A New Yet Familiar World
Before meeting kazuma and the others we will go back a little to where ruko as woken up.
The wind brushed against Ruko's face as he slowly woke up.
Warm air, soft grass beneath him, birds singing. It was too peaceful. Too… suspicious.
He sat up, blinking at the wide-open sky. "Where the hell… am I?"
His body felt lighter, stronger—but different. When he looked down, his clothes had changed: a sleek black outfit, light armor, and faint glowing marks etched across the sleeves.
Then he saw his reflection in a puddle.
"…What the—why do I look like Kazuma's twin brother, but darker?" He tilted his head. "Damn… I actually pull it off, though."
He chuckled softly before sighing.
"Okay, Ruko. You died, got sealed, and now you're in a freaking anime world. Nice."
A sudden voice echoed faintly in his mind—one he hated already.
'Let's see how you handle life without your full power…'
"Yeah, thanks a lot, Sealer," he muttered. "You could've at least given me a map, you—ugh."
When he finally stood, he spotted something familiar in the distance—an adventurer town, complete with stone walls and flags. But what caught his attention was the chaos outside its gate.
"Hey, Aqua! Don't waste all the holy water again!"
"I'm purifying! Stop rushing me!"
Ruko froze mid-step. His jaw dropped.
"…No way. That's them."
Kazuma. Aqua. Darkness. Megumin.
All bickering like it was just another Tuesday.
He rubbed the back of his head and sighed.
"So I'm really in Konosuba, huh? Great. Just my luck." After some thinking he come to conclusion. "Wait if I have the same resemblance as Kazuma don't that mean I'm he's brother or a twin, well it doesn't matter."
Then, something flickered—like a pulse in his mind.
System Fragment Detected… Skill: "True Copy" (Fragmented).
Ruko's heart skipped. "Wait—True Copy? I thought that got sealed!"
He looked down at his palm, faintly glowing before fading away.
"…Guess not everything's locked. Heh, nice try, Sealer."
A brief flash of memory appeared: the Sealer's cold eyes, the strange symbols circling his body, and her voice—"You'll awaken your skills when you're ready."
He clenched his fist. "Ready my ass… I'll figure it out myself."
The wind shifted again, carrying the sound of Aqua screaming in the distance.
Ruko smirked.
"Alright, Konosuba… let's see what kind of chaos you've got for me."
He started walking toward the them, muttering under his breath,
"This world's about to get interesting. Real damn interesting."
