"Three hundred," a man from the back called out, probably an upcoming Mafia empire, or a delegate for a forthcoming empire in Mafia, because the face wasn't familiar.


"Five hundred," another man from the back called out.


I didn't bother to find out who he was; I just needed my merchandise sold and to buy something else profitable from this auction.


"Five hundred, going once…" the host announced.


"One thousand," another voice called out.


"One thousand going once, going twice and sold."


The lady from Sicily was sold to him. We didn't get enough bidders on her; I didn't expect much with her appearance either.


"The second item for exhibition is a lady from Danbury, Western province of Dalton. She is a little bit feisty, but she is strong," the host announced, chuckling.
