While the three Pokémon were entangled with Noctowl and their attention was diverted, Tetsu quickly approached the group of Snorunt. He then took out the stone bowl, which contained something very fragrant. The aroma began to drift, floating further and further away.
When Eichi launched his attack earlier, all the Snorunt had huddled closer to the Glalie. Only a few exceptionally bold ones hadn't moved. Conveniently, Tetsu's target was one of these. This Snorunt was lying right where it was, sleeping, as if the commotion outside had nothing to do with it.
Suddenly, its nose twitched, and it abruptly opened its eyes, sniffing again. It smelled an incredibly attractive scent. It hadn't eaten yet and felt a little hungry, so it started taking small steps, following the direction of the fragrance.
The Snorunt left without being noticed by any other Pokémon. Everyone's attention was fixed on the battle between the three Pokémon and Noctowl. The three defending Pokémon were quite strong. Noctowl clearly knew its objective, so it avoided direct confrontation, instead employing a constant harassing strategy: If you attack, I'll dodge, then I'll attack you back.
Seeing the target take the bait, Tetsu was overjoyed. He took the stone bowl and slowly walked toward a corner. The Snorunt followed the scent and arrived at a corner enclosed by tall ice blocks. The Snorunt's eyes lit up. In the corner, it found the target, the source of the enticing aroma. It scampered forward and took a bite, It's really delicious. It then forgot itself and began to devour the food.
Just as the Snorunt was eating, two figures appeared not far away from it.
When the Snorunt finished eating, it was very happy. It suddenly noticed two dark shadows on the ground and looked up. Tetsu and Ampharos were watching it.
"Snorunt, are you full?" Tetsu asked. "If you're full, then let's have a battle. If I win, you'll become my Pokémon."
Snorunt understood that this human wanted to take it away. It took a fighting stance, looking at Ampharos with a face full of battle spirit.
Although Snorunt hadn't verbally agreed, Tetsu knew it had accepted based on its actions. "Then I'll take that as a yes," he said with a smile.
The moment he finished speaking, the Snorunt's eyes glowed with an orange-red light. Ampharos saw this, but the attack had no effect. This move has level limitations, and the difference in levels between the two Pokémon was too great, rendering the move ineffective.
Snorunt didn't care. Seeing that Leer didn't work, it used its second move. It took a deep breath and then blew out a gust of wind mixed with white snow.
"Ampharos, dodge it!"
Ampharos swayed its body, easily avoiding Snorunt's Powder Snow attack. However, Snorunt clearly didn't give up, blowing more Powder Snow at Ampharos.
"Ampharos, use Thunder Shock!"
Ampharos looked at the incoming Powder Snow and began to attack. Beams of Thunder Shock collided with and canceled out the Powder Snow. The remaining electricity hit the Snorunt, which could not dodge.
It cried out in pain and fell to the ground. However, it endured the pain and, climbed back up to continue the attack.
I can't drag this out any longer. The longer this takes, the more danger Eichi will face, Tetsu thought.
"Ampharos, use Thunder Shock, but with less power!" Tetsu commanded.
Ampharos nodded, focusing its power. A beam of Thunder Shock neutralized all of Snorunt's attacks, then struck the Snorunt again. This time, even as Snorunt endured the pain, it did not cry out. Snorunt wanted to get up and continue attacking, but Tetsu did not intend to give it a chance.
"Ampharos, use Thunder Wave!"
Ampharos launched a weak electrical current that struck Snorunt, paralyzing it. Unable to move, Snorunt watched as Tetsu pulled an empty Poké Ball from his pocket and threw it. The Poké Ball hit the Snorunt, opened, and the Snorunt was converted into a red light and drawn inside. The Poké Ball fell to the ground, and the button in the middle glowed white.
Ding.Ding.Ding.
After three sounds, the Poké Ball stopped shaking. Snorunt had been caught.
Tetsu rushed over, picked up the Poké Ball, and smiled at Ampharos. "I caught Snorunt!"
Ampharos clapped its hands, congratulating Tetsu. However, their joy was short-lived as Noctowl's cries suddenly came from a distance. Tetsu turned around and saw Noctowl, but it was in poor condition and covered in injuries. Behind it, several Glalie were chasing.
Tetsu realized what was happening. This is bad. The Glalie are back. He quickly returned Ampharos to its Poké Ball and rushed toward the cave exit.

Let's rewind the time a little.
Eichi led his three Pokémon to draw the Glalie out. Fortunately, all three of his Pokémon were quite fast. Eichi couldn't just run away; he had to buy time for Tetsu. However, he also couldn't directly confront them. The Glalie leader was terrifying, and its Talent Grade was Outstanding. Furthermore, there were too many of them, with over twenty Glalie and Froslass in pursuit.
Eichi found a place and hid. He activated his Bug Force, wrapping it around his skin to conceal his presence.
Outside, the Glalie and Froslass searched everywhere for Eichi. Since they couldn't find him, the Glalie leader became agitated, constantly using Ice Beam in all directions. The area, already full of ice, now had even more.
After using Ice Beam, the Glalie started to head back. However, Eichi didn't agree with that. How much time has passed? He had Beedrill and Scizor use Agility to move to two different positions and launch Pin Missile attacks. Just as the Glalie and Froslass were about to return, a barrage of light needles shot out from the left and right. Several of them were hits, but the leader didn't even bother to dodge, taking the attack head-on.
It was now very angry. After the attack ended, the Glalie started gathering energy in its mouth. Eichi, sensing a strong energy fluctuation from a distance, thought, This is bad. The Glalie actually knew the move Hyper Beam.
Once enough energy was gathered, the surrounding Glalie and Froslass retreated a short distance. Then, the Glalie leader fired Hyper Beam at its surroundings, sweeping the area.
Under the attack of Hyper Beam, all the surrounding ice blocks were destroyed and shattered. Some of the ice blocks were quite large, and because Eichi was close, he became a target of the attack. Beedrill, Scizor, and Heracross jointly used Protect, and a huge green barrier shielded Eichi.
He and his three Pokémon crouched on the ground. Even after the Hyper Beam was used, the Glalie leader still hadn't found Eichi.
