Next morning I woke up to a ray of sunshine and yesterday's event flashed through my mind, my anxiety crept in and at the verge of opening my eyes... I hoped for everything to be a dream... to find myself on my comfy bed.
I opened up to find myself in an unfamiliar place, the hope I gathered shattered at once, what should I do now... why am I even here.
I was still contemplating on myself and what to do when the door opened with a bang, I turned my gaze just to see two men in black walk in..
Miss breakfast is ready! how could this people talk about food after what they've put me through, or are they trying to poison me" am I that easy to kill. gosh I'm doomed...my stomach boiled from anger" I looked at the men with pity written on my face, hoping for them to show understanding.
One of the men spoke Miss up with annoyance" please don't make things difficult for us.... Boss won't tolerate nonsense.
"Damn it" I just wanted the men to assure me I won't die from eating, why bring up that Demon" well I did forget about that devil's incarnate, I nodded and walked out with them.
We got to the dinning and I was led to a sit, there I saw a middle aged woman who should be in her Forty's and a Young lady who should be in her twenties, she looked delicate with her hair tied In ponytail" she bore a resemblance to that demon... just her Aura was light, I quickly averted my eyes when she turned to me, her gaze was so intense as if she wanted to see through my soul
The silence was finally broken when the middle aged lady spoke up! Kael is busy so he can't join us for breakfast feel free and fill yourself up, you can call me Aunt Gaby and the young lady is Elena" I nodded, I'm flower nice to meet you all! Elena cut in... are you sure you are pure and delicate as a flower?w staring coldly at me.
Aunt Gaby cut in by sliding me a plate of toast bread with topping of tomato cucumber with soup and juice along side also there was a plate of pasta the aroma was so mouth watering that my stomach growled; I quickly took a bite to avoid that awkward stare at least everything seemed calm.
I only took few bite before the main door was pushed open, Kael walk in and took a sit across me, behind him was a man drenched in blood; blood oozing from his face with his body covered with fresh wound" he looked terrible like a burnt offering." the sight of it got me nauseous, I quickly looked away and didn't dare to look at the man or Kael.
Kael ordered the man to speak, which he did while trembling" I'm sorry flower i tried to eliminate you on our way to ka-kael darkfire" I'm I'm so sorry please spare me" I was paid to do it... my mom has cancer and I needed the money for her treatment" I... I promise to be forever indebted to you if you spare me."
I was surprised to figure out that he was Andrew, my father's most trusted driver how did he end up like this? he looked disfigured. I once had a crush on him cause of how handsome he looked what a pity" he could never recover from this, gosh he even tried to kill me... left me stranded... such sacrifice just to save his mom."
Andrew sobbed uncontrollably as he portrayed repeatedly, I was jotted back to reality when Kael asked" what do you think; should I kill him or spare him?
What" why would Kael ask for my opinion or is he giving me a chance, maybe he has a good relationship with my dad and he wouldn't dare hurt me! I should have seen through him yesterday when he killed his men for me, I looked at Andrew who looked miserable I think he got his karma, this should be enough revenge and I wouldn't want to have blood on my hands... also for old time sake he was desperate so it's understandable.
I looked up to Kael with boldness" I want you to spare him, you should understand he was desperate." Kael gave a dark smirk and chuckled at same time, his reaction got me confused... is he softening up to me... maybe this was a test of my kindness and I didn't let him down." with proudness I thought of this.
Kael stood up and groaned between words "you fool" I was startled; why was he suddenly calling me a fool, Kael Walked to me held my hands and pressed down hard on it." in between pains I felt my hands break I cried in pain; wiggling my body for him to let go;
how suspicious of you Kael said" he let go of my hands, and I quickly retracted it not caring for my hand pain." I was covered in fear and trembled, what was I thinking Kael asking for my opinion all of a sudden, turns out he set me up! I looked down as I didn't want to infuriate him more.
He called one of his men Cole" Cole walked to me and lifted my face to Andrew; let me show you how it's done said Kael" as he walked up to Andrew he slipped a knife from his pocket and started peeling the other side of Andrews face" I was terrified as I wanted to look away but Cole held my face firmly. as I watched in horror." Andrew cried in pains, this is more than hell; I just wanted to disappear but couldn't.. tears ran down my face, suddenly Kael dragged me with his bloody hands he handed me the knife and ordered me to skin Andrews neck... taking his life! I trembled and fell on my feet as I cried while begging him to spare me, I've never killed before and I wouldn't want to kill. please spare me I can do anything" Apart from this, he smiled demonically at me, he held my hand with the knife and controlled my hand while skinning Andrews neck he laughed like a maniac while Andrew screamed with his last breathe" I felt like to passing out I wanted death but couldn't find it, finally slitting Andrew throat before letting my hand go.
My mouth opened in shock refusing to close, what bothered me most was the way no one stopped Kael, Elena smiled excitedly.. while Aunt Gaby showed no emotions." She continued eating as if nothing was happening.
I watched as Andrews lifeless body dropped to the ground" this is what betrayers get." lock her up and starve her for two days for being such a fool Kael ordered" I was dragged by Cole to a room made of iron as the iron door got locked behind me, I felt my soul leaving me did I just kill I couldn't feel myself as my body went numb and suddenly collapsed with a loud thud" and blanked out.
