Cassian spoke with a subtle calmness. I think the reason he seemed calmer than before was because he thought I would try to run away. Now that he saw that I had no intentions of escaping, he was free to take his time.

Cassian slowly continued to walk towards me with no concern for Cerberus growling in front of him. Every footstep was slow and deliberate. I didn't react and only continued stroking Cerberus's fur.

"You don't seem too afraid. Is this really the case or are you just putting on an act? Well, it doesn't matter, we'll find out soon enough." He said.

I continued to watch him walk towards me without moving an inch from my seat.

"Are you ready, Cerberus?"

With Cerberus's approval, I finally got up from where I sat. The full moon covered me in its rays. It felt like electricity was coursing through every inch of my body.
