"What…? Something like this actually exists?" The Guild Master's brows furrowed as he listened to Kael's recounting. In his mind, he quickly pieced things together. Another world… Edoras?
All he knew were Porlwska and Mistoga, who hailed from that world. He hadn't expected another Fairy Tail member—Lisanna—from yet another world to arrive. Though his knowledge of that world was limited, he understood why Mistoga had been allowed to join Fairy Tail: Porlwska had vouched for him. That gave the Guild Master peace of mind. After all, friends like the Blue Pegasus members—Guild Master Bob, former councilor Ajima, Porlwska, Rob, and others—had been close to him since the beginning, like family.
"Master, this needs to be reported to the Council. With our two Saint Ten identities, they'll definitely take this seriously," Kael suggested.
"Hm… yes." The Guild Master nodded solemnly, a heavy seriousness on his face.
He would take full responsibility for this matter. Even now, the thought of what could have happened if Kael hadn't accompanied Mirajane sent chills down his spine. Just imagining the children's potential deaths made his chest tighten painfully.
Kael watched the Guild Master tremble slightly with self-blame, realizing he wasn't as composed as he seemed. Yet as the head of the family, he had to stand strong.
"Master, we've grown now. Leave it to us. Or… why don't you hand the Guild position over to me for a while? Not to Laxus—anyway, I'm stronger than him. Think about it, Master." Kael whispered this in the Guild Master's ear with a sly grin.
"You brat! If Laxus hears that, he'll demand a duel."
"Hmph. I'm not afraid of him."
"Don't worry. I can still protect everyone. You don't need to be in the front line."
They exchanged a knowing smile. In the Guild Master's eyes, there was deep relief.
In the eastern forest cabin… the next day.
After a thorough check, Porlwska informed them that Lisanna was likely to wake up today. Everyone's tension melted away, replaced with smiles. Kanna, Levy, and others remained in the cabin to watch over her.
Unfortunately, Mirajane and Natsu wouldn't be back until tomorrow.
With Kael's magic fully restored, he planned to go meet Mirajane and Natsu. Just as he unleashed Observation Magic to locate them, shock froze him in place. One hand remained outstretched, completely devoid of magic reaction.
"What's wrong, Kael? Haven't you fully recovered?" the Guild Master asked, concern lining his voice.
Kael's Observation Magic now extended across the entire Fiore Kingdom, an immense expansion of range. Instantly, he sensed Mirajane and the others' positions.
"I'm fine, Master. I'll be back soon," Kael said. His words barely left his lips before his figure vanished. Moments later, a light sphere appeared in the same spot.
Mirajane, Natsu, and the others emerged alongside it. Though startled and slightly disoriented, they rushed into the cabin without hesitation, eager to check on Lisanna.
"That boy… has he grown stronger again?" the Guild Master thought quietly to himself.
Lisanna stirred, mumbling sleepily, "Nee-chan… Ni-chan… be careful…"
"We're here, we're here," Mirajane and Elfman replied, each holding one of Lisanna's hands tightly, their hearts aching.
Natsu and the Lisannas watched anxiously from nearby.
They remained by the bedside, keeping watch. By the afternoon, just as Porlwska had predicted, Lisanna awoke.
Although awake, her personality differed greatly from the Lisanna of this world—quieter, more reserved, with a gentle, introverted demeanor.
Seeing the familiar yet strangely different Mirajane and Elfman, as well as the others from this world, she gazed around in confusion, saying nothing.
It was Kael who stepped forward to explain the current situation, helping Lisanna grasp the events. Observing her unfamiliar expression, Kael realized she probably didn't know whether she had officially joined this world's Fairy Tail yet.
Gradually calming, Lisanna quietly described the personalities of members in her original world. The others were astonished.
Natsu and Gray, hearing about their counterparts' relationships in the other world, exchanged nervous glances, shivering, and quickly looked away.
Mirajane watched Lisanna's expressions, smiling as deep affection and longing shone in her eyes. She silently made a decision in her heart.
When Lisanna saw Erza from this world, she immediately clung to Mirajane's shoulder, terrified. The group was surprised until they learned that in her original world, Erza had been an adversary.
Erza, disappointed, squatted silently by the doorway. Kael gently patted her shoulder, offering silent comfort.
That evening, the guild members organized a feast in the clearing outside the cabin. Around the central bonfire, laughter and conversation filled the air.
Mirajane had stepped away to handle a matter, leaving Elfman and the two Lisannas slightly anxious as they glanced toward the door.
"Hey, hey, hey, Mirajane, what's with that outfit?" a guild member said, astonished by Mirajane's soft pink dress, her hair down except for a small tuft standing up. She looked even gentler than usual, smiling kindly.
"Just normal dress… not bad, right?" Mirajane replied sweetly, approaching Elfman and the Lisannas. She pulled them into a warm embrace.
"You're all safe… that's wonderful," she murmured, holding them close.
But just as she straightened, an ice bowl fell squarely on her face. Natsu and Gray laughed mischievously.
"Haha! Missed! Gray, you still need more practice with your aim!" Natsu teased.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Shocked by your lousy aim?" Gray stammered, nervous.
"Both of you normally fool around, but now… are you trying to die?" Mirajane's latent dark magic surged, and a single punch sent both flying into the dirt.
She took a deep breath, calm returning, and turned to smile sweetly at the others. The guild erupted in laughter, amused by Natsu and Gray's antics.
Lisanna couldn't help but giggle. In her heart, she realized that despite two different worlds and contrasting personalities, Fairy Tail was still Fairy Tail, and family was still family.
"Nee-chan, no matter your personality, you're my sister."
"I just… I just wanted you to be…"
"I know. Thank you, Nee-chan."
Laxus, arms crossed, watched the scene quietly, a faint smile on his face, his gaze fixed on Mirajane's joyful expression.
