Debbie is totally obssessed with this kind of stuff. She bothers to join science clubs when she was younger but unlike to international schools it would have been much better.
Also, it will be limited if she only went for a total science domain but rather she immerse herself to journalism, english communications and history. In such ways, she may have a wide access to the general record of all her interest and in addition, it can be very useful to her future career.
She doesn't like mathematics, however, statistics and geometry is fine, arithmetic is mildly okay but for science she likes most of it. Astrology and earth science is her sweet cake, biology, anatomy and physiology are her ice cream, statistics and logic are her favorite dark chocolates, psychology is her croissants, linguistics is her sweet apples, sociology, anthropology and archaeology are her cinammon rolls. In physics she only love light and colors mostly, the wavelengths and the prism but not formulas so that makes it her candies and anthology her Lanzones.
"I want to know more about the stump of the giant trees," she muttered, where she was still doing research about those stuff. She stood up and prepare to go to work.
According to a certain historical records found inside a cave at the shore of the dead sea. Giant trees were cut off thousand of years ago. We can consider it as a myth but stump of giant trees are found all over the world.
They arrivedat the location. The atmosphere surrounding the area was already heavy and unstable. She can feel eyes watching them along the way before they have reached the site. Eyes that soon focused its gaze to her. She keeps wondering how and why she gets spotted so easily in the first place. There is something in her that draws their attention and sort her from the crowd.
She can only sense danger. It was a huge abandoned catholic church on the top of the mountains, perfect place as a shrine to honor God, with a convent seated beside it and an old watchtower. Although the watch tower was built precollonially prior to the church and then the convent.
The props team was so busy. She caught herself watching Liam who is working quietly with the other coworkers. 'He seems pretty normal when you just sit here and watch him like this' she thought.
Their conversation is half done. The terms and conditions for both sides was not yet given though the deal is already running. If he wants to pay a debt or protect her why do they need to date? The last conversation ended with giving each other time to create their own rules and then presented it. It is almost like business.
"Hey, Debbie. Wanna go see the casting of the project?" Idang said. She is a coworker who like to use her childhood name at work. She always say it makes her comfortable everytime she heard her nickname.
Debbie is hesitant to wonder that much around the site because of her condition and also because some actresses especially the main actress have a crush on Liam and they might have heard the rumors about them.
It will be official soon, without romantic feeling, just pure needs.
Before she was able to say no to Idang. Debbie was dragged infront of the area where the cast are. Idang is pretty strong.
Now, she felt like a prey in a predator's territory.
The room was filled with colorful attires and accesories, makeup tools, and a strong scent of perfume. People who are busy doing the hair, the makeup and the outfit. Some spared them a glance while others are too busy to do so.
"Look at the protagonist," Idang pointed and as expected a famous, handsome highly payed celebrity is what she can see. Of course the whole department failed to make persuade Liam to be the protagonist. Instead of adoring him, her scripwriter instinct pops out and critic the selected species instead.
She have another actor in mind that will perfectly fit to the role and that is...
"Liam is a much better choice" Idang remarked.
She took a pause she really have someone in mind however the thought of Liam doing the exact introduction scene of the story seems top tier. Since introduction will bring the audience into curiousity and at the same time it is also the part that will gives off the aura and charisma that is needed for the audience to love and be hooked up with the story.
Audiences are important. They are golden lovely creatures.
"Oh, here you are," they do not notice the arrival of the main director, Mr. Chin with their boss, Mister Johnsons and his secretary Ms. Gomez.
"Come with us, kid. We are going to introduce you to the town's chief," Mr Johnson said. Freeing her from Idang, "Aida, I'll borrow her for now," says the boss. Aida is Idang's real name.
They went to the patio of the convent near the abandoned catholic church. Thy fix that spot so the important people will have a good space to stay, feast and talk for a while.
There are other personnel but mostly the bosses.
It was great, especially the official of the region who is overseeing the area was there to meet the whole team. Her boss introduce her to him, she felt a little uncomfortable.
'A typical employee meetinth highr heirarchy itseems out of place' she thought. Debbie is not a fan of interacting with people with higher positions even at the church. There is 5 important offices. The person she had a conflict with is one of that 5 special office. A nobody against the supremes, a scribe verses the official. Perfectly terible.
"Good day, miss.." The mayor greeted extending his hand for a handshake
"Deborah," she gave her name, and extending hers as well.
"I heard you are the one who wrote this project. Maharlika productions realy have the most outstanding project for years. I can see why they are hiring young, pretty talents." He said.
The mayor have a smooth way of words. As expected to politicians they should have the characteristics of diplomats and simultaneously, liars.
Behin him was a huge demon. Debbie was hiding the fact that se can see it.
This guy had gain a guardian demon, where it suppose to be guardian angels. When guardian angels had been hurt so much because the person they are guarding had chose to be wicked than to be good. They leave, even people do that, if you are going to be a punching bag for good, you leave. and there you have it you have a personal guardian devil. So, don't wonder why some people do not have any conscience in doing something horrendous. There is no longer a voice that keeps on telling them the right thing to do.
She had never seen her guardian angel ever or has it ever bother itself to have an attempt to show itself to her? ('It' shows not determining gender).
She stopped. She smell something terrible. An awful smell of sewage but no one ever flinched nor noticed.
Her spiritual sense of smell has been activated and detecting something again like antennas. In touch, it doesn't mean its not tangible, it is not existing. Like the eyes it doesn't mean it is not visible it is not existing, in smell it have the same concept.
Then she finally understand what is happening. The spirits around the area starts pooling. Something they did not do earlier. Though they were initially there but the awful smell of the sewage was just recent. Then the dirty smell like sewage spread more as it moves closer to them yet thg people around her were all cluless. It came like wolves hovering and the leader is the demon leading the pack.
She want to close her eyes to pray. Can she do it infront of her bosses? Definitely not but her head is filled with the unspoken prayers
'My dear, Lord help me,' she pleaded in her head.
The wife of Mister Johnsons came together with their todler and behind her was the infant's guardian angel. It drove them away.
It was still an anwered prayer. Anything to stop an almost heart and spirit attack. She never encounter a spirt attack before or was she not conscious when it happens? Probably its the one that always protecting her yet those are the same things that she doesn't known or seen before.
If she already have someone that is protecting her, does she still need Liam's offer?
