Selthia blinked. For a moment, she couldn't believe her eyes.
"W-What…. What are you doing here?" she asked as she let out a shaky breath.
Her legs trembled, and she collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily with her hand on her chest. When she saw Persephone appear in front of her, she thought that was it.
With her body trembling uncontrollably, she stared up to look at the back of the figure who saved her.
The first thing she saw was a pair of moth wings and beautiful white hair that flowed with the wind.
"Khalissi?"
Selthia could hardly believe her eyes. Her savior was the demon. At the last second, she had intercepted the attack, saving her life.
Khalissi stood, holding Persephone by the wrist, an amused smile playing on her lips.
Persephone looked at the smile on the demon's face, and she couldn't help but feel agitated.
"You're the demon that was causing trouble before," Persephone said.
"And you're one of Aphrodite's girls," Khalissi shot back.
