Chapter 23: Happy Merry Christmas Everyone ♡
This chapter is a Christmas special, everyone.
Happy Merry Christmas. I hope you spend it with those you cherish ♡♡♡.
Pilea glanced at herself in the mirror. She was dressed in a black-and-white gown, simple yet elegant. Her hair was left loose, flowing down her back, with a cute black bow placed on the left side of her hair.
From the mirror, she sighted Androsen standing behind her.
"Th-This is…" she began, but before she could finish, Androsen spoke.
"What do you think?" he asked calmly. "Pretty good, right?"
The room was huge, filled with different gowns and dresses of all colors and styles. A large mirror stood in the center, and by the left side was a makeup stand neatly arranged. The walls were painted white and gold, giving the room a soft, luxurious glow.
He gently held her shoulders.
"This is your new wardrobe from now on."
Pilea glanced at the wardrobe, stunned by how full it was.
"Since you are my blood servant," he continued, his tone indifferent, "you can stop wearing that shabby school uniform."
He looked at her reflection.
"This way, no one will dare gossip about you again."
Pilea's eyes widened in shock.
Could it be… he noticed?
Her mind drifted back to the three girls in the hall.
Androsen tilted his head slightly. "What? Are you so happy that you're speechless?"
Pilea lowered her eyes. "There's no need."
He gently touched her hair. "Do you know what tomorrow is?"
She looked at him, confused. "No."
"Human memory is really low," he said calmly. "For something that happens once a year, it's funny you forgot."
She still looked confused.
His voice softened. "Tomorrow is Christmas."
Pilea's eyes lit up. "It is?"
But after a moment, her expression dimmed.
Androsen noticed immediately. "What happened?"
"It's nothing," she replied quietly. "I just remembered something."
He raised one eyebrow.
She sighed. "The last time I celebrated Christmas… it was with my parents and my younger brother."
Androsen didn't respond. He simply glanced at his wristwatch.
"What time is it? I thought you said you wanted to go to school."
Pilea quickly grabbed her bag, waved at him, and hurried out of the room.
Androsen watched her leave, then glanced at the maids. They immediately bowed and left the room.
When Pilea arrived at school, she was surprised. No one glared at her. No whispers. No attitude. Everyone simply walked past her like normal.
She entered her class. Everything felt… ordinary.
She didn't know if it was because of her outfit, or because Androsen had walked her to school before, or for some other reason—but school passed smoothly.
When the last bell rang, a car was already waiting for her.
Back at the mansion, the atmosphere felt unusually quiet. The maids informed her that Androsen wouldn't be around. The lights were dim, but nothing felt strange.
She freshened up and soon drifted into sleep.
The next morning, she wasn't woken by a maid.
Instead—
🎶 Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way… 🎶
Pilea's eyes flew open.
Her room was brightly lit. Christmas lights were everywhere. Red stockings hung on the walls, and the room glowed warmly.
She sat up quickly, her heart racing.
"What… is going on?"
Her eyes fell on a red gown neatly laid on her bed.
She wore it. It fit perfectly. She tied her hair into a high ponytail, did her makeup lightly, and rushed downstairs.
Her breath caught.
A huge Christmas tree stood in the hall, tall and beautifully decorated. Gifts filled the floor beneath it.
She looked around.
Then she saw him.
Androsen stood there quietly, his eyes fixed on her the entire time. He looked different—no dark aura, no cold presence. His eyes were warm.
Pilea didn't realize when tears began to fall.
She wiped them quickly. "I didn't know vampires celebrated Christmas too."
Androsen smirked.
"Big sis!"
Pilea turned sharply.
"Sam!"
Her younger brother ran toward her, holding a gift box. Her eyes widened in shock as she rushed forward and hugged him tightly.
They held each other for a long time.
When they finally pulled apart, Sam handed her the gift and smiled at Androsen gratefully.
Pilea looked at her brother. "They discharged you?"
"Yes," Sam replied happily. "Just for one day. And it's all thanks to Androsen."
Pilea looked at Androsen in disbelief.
I can't believe he took my words so seriously…
"Breakfast is ready," a maid announced.
They walked into the dining hall, and Pilea froze.
The table was filled from end to end with different dishes. In the center stood a huge turkey, perfectly prepared.
She didn't know what to say.
She hated vampires—but she was deeply grateful to this one vampire, Androsen, for making this Christmas unforgettable.
The meal passed peacefully. There wasn't much conversation, but the atmosphere was warm and calm.
Before she knew it, evening arrived.
It was time for Sam to return to the hospital.
They hugged tightly.
Before leaving, he smiled. "I hope you like the gift I got you."
Pilea smiled back and waved goodbye.
Her eyes shifted to Androsen.
A small smile escaped her lips.
Happy Merry Christmas, everyone ♡♡♡
