Chapter 43 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 43

chastise Primary Unit Grayfia telling her that Nightshade and Sunblossom while they are the mansions chefs they are individuals with Sunblossom being a busty Light Elf and Nightshade being A busty Dark elf, and are not part of any collective so should not be referred to as units. then Approve Rachel's spacetime milk collector as a high priority and ask the twins to create a prototype immediately along the Security Collective's enhanced reaction time gear, prioritize whichever could be finished fastest

You raise your hand, silencing the room as all eyes turn to you. Your gaze falls on Primary Unit Grayfia, whose perfect posture doesn't falter under your scrutiny.

"I need to correct you on something, Grayfia," you state firmly. "Nightshade and Sunblossom are not units of any collective. They are individuals—Sunblossom is a Light Elf and Nightshade is a Dark Elf. While they serve as the mansion's chefs, they maintain their individuality. Please address them accordingly."

Grayfia bows deeply, her silver-white hair cascading forward. "I sincerely apologize for the error, Mistress. The Maid Collective's integration protocols occasionally create categorical overclassification. I will update our reference parameters immediately."

"That said," you continue, turning to address the entire room, "I approve Rachel's spacetime milk collector as a high priority project. Fiona, Felicia—I want a prototype immediately."

The twins exchange excited glances, their auburn hair bouncing as they nod enthusiastically.

"We've actually been experimenting with dimensional pocket technology in fabric," Fiona reveals, pulling a small square of shimmering material from her sample case.

"This is perfect timing," Felicia adds, spreading the fabric across the conference table. "The milk collector would serve as an ideal proof of concept."

"Commander Athena," you pivot, addressing the Amazon leader, "what's your timeline for the enhanced reaction time gear?"

Athena stands at attention. "With proper resources, preliminary prototypes could be field-ready in approximately thirty-six hours, Mistress."

"And the milk collector?" you ask the twins.

"With Rachel's direct participation for calibration, we could have a working prototype by this evening," Fiona responds, already sketching designs on her tablet.

"Then the milk collector takes immediate precedence," you decide. "Commander Athena, I still want your gear prioritized as soon as the initial milk collector prototype is functional."

"Understood, Mistress," Athena acknowledges with a crisp nod.

"Maxine," you continue, "I want you to supervise both projects. Your expertise in transformation energy will be crucial for optimizing the designs."

"With pleasure," Maxine purrs, adjusting her glasses. "I've been wanting to experiment with spacetime pocket dimensions for some time now."

Victoria makes a note on her tablet. "I'll allocate whatever resources are needed. The marketing potential for both technologies is substantial."

"Excellent," you conclude. "Let's reconvene when the milk collector prototype is ready for demonstration. Twins, bring Rachel to your workshop immediately and begin calibration."

As the meeting disperses, Marion lingers by your side. "An interesting priority choice," she observes, her amber eyes studying you. "The milk collector seems mundane compared to combat gear, yet you've prioritized it."

"Sometimes the mundane offers unexpected advantages," you reply with a knowing smile. "Besides, happy maids make for a well-run household."

"Indeed," Marion agrees, a slight smirk playing on her crimson lips. "And a well-run household is the foundation of any successful empire."

Rebecca approaches with her tablet. "I've drafted preliminary schematics for the dimensional stabilizer component," she offers. "Would you like to review them before I begin fabrication?"
