to the Organization itself." Alarm sirens inside simulation.
"Keys always call their keepers."
Code Attack
Pyramidal Sentinels breach the training ground. Their bodies like scarabs of glowing hieroglyphs. Aiden draws his phoenix blade. Maya fires digital arrows. Valgor overloads the grid.
"The Pharaoh sent his hounds."
Escape through the Rabbit Hole
A maintenance door appears — a swirling corridor of glyphs. Valgor: "Go! It's unstable!" Aiden grabs Maya's hand. They leap as sentinels slash. Corridor collapses behind them.
"Freedom through cracks."
Outside the Grid
They fall into a black ocean of code. Stars overhead flicker into analog constellations. Aiden: "Is this… the Vault?" Valgor: "No. This is the path to it." A phoenix feather floats past.
"Beyond illusion lay myth."
Plan for Contact
Back in reality — Resistance bunker. Aiden on the floor trembling but alive. Maya wipes blood from his ear. Valgor whispers: "We've got the path." Lacolone: "Then the Organization is real."
"Belief hardened into mission."
Walid's Warning
Walid stands at the doorway, silhouetted. "You're playing with forces older than you know." "Even Pharaoh drowned by his own river," he murmurs. Aiden nods but says nothing. A clock behind them strikes 13.
"Time itself objected."
Preparing for the Vault
Resistance suits up — analog gear, EMP blades, encryption talismans. Maya kisses a small photo of her family. Jessica laughs nervously: "No turning back now." Valgor locks a case around Counter-Eden Prime. Aiden whispers to himself: "I'll see what's outside."
"The road to the Organization opened."
